I bought my satllite A100 from Czech Republic and when I come-back to algiers (my home) I disover that the windows is in Czech language. What is the possibilty to have the windows in french or at least in english

Delivered software is the country specific and if you buy notebook in Czech Republic the OS is also on this language.
Delivered software is bundled with hardware and if you want to use other language you must use original Microsoft WXP installations CD. Drivers, tools and utilities you can find on Toshiba download page http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com under Support & Downloads. There you can find everything you need for all European languages.

HCM Absence types- need to display in different languages in the same country based on user language preference

We are implementing in Belgium where we need to have absence in both dutch and French for the different user sets. Is there anyway to set up one absence type but have the different translations for the different user groups. There was a document ID 1619320.1 that referred to the fact that if the absences were created by a seedfile then they would be translated. Has anyone come across this issue whereyou need to display the same absence type for more than one language in the same country and how did you do this or did you have to set up separate absence types in the different languages which I do not want to do

If you are using Captivate 4 multi languages is a
posibility..
Set a User Variable to pass the language you want to a Flash
SWF whic is embeded (This can play and hold multiple audio tracks).
For example Captivate 4 will pass "french" to the embeded flash SWF
which will play the "french" track.
OR
you could just use branching ;)

Need smartform output in different languages

Hi expert,
Can you please let me know how can I see the output of a smartform in different languages. I'm seeing the output of a sales order. I have three output types . ZZAC,ZZ00, ZZ01. The smarform is developed with the language attributes of Translate into all languages. Is it required to convert the forms in SE63? or there are other ways we can see it.
I need the output in all the languages like FR,EN,DE,IT,ES ,EN etc.

Try This... hope it will solve your problem....
To maintain the translations:
1. Go to transaction SE63 in R/3. Go to menu Translation->R/3 Enterprise->Other Long Texts.
2. Select the object type in the pop up. Smartform (SSF) object type is found under Forms and Styles(FS).
3. Enter the name of the Smart form and choose the source and target language(Let the Source Language be 'EN'). Now Click on 'EDIT'.
4. This would open a screen with the Smartform code in Source language on the top and an editor with the same code in the bottom. Find the text for which you need to maintain the translation and insert the translation in that place.
As usual after required texts are maintained Save and Activate.
To see the translated Smartform create an output type and assign the smartform and the driver program to this output type. In the transaction that sends output to this smartform, select the output type and select the language in which the smartform has to be displayed (translations have to be maintained in this language).This will give the smartform in the required language.

Dunning Letters in Different Language

Hi All,
Need help from your side. I have requirement that I need dunning letters in different language's. If we customer is from Germany the letter should be prininted in Geman language, If the customer is from Spain then it should have Spanish language, If Italy language is Italian.
So can any one guide me on same is there any config for this or how can I mange to do this.

Hi Kiran,
The forms are stored by language key. In each case, the print program selects the form in the language entered in the master record of the customer/vendor. If there is no form in this language, the default
language of the form is used, and the dunning program issues an error message in the dunning run log.
Pls enter language key DE/ES/IT in Customer master record (you can do it in tab 'Address'). Then, you will see that the dunning program prints the form in the requested language.

The application is always going to install in whatever language you have the PC set to. The only way I can think to change this is to change your installation from German to English.

thanks for replying, but i tried this option too, it did not work for me, neither isnull nor coalesce. I mean, the solution work for single value but when i pass multiple values then separated by a comma then it doesn't work and shows me an error like "Incorrect Syntax ','". I am using SQL server as DB and bip is 10.1.3.4.1
also please share the SR number, so i can also check the same.

IChat uses better Video Compression than Skype does.
On a top flight Mac you can send a 640 X 480 pixel frame up to 30 frames a sec.
Skype can't match this.
iChat in Video is Peer to Peer. (you can actually Log out of the Buddy list)
Skype seems to borrow something from everyone's bandwidth to make connections.
What do you mean by Business account Tracking ?
iChat Adds (or can add) the First Name, Last Name of your Buddies and create an Address Book Entry
Whether you mark those cards connected with a company is up to you.
(I have heard of issues with earlier version of iChat and the Address Book that "saw" the Company Name as the part of the Name and linking several Screen Names to the one name
Audio on a Mac using Skype tend to be the same as the streaming needs are less.
However you have to rely on any PCs audio abilities from PCs which may not be to the same standard.
Mac to PCs in iChat and AIM can be difficult though. (It should work but it rarely as simple as Plug and go)
Skype may suit your needs better on ocassions.

Sorry, but your likely going to have to use Windows 7 and Office on your Mac at work using Bootcamp.
Although you can share files OfficeMac and Office on Windows, the formatting will be off because two platforms use different installed fonts and formatting. This will cause a productivity lost and require extra editing at work
If you could share just PDF's then your fine, but that will unlikely be the case.
So to share files seamlessly your going to have to install Windows 7 (another $300) full version, 64 bit, using Apple's Bootcamp.

It's ok, though, you can boot into OS X to use that online and surfing etc at home. It's the internet and sharing of files from other Windows users that cause Windows to hoze up, so mimimalize both of those and you should be fine.
You can also run Windows 7 in a virtual machine software like Parallels or VMFusion. as long as you don't have any super demanding needs of the hardware, like running 3D games or super intense CPU actions like video processing. Office work is just fine and it's safer than Bootcamp, as in a virtual machine you can keep "snapshots" of previous states of the OS, and revert back to in case something goes wrong in mere seconds.
A real good piece of news though, Windows 8 is so radically changed from Windows 7, that your workplace will remain with Windows 7 as long as possible to put off all the retraining necessary with that new OS version.
So think of the $300 + $60 investment in Windows on your Mac as a longterm thing.

It appears the options for a similar product are subscription based and my previous versions were purchased outright.
correct, if you want to use on both pc and mac. but you only want to use on mac, can also upgrade to acrobat xi for mac.

Installing dictionaries for different languages in FM7.0 for Windows

Hi there,
I'm wondering how it's possible to install the dictionaries for different languages in FM 7.0. I installed it about a month ago and now I only have te languages US English and UK English in my Paragraph Designer. I know from my previous work that it is possible to have a lot more languages over there. When I look in the manual that's delivered together with the software, it says that:
"The FrameMaker CD contains dictionaries for all supported languages. However, the default Windows and Mac OS installation contains only one dictionary in a single language."
That's great, but when I re-enter the CD, I cannot find the other dictionaries anywhere.
Can someone please help me how to fix this? It's really important for handling files in different (european) languages, e.g. for the hyphenation.

components) and click on the "Change" button.

I have a power mac G5. It boots up fine and then a screen comes down and in a bunch of different languages tells me the machine needs to be restarted. At this point everything is frozen. I have done this a number of times and I get the same thing.

How to send email notification in different languages in Workflow? Can anyone send me some useful guidelines or link where it is mentioned.

There is no profile option available to specify whether send or not send email notification.
But after login, in preferences youcan set the notification preference value by which you can configure whether to send or not
to send email notifications.
If you select ''Do not send me mail' or 'Disabled' it will not send.
For other values it sends the notfication in different formats like text, html, attachments etc...
