Need Unlock iPhone 4s 16GB Verizon to worldwide

Hello I bought the iPhone 4s 16gb Verizon on eBay. I live in Russia and can not use this operator. Tell me how to unlock the phone for the entire world and how much does it cost?

The phone could have been replaced under warranty & never activated for service with Verizon. If that's the case, you'll first have to establish service, with Verizon, then request the sim slot be unlocked. Verizon is correct in that they cannot request a phone be added to the officially unlocked database unless the phone was "assigned" to their network. I suspect this is your issue.

want to use a unlock iphone 4s on Verizon network i have restored the phone i put my sim card in an it jsut say searching

Verizon's network does not use SIM cards for 3G phones.  If it's unlocked you'll need to call Verizon and have them put the ESN for your iPhone on your line manually

Contact Sprint. They are the only ones that can authorize an unlock. No one else can. If they refuse to unlock, there is nothing you can do but sell the device and get another phone.

I have unlocked iPhone 6 16gb and i want to exchange with 64gb can i do that?

If it's been less than 14 days, return it and buy a 64GB. If you bought it from somewhere other than Apple, the return window may be different. If not, you cannot exchange it. Sell it and buy a 64GB.

  • IPhone 4 16GB (Verizon) purchase help!

    Hello,
I want to purchase an iPhone 4 with the 16GB memory. I currently have a plan on Verizon and my contract is available for an upgrade but I do not have a 3g plan currently. Verizon only sells the 8GB which isn't what I want, nor do I want an iPhone 4S. Is it possible to buy the iPhone 4 16GB from Best Buy and then change my contract with Verizon? Please help, I need a new phone ASAP!

Unfortunately the iPhone 4 16 GB version ceased to be manufactured after the release of the 4s, which makes 16GB iPhone 4s hard to come by.  You might be able to find a new 32 GB 4 at a Best Buy near you, but finding a new 16GB iPhone 4 is going to be very difficult via best buy.  If you really want a 16 gb 4 and not a 4s, your best bet may be looking for an aftermarket (used) 16gb iPhone 4.

  • Can I use a unlocked iPhone 5s on Verizon?

I Want to buy a unlocked iphone 5s but want to make sure first if it works for verizon and if there is anything I need to watch out for?

Buying from Verizon is the only sure way to know it will indeed work on Verizon. Plus you get Verizon AND Apple support by buying from an authorized seller. The GSM side of the iPhone 5s is unlocked from the factory so no worries about using a foreign SIM card. Buying anywhere else, especially second hand, is a recipe for disaster. Nobody is going to support a device they did not sell themselves, and to expect it to be otherwise is foolish.

  • HT4061 Can I use and factory unlocked iphone 4s with verizon

I purchased a factory unlocked Iphone 4s and would like to use it with Verizon is this possible?

Unlocked iphones are GSM network version. Verizon use CDMA network. You will only be able to use an unlocked phone with AT&T properly or T-Mobile with reduced functionality.

  • How to unlock iPhone 4s from Verizon for use on AT

How do I unlock a iPhone 4s that is from Verizon so I can use it on the AT&T network? My daughter's phone got wet and won't work. We tried her sim card in my wife's iPhone and it worked fine so we borrowed a iPhone from a friend for her to use until her upgrade is available. The borrowed iPhone is a 4s and is from the Verizon network and we are on the At&t network. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Verizon iPhone 4S can only be unlocked by Verizon for use on non US carriers. It can not be used on any US carrier other than Verizon.

  • Unlock iPhone 5 with Verizon Contract

how can a person unlock an USA Apple Store purchased iPhone5 with a Verizon contract in another country for use with their local sim card? the iPhone5 was never out of the box/used in USA.

Reportedly, iPhone 5's sold for the Verizon network already come out of the box with the nano-SIM slot unlocked.
Of course, the CDMA radio remains locked to Verizon, but the GSM radio should work with any nano-SIM without doing anything - at least there have been literally dozens of news and tech media reports of it being that way.

  • HT201328 Help Needed Unlocking Iphone 4 In Rwanda

The Iphone was a gift I can get all needed info about it, including the phone number, carrier, anything to prove it was a gift and not a stolen phone.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only the carrier to whom the device is locked can authorize it's unlocking.
Contact them and see what their requirements are and if you qualify.
Apple cannot and willnot unlock the device.

  • HT4623 My iPhone 4s (16GB Verizon model) began to update from IOS 7.0.4 to 7.0.6 but now is hung at the beginning and does nothing.

I have tried re-starting the process, including downloading the photos on the phone to my computer (which seems to have worked) but restoring it does not because there is a four digit code I cannot manage to get to a screen to enter.  The screen remains stuck on the black with white apple logo and the white progress indicator stuck about 1/16th of a inch from the left side.  Nothing seems to happen after that even after leaving it on overnight.

  • Unlocked iPhone questions that need to be clarified please!

Hi! I have read different questions and responses, however I am still really confused/need more information.
I just purchased an unlocked iPhone 5 (not Verizon branded) from Apple. My contract with Verizon ends mid October. I want to switch to T-mobile ($70.00 per month) so that I can use my new unlocked iPhone with a SIM card. I intend on only being in the US for a year and then I am going back abroad to work. This is why I need to have an unlocked phone. In the long run this will save me money from having to find an unlocked phone wherever I go.
From my understanding Verizon can unlock a Verizon branded iPhone but there are certain requirements. What are they?
I would be able to use this on GSM networks worldwide right?
And is the phone completely unlocked or are there some things that are still locked (like access to LTE)?
I know that Verizon only works on CDMA so if a Verizon iPhone is unlocked then how will it work on GSM?
So my overall question is what is a better deal when I am working abroad: Keeping my factory unlocked iPhone and switching to another network provider or getting a new Verizon branded iPhone and staying with Verizon?
    Thanks!

        Hi lanarj,
Great questions! Verizon Wireless branded iPhone 5 is already unlocked for international use on GSM networks, simply change the SIM card when your are abroad and your phone should work. LTE technology may have some differences in other countries and we cannot guarantee that it will connect to LTE. Keep in mind that it may only work in our network when in the United States. If you have any issues while abroad please contact our Global Support team http://bit.ly/UAy184 at your convenience. Bon Voyage!

  • IPhone 6 16GB CDMA flashing red screen after updating to 8.1

I have the iPhone 6 16gb, Verizon. I just updated from 8.0.2 to 8.1 and now my phone is in a boot loop from apple logo to red screen then black screen, repeating. I am trying to see if there is a solution that does not require me to restore my phone, as I do not have a backup as recent as i would like.

    Hi,
I had a similar problem last week with my nice shiny 3 week old iPhone 6. I noticed the Apple logo was on the screen, but it did not progress like a normal boot up. I restarted the phone, and it showed the Apple logo, then a red screen then cycled back to the logo and kept looping. I got the phone to the iTunes connection stage by keeping hold of the power button and the home button until the apple logo appeared then kept holding the home button. iTunes recognised the phone, and wanted to restore, but this was unsuccessful  because the phone would keep looping to the red screen and iTunes failed. After loads of Apple support, I was told it was a hardware failure, and like you I live more than an hour away from the store. None the less, I made an appointment with the Genius bods, and they replaced the phone. They said they had never heard of the problem, but really, take a look at these forums and you will see that it is a common problem and I suspect they are keeping it under wraps...
My issue is that as a disappointed customer with faulty goods, why should i have to stick to an appointment to get it replaced? What other store would you have to do this?
The "Genius" didn't even want to see the phone powered up before offering a replacement... Oh, and it turned out they didn't have the exact same model as a replacement so they were going to send me out of the store empty handed.... I kicked off BIG time, and they very reluctantly gave me a phone from the sales stock, rather than the repairs stock..
Not a happy Apple customer anymore, and I feel the more people who know about the lack of service and customer care the better. They need to get off there high horse and join the real world!

  • How to activate a Factory unlocked Iphone 4s

When I buy a Verizon IPhone 4s I am able to get a SIM unlock but this is not a unlocked Phone. I am not able to use for example
a AT&T SIM or use is on other CDMA Carriers. It states on the Apple Web-Site if I buy a Factory unlocked phone I am not able to use it on Verizon. This makes absolute no sense. I would like to stay with Verizon (customer for over 10 Years) but since I am traveling all over the world I would like to order a real World Phone.
Does anyone know how to activate a Factory unlocked IPhone 4s on Verizon.

The Verizon iPhone 4s is a real World Phone...what you are wanting to do is have Verizon service and use GSM networks while in the US...or at least that what it sounds like since you state that you are having trouble using another U.S. carrier's sim card on your phone. You can't do that. But when you are overseas you can use a local carrier's simcard there if you have the Verizon sim unlocked. As far as the Apple unlocked device that can't be used with Verizon...it makes sense because that device is natively a GMS device...so it will work unlocked on other GSM networks but not on VZW's CDMA. In general, it has always been my understanding that unlocked devices (not just sim's) are for use n GSM networks and not CDMA's.
