Need urgent help! - I accidentally sync my friend's iphone account to my company's iphone. I could not switch back to my own icloud account because of the icloud password i enter was incorrect. My friend does not use this icloud account since age only remember 1 password which i already try but iphone shown that " incorrect password" I checked on icloud ID and try to log in but it shown as " You Apple ID was disable for security reason. To enable your account must reset password" but so bad again, the email address that he used to create icloud ID also lock for security reason. May Apple Supporter please help reset it ASAP? I can verify that I am the iphone's owner, as it belong to company's phone.

Have your company IT department get proof that the company was the
original purchaser of the iPhone and visit a physical Apple store with
proof of original purchase, proof that person is company representative,
and the iPhone - Apple may be able to help. If no physical Apple store,
contact Apple - you will still need the same items of proof.

    You may be mixing up two entirely different Adobe products.
    1. Adobe Flash Player. Needed to view web pages designed with Flash. Not needed to view PDF files. Not available for Android (not just Sony).
    2. Adobe Reader. Reads PDF files. However, the Android can also read most PDF files without needing Adobe Reader.

    What I am saying is ..........
    The iPhone HAS to be active making calls on the UK carrier network for the carrier to identify as "theirs" and therefore eligible for the Carrier to unlock
    The way to achieve this is to use a PAYG sim making and receiving calls to establish a customer relationship  with the Carrier and then follow the Carrier's process to unlock
    With a PAYG it usually means adding a specified (by the carrier ) amount  usually £15 /£20 depending on the carrier
    This is how O2 function and according to Gemma  this is how Vodafone work

    Ive had my iphone5 stolen when i was in France 2 months ago. i now use my iphone 4, but today my phone went to the set up screen when when you first get an iphone. i was not able to set it back up because some one had changed my password. i found this out when i went on to itunes on my computer and asked it to send email to me so i could change it and i recieved it in french. guess work i sussed it but im worried that they have logged into all my other accounts including bank. i rung the phone company 2 months ago to report stolen so i assumed my phone would have been blocked. ive lost everything on my iphone 4 including photos of my new born little girl which hurts.
    what can i do about this?

    is there any way of getting things back that i never backed up?

    Sorry, without knowing the Apple ID/Password that was originally used to activate this phone, then there is no way to re-activate it, as you've found out.
    Apple can't/won't help you. Your choice is to get this info, or you simply won't be able to re-activate this phone.
    If you ex won't give it to you, then consult a lawyer.

    You will need the correct email address and password. Try signing on to iCloud on web browser. https://www.icloud.com If that does not work then you do not have the correct credentials regardless of what you think.

    Click on the "X" to the right of the product.
    Click "Unregister".
    If that doesn't work, you're going to need to call AppleCare and have them remove your phone from the system.

    Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
    Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
    I never install system modifications myself, and I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
    Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmyrmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.

    This isn't possible because of the way operating systems
    handle keyboard events. When you press a keyboard key, it does not register as
    one key down. For whatever your operating system is set for as far as repeating
    characters, it will register that many key down presses. The mouse works
    differently, when you press the mouse it keeps that event "locked"
    until you release the mouse. Because of this, you can not make a switch until
    release using the keyboard; this definition is only for mouse clicks.

    I understand all of this Meg; that is why I bought an Iphone; but never expected my phone not even give a at least a 24 or even 12 hours....I work 12 hour shifts and also would expect to have to charge each night but not twice a day or more.  I am not always somewhere I can charge my phone.

    Seems to be something to do with a new security check they have put in the system that does not work correctly and support is totally incapable of helping me out.

    I've been jumping through the hoops with Apple Support on this issue....first time I called they said I should try updating from IOS 4.0 to 4.1....tried that and the issue still persisted...then I called back to update the ticket and get the next steps...they said that the Bank is rejecting the request for verification and that is why it keeps prompting (which doesn't make sense since the confirmation seems to go through successfully). The rep also contacted the iTunes dept and had them run the verify manually and said the bank rejected it. The next hoop they want me to jump through is calling the bank to verify that the account is in good standing and inquire about the rejected requests. I'm fairly certain the bank account is in good standing....will verify of course....but I find it hard to believe that all the people who have posted here, plus countless others that are experiencing the same issue but haven't, are ALL having banking issues in the last 24hrs...I'm more convinced there is a disconnect on the back end between iTunes and Financial institutions...
    I'm not sure I buy in to everything I was told...he also told me he has had several calls on this issue and they were all told to check with their banks. He could not verify that any of his past calls were resolved. Needless to say I'm not 100% believing everything he told me....weak response from Apple support on this issue so far.

    I can't find that model. If you open System Profiler in the Utilities folder look for the Model Identifier over in the right hand display. What do you find for the model ID? If your computer supports Internet Recovery here's what to do:
    Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
    Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
    Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
    Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
    Partition and Format the hard drive:
    Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
    After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
    Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
    Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
    This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer. If Mavericks is not installed, then you can reinstall it by re-downloading the Mavericks installer.
    You will need to use Boot Camp Assistant in order to create a new Windows partition, then reinstall Windows.

    I have seen a lot of cases like your issue, and it's easy to solve.
    First, open Disk Utility, select Macintosh HD in the sidebar and repair permissions. Sometimes, a permission can be damaged and it makes that an application doesn't work properly.
    If that doesn't work, open Finder, select Go menu > Go to Folder, type ~/Library/Prefereces, delete "com.apple.desktop.plist" and "com.apple.systempreferences.plist" and restart
