Need way to upload client files

My client wants a login page that goes to a page to upload
files for her clients to review (videos, images, powerpoints,
etc.). Does Dreamweaver have a way to do this? Or does anyone ahve
a third party plug-in for this kind of thing. We've found an FTP
upload site that works, but can't be customized to look similar to
her site. It also isn't particularly user friendly--you know, one
click, etc. I'd love to be able to do this in Dreamweaver, but I'm
not a developer or HTML expert.

I've not used either (have seen them mentioned here) but look

Any way to Upload a File Automatically without user interaction in BSP.
Problem is;
We have an terminal pc connected to an Production Machine and has a PLC for reading Machine Actual Datas. This terminal has Windows CE.NET OS. There is one program which Appending PLC Data to Text file (STORAGE CARD\PLC\SAMPLE.TXT).
Users can access to WAS system in this Terminal (Has network).
I have to access to SAMPLE.TXT file using BSP when user antered a page in WAS.
Have you got any solution. I have tried so much methods to do this. But i have not found any solution.

Yes SAMPLE.txt stored in "STORAGE CARD\PLC" folder in terminal.
But i am trying in my computer to test with "C:

I REALLY need to find Oracle Client File

I was installing a copy of Oracle 8i - 8.1.7 on a Unix operating system. After installation I tried to locate the client file so that I can start up the client, but to my surprise I could not find the client file(s) - program. Do you know what filename under the Oracle directory contains the client file. Without this I cannot run any of the great wizards that Oracle has to offer.

Well, there are a whole lot of files that come under the broad category of 'Oracle client'. There's presumably a /bin directory that has a number of utilities like SQL*Plus available...

AVCHD files require an intel mac to use log and transfer. You will have to convert your files to pro res or AIC. I think most people use Voltaic.

Hi,
if client and server are in same network the u can configure your file adapter using NFS protocal.
if they are in different network the you can upload using SXDA_TOOLS tcode.
The porcedure to put a file on server is as shown below:
1. Save your file in your local machine.
2. In XI server, enter the tranaction code "SXDA_TOOLS".
3. In the input screen, enter:
i) Object Type "DXPROJECT".
ii) Program Type "BAPI".
iii) Program "CREATE".
4. Press Copy (Ctrl+F5) button.
5. Now, you will get another screen in which you will see 3 blocks called as "Source", "Target" and "Copy with/without conversion".
6. In Source block, choose the radio button "Presentation Server" and then take F4 help to select your source file. (file which you have saved on your local machine)
7. In TARGET block select the radio button "Application Server", check the box "Remote server" and take F4 help to select your application server.
8. In the same block under "File Type" select "P physical file name" and under "File Name" write the path/directory name which you have mentioned in your communication channel along with the file name.
Example: suppose file name in your Comm Chanel is "demo.xml" and directory path is "/abc/testfiles/XML/", then in step 8 write "/abc/testfiles/XML/demo.xml".
Note: need not to do any thing in 3rd block.

while searching the forum i found the fm MS_EXCEL_OLE_STANDARD_DAT .
but while using this FM i am getting the exception file not exist.
Kindlu suggest what to do
i even tried the FM TMP_GUI_GET_FILE_EXIST' to check the existence of the file.
even then same problem.

Scheduled jobs are the jobs for which we have scheduled for a time, may be daily so that each day the scheduled jobs will trigger at the time given.So that every time u need not to trigger the job manully urself as the schedule time will hit the job will trigger itself.
Released job means the job which is in between Sheduled state and active state.say For eg: 10 jobs are Scheduled in a queue Job no 1 is released from the queue that means any moment it will be in active state.So it is the state between Schedule and Active state of a job.

I just followed your way. i copied the WebDAV URL and pasted and executed in a new browser. and i get....

When i choose "Web Folder", i get a pop up and it says "<i>The web folder address Internet Explorer was given was too long. Please use a shorter address</i>."
When i choose "Navigation User Interface", iam taken to the default KM Folder.
I nowhere able to see the folder structure like what you have mentioned in your reply.

There are many ways of uploading any file type to R3, provided it depends on how do you want to store it.
In general there are two easy ways, one is using the upload UI element, you can specify a path in the server and have configured it for all files and store the file directly in the file directory of the server.
Secondly, you need to do some work on the sap side, like creating a simple rfc, which will take up the file content as a 'binary' (raw) data type and store in the database with the relevant parameters. you rfc will take / get the update from the webdynpro UI element ( you need to do create a model ..context / binding..etc ). The whole file will be stored in binary form.
Hope this gives you some picture of how to go about on it.

If you are only loading one file as a single logical CDR then you could possible just sqlload it into a 2 column table so you have the first column containing the variable name and the second column the value. You can then run a select statement using pivot to turn that into a single logical row - see the example below:
This example assumes you load the first 3 values from your test data into a table called PIVOT_TEST using sqlloader (i did it with an insert just to demostrate the pivot). You need to list every possible value that the column value could be in the pivot command. See what you think....

Uploading a File via Web Services

We can't seem to find a way to upload a file without needing
to POST it to a specific page on the web server. On top of that, it
apparently also creates a new session in Asp.NET when we do the
post. How do you guys work around this issue?

I have solved the problem - for future references or for anybody else having the same problem read below:
The JavaDoc for HttpOutputStream states the following:
"There are two constructors for this class, one taking a length parameter, and one without any parameters. If the stream is created with a length then the request will be sent with the corresponding Content-length header and anything written to the stream will be written on the socket immediately. This is the preferred way. If the stream is created without a length then one of two things will happen: if, at the time of the request, the server is known to understand HTTP/1.1 then each write() will send the data immediately using the chunked encoding. If, however, either the server version is unknown (because this is first request to that server) or the server only understands HTTP/1.0 then all data will be written to a buffer first, and only when the stream is closed will the request be sent."
Constructing the HttpOutputStream with the size of the content to upload solved the problem. I guess the HTTP version was unknown or Oracle only understands HTTP/1.0 (anybody that can clear this up?), causing everything to be buffered (in memory) only to be send when the streams was closed, which in the case of a big file caused OutOfMemeryError.

UploadedFileProcessor Uploading Large File Optimization

According to the documentation, one should create their own implementation of UploadedFileProcessor if they need to support uploading large files or special uploading processing.
I am wondering if anyone has done this or knows of an article. I have a requirement for large uploads up to 4 GB though most of the time they'll be 100 - 400 MB.
