hi guys! i have something to ask about this update iOS8
it's been 13hours i keep updating the new software but it still stuck it doesnt proceed anyway
a message appear estimating time remaing! whats wrong with this i have a free space of 7.2GB
and when i try windows via itunes iOS8 update will not appeae instead of iOS8 the iOS7.1.2 will appear!!
need some opinion guys! thanks and more power

Try reset iPad and continue with update.
Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down together until you see the Apple Logo.
Note: Data will not be affected.

If you got the question mark and you do not see any partition to install OS X to, it is not good.
Close the OS X installer by pressing the red button at the top left corner of the Install OS X window, and open Disk Utility. Then, look at the left sidebar and tell me if you see your hard drive. You should see something like this:
Do not worry if you do not see Macintosh HD or if the option with an arrow shows a different name. This is normal.
If you see it, choose it, go to the Erase tab and erase the drive. Finally, close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X. You will lose everything if you do not have a backup.
If you do not see the drive, it is damaged and it has to be replaced. You can replace the hard drive of a MacBook Pro without voiding the warranty, and any 2'5" SATA hard drive is valid. If you are not an experienced user or you do not want to go inside the MacBook, take it to an Apple Store or reseller.

I would appreciate a Java code for a "send" button or a "send page" link that would send a complete web page to my email address. I have some forms for my users to fill out online and send them to me, and so the problem I am having is that when I use FrontPage forms (text boxes, check boxes, radio buttons, etc.,)for them to use, I am getting the input from those form only. What I NEED to get is the complete page, exactly what the users see on the screen with all the text in the forms. The need for this is that these forms (reports) will later be printed out, so they MUST look exactly as on the screen.
So I am thinking a bit of Java code could help me out. Would you give me a hand guys? Thanks!

Do some JNI and take a snapshot of the screen, it is the ONLY way I know to ensure EXACTLY what you ask for: even the HTML from the page may look different than what the users sees when filling out the form when that HTML is displayed on a different machine and system.
Otherwise your agument seems a little trivial and you could just replicate the form on your local machine and insert the data you captured with a normal post operation into the local copy of the HTML form.

Report with Two Queries -- Really need your Help Guys

I might be posting duplicate thread but i couldnt found the Q&A that i am looking for.
I am trying to create a report where i have to use two query. Also, with this query i am passing parameter where i ask user to enter Report Month so they can run report by what ever month they want to see data.
Now my Q_2 is duplicate or Q_1 because in my final report layout i have to display fields where i have to compare current_month_data to Previous_month_data. so basically i want user to in put current month date and previous month date and layout look like.
Company_Name Currentmonth_sale previousMonth_Sales ....
Honda $1423.42 $324.42
Toyota $3433 $4255.45
so on....
Now so far i create report manualy and drop two query in to the report but when i trying to create Report Wizard and group by each Company.. it is not giving me the out put that i want. Instead of giving me above out put its give me my Q_! result with each company group and then under that result i have Q_2 result.
so HOW CAN I DISPLAY FIELDS FROM MY Q_2 WITH MY REST OF THE FIELD ON Q_1?????????????????????????

Actually, I tried to use Data Link but i am not able to success.
Let me know if I am doing anything wrong . i click on left hand side tool panel where its says DATA LINK. then i click on Q_1 field and then drag the mouse over to Q_2 query with same field name. but its give me an error that Can not link it because of Group data and i have option to choose Yes, NO or Cancel.
Let me know what are the step i need to take in order to link this two queries.

The internet was working fine til 10:31am philippine time. Was downloading OSX Lion, at that time it was somewhere half. Then all of a sudden internet failed and lost connection. Called my ISP immediately and was told it would take 24-48hours for the service to be restored. THen after ending the call the OSx Lion icon disappeared. I dont know what to do. Im not techie at all. Open source projects for reading/wrting Excel, need your ideas

First of all, I am sorry that i didn't find the matched category under the listed forum topics.
I am evaluating some open source projects for processing(read/write) Excel files, so far i have found two: POI from apache and Java Excel API, however, i am wondering if there are any excellent projects that i missed, would anyone who have such experience please give me some ideas? Any better APIs?

I think POI is not 'excellent' in some areas, for example, i found POI sometimes cannot read Date format collectly, and cannot support some kinds of formula either. So we want another more 'excellent' java-excel components.

I'm a very satisfied owner of an iPod nano which I use with the iTunes software. Recently I also bought a few songs for the italian iTunes Music Store and I was very satisfied also by this service; but I had a problem.
A few days ago I had to completely erase my hard disk because a virus damaged it. I made a copy of my music folder and I re-install the Win XP2 operating system but when I re-imported my songs I discovered with sadness that the music bought on the iTunes Store was disappeared. I try to recover them from my iPod but iTunes didn't allow me; I autorized my pc following the instructions gave on the web site but I always receive the same answer....you are not autorized to transefr this music on your pc. How can I do? Moreover some songs that weren't up to date on my iPod and were only in the music backup folder are completely lost I think....can I recover them?
I hope I manged to explain my problem and that you can help me.

For Valentine...I try to return on the store and to re-download the a song but I have to pay another time....it don't works...

Yes currently we are doing analysis on master data consolidation.
This is small idea.
We are trying to gather suggestion from the guys on community that what actually the problems they are facing and need solution on the problems above on MDM and BI or anyone.
Like we have a requirement give the supplier a application that accpet the data from supplier and before importing it to mdm first validate the whole file and then import it as there is no solution to first validate the the data provided by supplier that they are giving.
so we are working on this application also.
If you have any good idea that we can work on it then please share with us.

I m a new guy in java programming and learn from many books.I m making a website and portal right now and dying need your help about DES.my portal (using java) requires somebody to make a login name and a password.I m done with the server and client things and rite now stuck with this "DES" stuff.
so I make some conditions and algorithm below..
1. when a user login,the password is encrypted.at this point,cleartext(id) and encryption (M,N) are involve.
2. then the key is changed based on algorithm.
3.the key changed by key(id) is received and the original text should be encrypted.
the algorithm
1. the original text x1.x2.x3.x4.x5.x6.x7.x8 (64 bits)
2. encypt the password
a. Each character is changed into an int type by the ASCII code, and let the 1st bit be an odd number parity bit.
b.The 1st bit of the 1st character in (IP) is set to '1', and the 8th bit of the 8th character as '64'.
c.the rest (IP) is like this

just ask about a simple program how to receive a
password from somebody and change it to a key..and
then confirm it with DES.Once again I have a problem understanding what you are asking.
Are you trying to use the password as a key to encrypt some 'standard thing' and place this encrypted value in a database? If so then look in the JCE for 'password based encryption' such as PBEWithMD5AndDes. This seems back to front to me but I can see nothing wrong with the approach since the 'standard thing' you would encrypt is in effect a key. If this is for a commercial application then I would find a security expert to evaluate your proposal!
In my experience it is more normal to encrypt the user's password with DES and store the result in the database. To do this just look in the JCE for DES encryption and consider using DES with CBC and PKCS5 padding. Also, consider encrypting the concatenation of the user's 'user name' with the password as this will (almost certainly) avoid having two encrypted values in the database that are the same even if two users have the same password.
For both of these you might consider using Base64 or Hex to turn you encrpted bytes into ASCII characters before trying to store them in your DB.
