Need Vista 64-bit drivers for Geforce Go 7900 gs for Satellite P100-437

Hi,
I just installed Vista 64 and the vista driver on the site is not recognised by windows and Nvidia doesn't have a driver available on their site either. It is for a Toshiba P100-437 satellite laptop, running a Nvidia GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics card.
What do I do? Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

Toshiba does not provide any 64bit drivers; neither for Vista nor for XP.
I would recommend checking the 3rd party sites like;
www.laptopvideo2go.com
www.omegadrivers.net

  • Satellite Pro A300-1NT - need Vista 64-Bit drivers

    Hello,
I bought the notebook Toshiba Satellite A300-1NT which came with Windows Vista 32-Bit pre installed and an XP Recovery Disc.
I bought the Vista 64-Bit Edition but I didn't find any drivers for Vista 64-bit on your website though it is 64-bit compatible.
How can I get them ?

    Hi
It looks like the Vista 64bit drivers for A300 series are not available on the Toshiba European driver page at this time.
    Therefore youve got two possibilities;
Either you will wait till such drivers will be released on the driver website or you will try to collect such drivers at your own hand.
You could search and try for example such single drivers released for another notebook series and could search also on website from chip manufacturers like Intel, Realtek, etc

  • Need Vista 64-bit drivers for Satellite Pro P100

    Hello,
I have one question about Drivers for Vista 64bit version. I have a notebook Satellite Pro P100 and search in the drivers catalogue and find only a BIOS update for 64-bit systems.
But where can I find the Hardware drivers for 64-bit versions?
    Regards
    Mischa

The 4 GB RAM issue is a known issue at the toshiba helpdesk (yes I had it and called) it's due to a problem programming the BIOS to handle more then 3GB.
As for your drivers I can tell you in advance you can find everything except SD Card driver and the microphone jack in plug support driver.
I'm sorry I forgot where I found those but the rest is out there (you can also try installing 32-bit version for the most).
Ow and the BIOS - update for 64 bit doesn't work for me so don't count on it to much lol

  • Where can I find Vista 64-Bit drivers for the Satellite A100-049?

I currently run Vista Home Premium SP1 32-Bit and do so because there appears to only be 32-Bit drivers on Tosiba's website:
    [http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/vista_drivers.jsp?macId=&mode=allMachines&userOS=& action=search&selCategory=2&selFamily=2&selSeries= 153&selProduct=700&selOS=2]
Where can I find Vista 64-Bit drivers for the Toshiba Satellite A100-049?
    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply.
That's rubbish. Vista 64-bit runs fine with 2Gb and my laptop supports up to 4Gb.
We'll never move on to 64-Bit if companies don't provide drivers.
I'll look at those sites. I've had trouble installing nVidia drivers from nVidia website.
I have to use the one provided by Toshiba.
Hopefully I won't find this when trying 64-Bit. My plan is to go 64-Bit with Windows 7 so no rush just yet.
As I understand it Vista drivers will work with Windows 7.
Thankfully when I reinstalled Vista 32-Bit not long ago using an OEM from Technet I only need 2-3 drivers from Toshiba website, most of it they give to download you don't need at all.
    Thanks again.
p.s - They do offer 64-Bit drivers for my network card though.

  • Satellite A300D with Vista 64-bit - Drivers for Conexant High Definition

    Hi,
I have Satalite A300D-15B AMB 64-bit notebook with Vista 64-bit installed. After I have installed Vista, it automatically took the audio drivers for sound card, but Dolby didn't work.
I tried to install the drivers from toshiba, it fails.
Can someone guide me how to install the Vista 64-bit drivers for Conexant High Definition Audio please......
    regards,
    Ganesh

    Hello Ganesh
Sorry but this notebook model is not supported for Vista 64-bit and I don't know what driver installation are you writing about.
What you can try is to download and install THIS driver.
This is driver for Satellite A300 but this notebook has the same sound card as your Satellite A300D - Conexant CX20561.
    Please post the results.

  • Color Laserjet 4500 on Windows 7 - 64 bit Share with XP - 32 bit Need Additional 32-bit Drivers

    Here's the setup:
Desktop: Windows 7 Professional - 64 bit with Color Laserjet 4500, shared, connected and working fine. The name of the driver is HP Color LaserJet 4500 PCL 5.
Laptop: Windows XP Professional - 32 bit.
No network problems. Laptop sees the printer, but can't connect without the correct additional 32-bit drivers installed on the desktop. The only drivers I've been able to find are listed here. When I try to add under host printer properties/sharing/additional drivers, none of the downloaded .inf files are accepted.
Since Windows 7 installed a perfectly good 64-bit driver, there must be a compatible 32-bit driver that cab be added to allow the XP laptop to connect to this printer- but I have not been able to find it!
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest installing the PCL6 driver on your XP machine, then on the XP machine do the following:  Start, Settings, Printers and Faxes, Add a Printer, Next, Local Printer, Next, Create a Port, Local Port, \\Computername\Printername (use the actual share name for the computer and printer), OK, Have Disk, point to the directory where the driver was installed (default C:\clj4500pcl6win2kxp).

  • Satellite P100-437, Vista and Geforce Go 7900GS

I have recently bought laptop P100-437. It was a very expensive one and was bought to play games.
Before buying it i have looked if anyone had any problems with it and i found nothing even on this forum so i decided to buy it.
It have seemed that it was a good choice.
Unfortunatly after few hours when I had run 3d mark I noticed that something is wrong.
Display driver was poor so I tried to change it.
I have only few days until I ive this laptop back to shop in exchange for some other. Probably not Toshiba and no Nvidia graphic card.
    Laptop was bought with Vista32bit.
Problem is low 3d performance caused by graphic slow downs almot every 4s during which fps drop down drastickly.
    THX for feedback.

Sometimes its really funny to read "Probably not Toshiba and no Nvidia graphic card". Regarding graphics card manufacturer, you have no big choice.
There are JUST Nvidia and ATI, and I promise you, they have almost the same problems in the mobile sector.
You wont solve anything by avoiding a brand, and it does not matter if I mean Toshiba, Big Apple, Nvidia, ATI etc..
Rather face your problem and dont shout around. Maybe your problem is so easy to solve and you just need the key for the resolution.
The first thing is, every manufacturer can say: This is a gaming notebook. But my experience in the last years was, that just mobile computers above 4000 $ are MAYBE good for gaming, because
the technique in these machines above 4000 bucks is the same like in my desktop which is really top-of-the-cream but costs just 1900-2400 dollars (including my 22" screen)
I just want to show you, what is really meant with expensive. Dont be dissapointed with your machine. You will be dissapointed with EVERY manufacturer, when you think you buy
a notebook which is a heavy gaming machine. NO GO!
There surely games you can play with, but dont expect TOO MUCH. And the other side are the drivers. Where did youve downloaded the drivers you mentioned?
Probably on the toshiba website. The people here in the forum are mostly downloading from sites like omegadrivers (http://www.omegadrivers.net/) which are good for mobile gamers.
Then Vista....Uh Oh, when I hear "I play games on vista", then everything in my brain begins to rotate. When will peoply DIG IT OUT!!!!! that Vista is EATING RESOURCES like H*LL!??
Please, before you start writing here, install XP on your machine and be lucky, because vista on such machine is not good. No good performance and very stressful times when you try
to play some games and you notice "Hey, something is probably wrong".
Ok, the third thing is: check which applications are running. Close as much unneeded and unnecessary apps like you can, because slowdowns on a computer system...maybe some software which is
    slowing everything down.
I dont want to be offensive but it makes me really frustrating to read postings like these one, while people DO NOT WANT to use that thing in their head.
In the beginning i speaked like you, but after a while I begun to inform myself and now I can surely give you some answers.
So, lets give me some feedback and we will resolve your problem together. :)
    Many Greetings

  • VISTA 32 BIT DRIVERS

Okay, i have purchased Vista Home Premium SP1 32 Bit. I will install it later, but i would like to know if there are any other drivers that i need to install besides the drivers included in the OS X installation disc. I have a 15.4" 2.4GHz MacBook Pro with NVIDIA 8600 GT 256MB graphics card and 4GB RAM with a 160GB 5600rpm HDD. I have read that you need to install the latest drivers for my graphics card and i understand that.
1.) What other drivers do i need besides the graphics card drivers?
2.) Can i download them and put them on a flash drive and upload them to my Windows OS
    P.S. one more question:
3.) Do i need to download DirectX9 for my 32 bit OS from the internet running Windows, or can I download the setup and put it on my flashdrive and transfer it. Also, can i download DirectX10 on my 32 bit? or is that just for 64bit? Or, better yet, does DirectX even need to be downloaded onto my new OS??
    THANKS SO MUCH!
    cheers

Well, the Mac OS install disk includes all the drivers you need for all the hardware you have. You don't need to download anything separately.
You don't need to download Direct X. Direct X 10 comes with Vista.

  • Latest Vista 64 bit drivers not install

It don't matter what I do, I cannot get the "SBXF_PCDVTBETA_L3_2_0_0000" drivers working with my X-fi Fatality sound card.
    Things I have done:
Turned off the signiture thingy as per the read-me (both at start-up and premient way)
    Turned off windows firewall
    Turned off Windows Defender
    No Antivirus/Firewall/Spyware/Adware protection
Run the file as a normal user and right clicked and selected "run as administrator".
Made sure no previous sound drivers were installed.
As soon as it gets to the "Updating the windows files", I get another box come up:
Creative Device Driver Installation has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avalible.
The only button I have is, close program, I click that and it goes to the audio console. At that stage I cancel the installation because ther sound apps dont work without the sound driver.
So I am left with a very muted PC.
    My PC Specs:
    Windows Vista Beta 2 5384
    AMD Athlon 4000 2.4 Ghz
    Asus Geforce 7800GT
    2GB of RAM
    Proacti've Asus A8n-Sli Deluxe Motherboard
    Asus TV card
    Creative X-fi Fataty Soundcard
    Logitech 2. Speakers
Hopefully somebody can help me out with my issue
    Thanks alot

Boot Camp will not support Vista on newer iMacs, you will need to upgrade to Windows 7. Also as an FYI there is a Boot Camp forum, you can locate it by clicking Apple Support Communities and then in the search field type Boot Camp.
    Best of luck,

  • Creative Vista 64 bit Drivers NO ASIO supp

Recently upgrading to Vista 64bit from 32bit I installed the Creative drivers for 64bit and so far they are ****. THe ASIO drivers do not work at all, I cannot use any of the music production software I own, I cannot broadcast using VDJ on my system, as the ASIO drivers do not work. You see a pattern ? 3rd party ASIO support works BETTER than the creative drivers yet its still unacceptable. Creative informed me that its not their problem, its the 3rd party vendors problem, well think again Creative, its YOUR drivers that do not function. So, what I want to know is, how long do I have to wait before Creative produces strong and reliable and WORKING drivers for 64 bit Vista ? The 32 bit worked, so why not the 64 bit ? Christ, after all the years you've been making soundcards, why are you fallin behind now ? Is Vista too advanced for you ? Then get Microsofts help. Ive bought countless Creative products over the years, for sound i've always had faith in Creative, but now, thanks to one of their support team telling me its nothing to do with them, im enraged.

Cant find them anywhere, and tbh, its the creative driver that is suspect. I can get ASIO4ALL to work, so the card's fine, its just the 64bit vista driver, hopefully they'll sort it at Creative, if not, i'll be going elsewhere for sound, simply because after all these years creative have been developing and making soundcards and drivers, you'd THINK they'd be able to get it right. Im even less impressed at Creative trying to palm this problem off on Image Line or any 3rd party app that uses ASIO, its not the programs fault its the crappy drivers, accept responsibility Creative, and work on a solution instead of trying to sweep it under the carpet and hope it will go away. IT WONT.

  • Drivers for Windows Vista 64-bit on Satellite L300-1AM

When I can get drivers for Windows Vista 64-bit? Or I need to intall 32-bit drivers on my 64-bit Vista operating system?
    Please links ;)

    [Toshiba - Download Drivers|http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp]
In the Drivers Search Page (the link above) select these filters:
    _Product type:_ +Notebook+
    _Family:_ +Satellite+
_Product Series:_ +Satellite A Series+ (don't try the L series if you want to find anything useful)
    _Operating System:_ +Windows Vista 64 Bit+
_Country:_ +World Wide+ (you have to select this in order to get rid of those multiple country options available for the modem)
    _Language:_ +English+ (obviously)
Don't modify any other filter. The results will be about 100 (maybe more, but the site is set to show up to 100 results).
    Advices:
    1. Download the latest versions only (there's no point in downloading multiple versions of the same driver, yet they will be shown in the search results area)
    2. Download what's specific to your laptop only (network - RealTek, both wired and wireless; chipset and graphics - Intel; modem - Toshiba; webcam - Chicony; there's no point in downloading anything from otehr vendors - except maybe the touchpad, but Windows can handle it properly without aditional drivers)
    3. Don't download any BIOS or Firmware file; they might not be for your notebook, and installing the wrong ones is a sure path to screwing up your notebook (and losing the warranty); if you need them upgraded, go to the download page for your specific model, Windows XP or Windows Vista 32 Bit drivers (since they are OS independent anyway)
Toshiba utilities (DVD Player, ConfigFree, etc.) should be OK too (again, download the latest version only).
BTW, I own 2 Toshiba notebooks (L300-1AM and L300-1AN; quite similar, the differences are in HDD and CPU only) and I had the same problem: no 64-bit drivers (and the same "support"). Quite strange the idea that Toshiba is testing these 64-bit drivers before releasing them (according to a previous post), since the same drivers, for the very same chipsets - but installed on other models - are available. Windows Vista 64-bit is out on the market for nearly 2 years now, the production of these models has already been stopped (and I assume they have not been produced during one night only :) ), yet they had no time to test the drivers... High-class support from Toshiba!

  • NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT driver for Vista x64

    Hello,
I have an issue with my new MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz 17" that was released on the 5th of June, 2007.
It has NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT installed on it and I simply cannot find Vista 64 bit drivers for it.
I have tried the latest beta Vista x64 drivers (163.11) downloaded from nVidia's official website. I have tried several previous versions including 100.97 one, which contains drivers for 8600M GT model. But they don't work with me. All the driver installation programs allert the following error and quit:
'The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit'.
I also tried Vista 32-bit drivers for 8600M GT. The driver installation program claims the operation system is wrong and quits.
    Anybody has the same issue?
Does a working driver of nVidia GeForce 8600M GT for Vista x64 exist at all?
MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz   Windows Vista   nVidia GeForce 8600M GT

There was one Apple's presentstion where they boot into Windows Vista. So if you claim you can do it why do you forget about Vista x64 customers? I reckon it is because of Leopard that is coming. But it's not an excuse.
I'm currently working in Vista x64 and everything is fine except one thing, I cannot find a working graphics card driver and it is manufacturer's responsibility to provide it. Apple knew there going to be customers who will install Vista x64 on their computers and they at Apple didn't care about it because I guess it's a lame war between you know who.
So why you don't make everything perfect to attract even more Windows customers but instead you hint that you don't care about Vista x64 as you are getting your own 64-bit OS soon. So now they are forcing me to wait having been announced that I can use Vista. But isn't that kind of lame that it's slightly tardy? Why I should wait for Leopard launch if I was insured that Windows will work on my Macbook Pro? Because Apple claim you can run Windows. And don't say it's not official. Who else if not Apple made it possible to run Windows on Mac.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to insult you. I'm just angry that I cannot find a working driver.

  • Upgrading Aspire E380 from Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit - No device drivers were found

I'm trying upgrade my Acer Aspire E380 from Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit and getting an error that no device drivers were found. This happens after booting from the Windows 7 DVD.  The Acer support site only provides Vista 32 bit drivers for this machine.  Where can I find the drivers needed for Windows 7 64 bit?

I think you need to download this:http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/14875/en-us It seems that Windows 7 doesn't have a disk controller driver for this chpset so you need to unzip the above file and take out the disk controller driver and manually load it so that Windows 7 installer can access the hard drive during installation.
