Need Xcode! Will take all help possible!
Hi. I am using Mac OS X 10.4.11 and want to make an application for macs using xcode. I have read through the other similar topics and i want to let you all know I HAVE ALREADY BEEN THOUGH THE APPLE DEVELOPERS CONNECTION website. Is there a link anyone could give me to download an older version of Xcode. Please help me I am desperate.

You have a 1st generation iPod Touch.

Installed Xcodes and now all "Help" topics blank.
In an attempt to play "Myst Online - Uru Live" I followed instructions to install Xcodes from my original install disks. I now have the following problems:
I can't eject the install disk.
All help topics present with blank pages.
Safari will open but also presents with blank pages.
I am currently using the Firefox browser to send this question.
I am not a developer but merely an apple user who is now very much out of his depth.
If it helps, as part of the overall process I also firstly downloaded something called Macports (I think!). The instructions also mentioned something about entering the Terminal and typing a couple of lines of code, but I haven't got to this stage yet. In trying to install Macports after download, I get this message "Either uname or sed could not be found in PATH. Your system appears to be incomplete or misconfigured."
I am running an iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 duo. OS 10.6.8If I'm allowed to reply to my own question, I restarted the computer (which I now realise is the Snow Leopard OS and not Leopard) and everything is now OK with Help and Safari. I also downloaded the wrong version of Macports, which I have now corrected.
However, as part of my quest to play "Myst Online" I have to open Terminal and type in "sudo port install mystonline-cider", after which I will be asked for my password. The trouble is, after I type in the command and press return, my password is requested, but the keyboard freezes, so I can't type in anything else. -
Videos take all the screen in Full Screen mode!!!!!
I mean, if you have a flash, and a video on it, which is smaller than the size of the flash, AND if the project is set to be in Full Screen, then, when you publish it and test the .exe, the video will TAKE all the screen area!
I have included some pictures so you can see what I mean.

I know, this is really weird. Try it by your self. Create a flash, insert a video that doesn't take all the screen, add the Full Screen CODE, publish it and execute the .EXE file. The video will fill all the Screen.

If you look at the first one, you should be able to align quite easily as follows, View>Smart Guides being your friends:
1a) ClickDrag the top flower with the Selection Tool (black arrow) so it is clear of the pointy part;
1b) Click an empty spot on the Artboard to deselect, then ClickDrag the top flower by its bottom Anchor Point (Smart Guides say anchor when you are close enough to grab it) down to snap to the top Anchor Point on the pointy part (Smart Guides say anchor when you are close enough);
1c) Do the same for the boroom flower.
If you look at the third one, to get the triangles and the hexagon sized and aligned precisely, you may, creating them with stroke and no fill:
3a) Click with the Polygon Tool and select a suitable/chosen Radius and 6 Sides, then Object>Transform>Rotate by 30 degrees (or use the Rotate option in the Transform palette), you may Object>Transform>Reset Bounding Box to have it look nicer;
3b) Click with the Polygon Tool and select the same Radius and 3 sides, then deselect and ClickDrag the top Anchor Point to snap to the top Anchor Point of the hexagon;
3c) Object>Transform>Rotate by 180 degrees clicking Copy, deselect, and ClickDrag the bottom Anchor Point to snap to the bottomAnchor Point of the hexagon;
3d) Select all and Ctrl/Cmd+G to Group (for alignment purposes, you will know why if you try without grouping, see below).
To create full symmetry, you may use circles rather than almost circular ellipses; you may:
3d) Click with the Ellipse Tool and select a suitable/chosen Width = height;
3e) Object>Transform>Move a copy vertically by the Height (= Width) twice (or you may Ctrl/Cmd+D to repeat), to get three circles over one another with no gaps;
3f) Select the topmost and bottommost ones and Object>Transform>Rotate a copy by 120 degrees twice, to have all the seven circles precisley touching one another; you may Group them, but it is not necessary.
To have everything aligned, just:
3g) Select everything and click Vertical Align Center and Horizontal Align Center in the Align palette; you may click the pointy group or the circles ojnce more before aligning if you want to keep it in place (that will make it the key object that the other set is aligned to).
These ways may also help you further.

No other choice, you have to restore to use your iPad.

You can only delete them one at a time on the iPad. If you have an IMAP email account, go to your email in on the server using a web browser and select as many as you can at a time and delete them that way. That action will be reflected on the iPad. In IMAP - whatever you do on one device syncs across all devices. If you have POP email - start deleting one at a time.

I reset all setting including all data , so it shows that it will take 2hr, but now its almost i day only Apple logo is visible in screen , please help me what shloud i do, Actuly i want to remove all data , there is no virus no problem , just want to data, but untill now its not fix yetOhhh!
All you have to do is to put your iPhone into DFU Mode
Just simply connect your iPhone to iTunes, hold the power button + home button for 10 seconds, later by holding the home screen button continuously (Without leaving it) until it appears to be in recovery mode in iTunes.
You now hit the restore button in iTunes. It will download the latest version of iTunes, which might take a while.
After that, it will install the iOS (51.1) which might take 7-10 min. And you're good to go!

I have been trying to install window 7 operating system through booth camp assistant, i will finish all the stages for window to complete installation it will hook. the installation cannot be able to complete and i really install windows on it, please i need an assistance on how to go about it.
Right now I have 6 different systems installed. Windows XP, 7, and 8 plus Linux Mint, Commodore, and OS X Snow Leopard (for old times sake), all running on Mountain Lion.
I recommend reading the user manual as it greatly helps getting through the steps, however an intuitive person should pick it up fairly easily.

Have older Dell Dimension 32/bit with Win XP Prof 2002. I have installed CA security suite from my ISP, which is a huge program and uses 100% of CPU on start-up & shut down, slowing everthing to a snails pace. I have removed evrything I don't need using 30 day free Revo Unistaller Pro, but when I try to access CA's Firewall to add programs to the exception rule, it will open, then freezes along with Firefox tabs and anything else. Can't even shut down from start menu. I want to get rid of CA(although it is a good program, it's too big), and go back to using my Win Firewall(or another better free firewall that's good for more than 30 days trial) and some other free internet security program that is easy, runs in the background and doesn't take all my resources and isn't just a 30 day free trial till you buy the program. I am also trying to install a wireless adapter so I can drop my ISP and use the free city/county signal as no work for 20 months!

No more crashes or freezing & yes I think there is a problem with CA & Firefox, but am not sure what it is. CA was a big time hog. Last night my boyfriend did a reinstall of our old desktop which runs Windows XP. He did not do a back up of ITunes or the libary just whiped everything. I am afraid that if I Sync my ITouch I will lose all of my music and movies etc... since the ITouch wont recognize the computer. I have backed everything up onto the ICloud but my sysytem is so old I cant run IClooud on my desktop.I have already downloaded the newest version of ITunes onto the desktop and "Authorized" the new computer and logged into the ITunes account. But need more info before I want to plug my ITouch into it. I did this once before and lost all of my movies and music so this time I am asking before jumping in with both feet.

Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

I only use my ipod touch for downloading audio books with Overdrive and do not use itunes on it. Today I charged my ipod on my mac, and my mac screen now tells me that itunes has detected that my ipod is in "recovery mode" and I need to "restore" my ipod, but the message warns that if I "restore" my ipod, I will lose all my settings and be back to factory settings. All that shows up on my ipod screen is the itunes logo and a charging cord. I would be so grateful for some help.
When in recovery mode you can't backup the iPod.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
