Need to rebuild Outlook 2011 for mac identity for exporting data file.

I was exporting outlook for mac data file (to import it into apple mail), and suddenly Outlook email client crashed and when I tried again it said that I need to rebuild the Outlook for mac database using rebuild utility. I took help from some professional technicians but it was a dead end. They said that my outlook for mac database was corrupt and they could not help me any further. Outlook for mac stores archives its data in .olm format and it originally stores its mails in .OLK format. If everything has failed then you can seek help of a tool that can recover these .olk14 messages. One tool I know that is capable of doing so is http://www.outlookmacdatabaserecovery.com/.
Look for the trial version first and see of it works and recovers you emails.

Inspiration browser for mac

tried to download the new inspirations browser and got an error message that said to contact you for support.
What do I need to do?

I clicked download and it seemed to be downloading fine but at the end it did not install. i recently updated to mountain lion on my iMac, could this be the issue?

Offline browser for Mac

Does anybody know a better offline browser for Mac than this? I haven't tried it yet.

Thanks for the browser info it seems like it might work well but having a few problems. When I go to websites it will tell me to enable javascript, I can't locate it haven't been on a Mac in years. I tryed to unblock cookies and also unblock images but those settings will revert back to, blocking them. I tryed going to software update, but that came back with, update did not find new or updated versions of your software. I thought maybe javascript needed to be updated? And OS 9 is more than likely no longer supported? So if you have anything I could try would appreciate it.
Also if I may add to this post. This G3 blue and white computer came with Mac OS X. But I couldn't reset the login password and didn't have the original OS CD, so couldn't get into it. The computer probably hadn't been run in years. I had to replace the pram battery, date was 2003. And had to replace the ram.To get it to start.
Then I installed Mac OS 9.0.4, because I couldn't get into OS X without the password.
I had saved the entire software pack from a iMac DV I bought in 2000. What I've read is, that OS disk would be specific for that iMac only, it installed on the G3.
I don't think the computer hard drive reformatted with the install of OS 9? The OS only took about 15 minutes to install. I didn't see a reformat window come up where I could make a choice.
My question is, would OS X still be on this G3? Or was it removed with the OS 9 install? I don't know how to locate it if it still is?

I second LibreOffice as it's the most recent fork, however NeoOffice and OpenOffice will also work.
Just say No money to Redmond!
Also the old Ready Set Go! will be having a Lion version out soon.
It's a low cost page layout program (like Indesign but without the high price) and can make booklets etc better, import the excel grpahics from LibreOffice.

It can use both in all the commercials they are using wifi im trying to find out just how much Siri depends on data but so far I think it mainly uses it to pull info up and for some reason to dictate email but it does work on carrier data I guess it's just slower so you don't neccersarily need a data plan in place or have to dig into it to use Siri If you have wifi close by

Safari. But as with any browser, speed depends on what type of internet connection have, high speed being the fastest.

What more do you want other than what I have already given. ie which browser do I go to which is compatible with mac OSX10.3.9 after pop up window advises me that the current version of Firefox (2.0.0.20) is out of date. To change to the later version of Firefox would mean me having to uprate my O.S. to 10.4 which will cost me money!

Sorry, there is no newer version of Firefox available for Mac OS X 10.3.
Please be aware that Apple no longer provides security updates for Mac OS X 10.3, and other important software like Firefox is no longer updated for that platform either. If at all possible, I recommend you upgrade your computer to protect your privacy and security. Perhaps you can find a friend with a copy of Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 that they are no longer using?

Need AV or IS Software for Mac with Windows apps?

I would like to know if it is advisable to install anti-virus or Internet security software on a Mac if you run both Mac and Windows applications. I ask this question because I understand that those programs may not as necessary for Mac applications only but I wonder if the Windows applications that I installed under Parallels Desktop 7 will cause the computer to be vulnerable. I also wonder whether in installation of the AV or IS software will protect both the Mac and Windows virtual machines. Thanks

Antivirus software for OS X is not necessary. However if you run MS Windows in any fashion meaning via Boot Camp or virtualization software such as Parallels or Fusion then you should treat the MS Windows installation as you would ANY MS Windows installation, in other words install antivirus software for MS Windows! The good news is even if your MS Windows becomes totally diseased this will in no way affect the OS X installation.
In your case because you have installed Windows in Parallels then get yourself some antivirus software for MS Windows and install away. You can resist the urge for antivirus software for OS X though for many reasons, first an foremost is there are zero (none, nada, zip) viruses for OS X. While there are some trojans out there for OS X they are few and far between. The primary difference between a Trojan and virus is that Trojans must be downloaded and installed by the user. The lesson to learn here is only download from trusted sites and any site that tells you to download something should be approached with a great deal of caution. In other words if you aren't sure don't do it and come to a these forums and ask. The next reason OS X doesn't need antivirus software is most take up a lot resources on your computer and slow it down, and finally many tend to create more problems than they solve. If you still aren't convinced then download ClamXav, it's free, unobtrusive and kept up-to-date.

How do i update my browser for mac 0s2 9.2.2

i need help bad! i have a mac g4 - version os9.2.2 that i was given. i just got internet service on it-verizon dsl and it is not working properly. the techs at verizon said that i needed to update my browser, but i am not sure what that means. they said i need to update it to 10.2 version. i called apple but they will not support me because of the age of the computor. what would be the upgrade that i should get and where can i get it for the cheapest cost? apple said to search on line but i cannot navigate these sites well.
any suggestions on a minimal upgrade and a place to purchase???

OS9 and Internet Explorer will work just fine with Verizon's DSL; they may not be officially supported, and you may have gotten a techie unfamiliar with Macs or OS9. You should have the latest upgrade of IE which is 5.1.7 although the original install which I think is 4.5 should work. I just installed from an OS9 CD last night and I checked to see before I upgraded. You may have to search these posts or Google to find the download link for the latest version; it's no longer available from Microsoft.
I suspect you may be having other troubles installing.
iCab should work, too, and - although I don't use Mozilla myself - if Tom says it works you may take it to the bank.
If you decide to go to OSX (which I find more capable but less user-friendly), avoid 10.2 (Jaguar) and get either 10.3 (Panther)(my favourite) or 10.4 (Tiger). I got my copy of Panther from http://Applerescue.com for $59.
In my experience, OSX browsers Safari, IE, and Firefox all work well, although there are some differences.

Hi there I finally got my old clam shell up and running new everything and it now has an aiport card - now I am looking for a browser that works. Any ideas on what, where and how would be gratefully recieved.
At the moment it is on its original OS 8. ( i think I have a copy of of the software update to 9 - not risked that yet because it is so nice to have it alive and kicking again.)

You posted in the OS X 10.3 & below forum. Are you saying you need a browser for OS 8 & not OS X? There's not going to be many options & a browser that old may not work with many of today's web pages.
