Welcome to the Lenovo Community !
Microsoft has removed the Digital River downloads.  They still offer a Windows 7 download, but it is for the retail version and will require you to have a valid product key.  Here is the link.....

There is no need to download any image.Look for a program called one key recovery.Select the option of creating a product recovery disk. That will be a copy of your genuine Windows7.

  • Need Windows 7 Home Premium DVD

I was having some issues with my computer, I reimaged it with a windows 7 professional DVD I got from work...but now it's not taking the product key, because is a different OS. Can HP send me a DVD with the correct installation files?
BTW...without knowing I also deleted the recovery partition.

    Hi,
    HP Recovery Disks.
Once you get your PC recovered, then try a Windows Anytime Upgrade to get to the professional version.  Your other option is to buy a full Windows 7 Pro license.

  • ISO for re-installing Windows 7 Home Premium Russian x64 with key on HP laptop (x32 installed now)

I have HP notebook with Windows 7 Home Premium x32 installed. I have added memory to laptop, but OS does not see it because 32-bit limitations. Laptop has label with key. I have no any CD/DVD included with OS. Where I can find Windows 7 Home Premium Russian
x64 ISO to reinstall with key from laptop label?

I just had talk with HP Support (I have Care Pack). You are not absolutely right.... Key from label (OEM on my laptop) is not binds to Windows bit architecture. HP has placed order today for media kit with x64 version of Windows 7 Home Premium included
    for me. It is free)).

  • Anyone have the Windows 7 Home Premium x32 upgrade disc

Hi.  I have an upgrade disc....but I have the incorrect one for my system.   It is an upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium x64.   I need Windows 7 Home Premium x32 upgrade.    I'm hoping to find someone with the proper disc for my system.  Lenovo said that's the only way I can upgrade now that the program has ended.  Anyone out there still have an upgrade disc? I will pay for mailing and live in GA.  If someone else missed the upgrade prgram and can use the disc I have let me know.
    Thanks,

    HankT,
When asking a question with undeclared statements, you make it more difficult. Do you have a link for your references concerning an need to upgrade the BIOS. On the webpage BN listed, there is no BIOS update.
I have an HPm8100e CTO, M2N68LA Narra2 board. You have the Narra3 board. The in-place upgrade (abeit it was Ultimate) was successfully completed. The only hick-ups were re-install of a few games, and new printer drivers. (I had 2 printers on that machine).

Yes, prathik. You can do it either way & it'll work.
No manufacturer gives installation discs nowadays.
If you want to restore to factory set OS settings, you can order recovery media from HP in your region.
But if you're not covered under warranty, they'll charge you.

  • Need help reinstalling Windows 7 home premium on HP G62-435DX

My internal hard disk crashed and I followed advice from this forum to use Ubuntu (using live disc from CD ROM drive) to recover data and save to external hard drive. Next, I replaced the internal hard drive with a 500GB internal hard drive. I figured out how to partition the new internal hard drive and get Ubuntu to acknowledge it.
Now, I'm trying to figure out how to reinstall my Windows 7 Home Premium operating system so I can try to get back to normal. However, I cannot figure out how to download Windows 7 to my hard drive using my product key that came with my machine when I bought it. All the download options appear to require you to buy/request Windows 7 recovery discs to run and install on the machine (since I didn't create these prior to my hard disk failing).
Is this really the only way I can use my product key to reinstall Windows 7 to my machine? Also, I cannot figure out how to download the OS from Windows 7 ISO downloads (via Digital River) to my internal hard drive - seems I can only do this by downloading and burning to CDs (which I don't believe I have the right kind - but obviously am happy to buy if it's the best/fastest option). It seems I have very limited options since I had to remove my internal hard drive, which then eliminated Windows 7 from my machine.
Based on these details - I ultimately want to determine the fastest, most efficient way to get Windows 7 OS back on my machine. I'd prefer to download it, but am hamstrung by having to run Ubuntu from a Live CD. Thanks for your help!

Here are the specs for your HP G62-435DX Notebook Computer. Here is the HP Software and Driver Downloads page if you wish to order the HP Recovery Discs and have them mailed to you. If you wish to download Windows 7 and use the Windows product key on the bottom of your computer, please see How to Install Windows 7 Without the Disc for instructions on downloading, creating the installation media (DVD or USB), and installing Windows. You will need a funtional computer with DVD burning software capable of burning the ISO to disc.

correct me if i am wrong you can order the restore disc from hp if the device is less than 5 years old or less depending how far hp will go back since so many new PCs and hp may go less that 5 years and you may need to order outside of HP support as for the pirate windows and this miscrosoft will not allow you any MsUpdates on their website and pirated copys of windows are a spell for trouble with glitched or security issues protecting your PC if it were me and i would use the restore disc to get the PC back where it was from the manufacture pre-installation

Okay, so I have a brand new Macbook Pro(15" late 2013) and I just purchased Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM generic). My question is, I don't want to buy an external hard drive and have a Windows 7 Home Premium.iso file. Could I use that to install and then use my key from the box to activate it?

I'm not sure if it's a retail key.. I bought it from Walmart, It's the OEM version though.. is that a retail key?

    Hi:
Looking at the hardware specs for your model you should be able to use all of the W7 x64 drivers and software from the HP Probook 450 G2 on your model except the BIOS and firmware files.
Your model uses the Intel HD graphics driver and the Realtek RTL8188EE wireless card driver.
