for which module you need help on test scripts.
Plus test scrips are generally customer specified requirement, You have to prepare it your self considering the scenerios for their business requirements.
like if you have businees process like shift allowance, You will prepare stepby step process on how to set up and what all activities required to get the desired result .
#ly for payroll, how salary is calculated based on monthly, bi monthly or prorated cases.

If you are using a "normal" transaction without any controls (like ALV lists, trees) then you can use the recording pattern TCD REC (TCD (Record)).
In transaction SECATT give a name for your test script (e.g. Z_XD01 or Z_CREATE_CUSTOMER). Within the test script choose pattern TCD REC and enter the transaction you want to record (e.g. XD01).
After finishing the recording you will see the following line in the eCATT editor:
TCD ( XD01 , XD01_1 ).
Meaning:
- TCD = recording pattern
- XD01 = recorded transaction
- XD01_1 = eCATT interface for the transaction
Next double-click on the eCATT interface name (here: XD01_1). Next to the editor you will see the interface displayed as tree and as ALV list. Here you can parameterize your transaction.
Please note that you should preferably use the highest available SAP release for eCATT recording. If, for example, your business system has release 6.20 and you have a 6.40 system available record the eCATT on the 6.40 system via RFC.

Need Help in scripts relating to subscripts

I have encountered a HUGE problem in flash and I desperately
need urgent help from flash experts out there so please hear me
out. Here it goes >> I am currently working on ‘fill in
the blanks’ questions and answer for my chemistry project and
the thing is , I need to ENABLE other people who are going to do
the questions I created to type ‘subscripts’ for
example ‘3 2’. Now I have seen similar questions from
other flash documents is also requires entering of
‘subscripts’ and they used some script in the flash
document, WHICH is the user( person who is answering the questions)
can type in normal fonts as well as subscripts by HOLDING down ALT
key and typing the number, and the subscript would appear in the
selected INPUT BOX. i have attached an image below for better
understanding of my problem.

Need urgent help with HSDIO hardware timing

Hi everyone,
I need urgent help regarding HSDIO hardware timing. I've been working in a project which generating serial ramp using HSDIO pxie device.
I'm using clock rate 40MHz and generating 14 bit of boolean for each step of ramp. And I have to generate simply 256 steps ramp.
Which means, 256 (steps) x 14 (boolean array) x 25 ns (period of 1 boolean value) = 89,6 ns.
What I'm doing right now is with using index of FOR loop as my input data (converting the index into 14bit boolean), then write into pxie device in every iteration,
which means, my data is getting into output in every 1ms time, right? (I'm using windows)
And I want to be able to generate faster than that.
How can I prewrite my 256 steps ramp, then write them all at once into pxie device. I'm really stuck here.
In the picture can you see how I do the write into device in every iteration of FOR Loop.

hi, thanks for responding.
with using example of dynamic generation with script, I can manage to generate the ramp with controllable delay (generate the whole waveform, including delay with script command, then write to the card).
But I still have 1 question, I can test the output of the generation using oscilloscope and cant see the start delay (I'm writing delay at the start, before generating the ramp). My signal generated at 0 sec.
How can I check this start delay? is there any good example delivered with Labview to check this generation? Somehow I cant use the "dynamic generation and acquisition" example to see my generation (cant figure out how to capture the generated signal).

Test script is nothing but unit testing through which you list down the steps that are needed to execute a test case and record the results.
In your case, since you wanted a test script for billing, first you need to identify the different types of billing documents configured in production client. For each and every billing document type, you need to create a test document and record in the following format
Test Scenario No.
Scenario:::Billing
No.::TCode:::Description:::Input Data:::Output Data:::Remarks (OK/Error)
We call this process as ASAP Methodology. The prescribed format you can get in service market place.

Setting timeout for all the web test scripts in the solution

Hello,
I have around 16 web test scripts (using VSTS 2010 ultimate version) in my project (in a solution). By default the timeout set for each request is 60 sec. I need to increase the timeout to 180 sec. Currently, I am clicking on each request and modifying
the timeout parameter from the Properties window.
Is there any common setting for timeout available which would be acting across all the scripts?

We only can set Timeouts for a separate request in Visual Studio Web Test. There is no way to set Timeout for all requests in VS IDE. But you can write you own logic code using
Timeout Property in a web test plugin to set Timeout for all requests in a web test.

Importing internal table data from FM to eCATT test script

Hi all,
I am working on Workflow project where by i need to post invoices related to purchase orders sent as scanned imaages. Incase all the data in the incoming invoice(scanned) is correct then i am using BAPI_INCOMING_INVOICE_CREATE to post the invoice.
But when the data is wrong, i need to give the user MIRO transaction pre-populated with the invoice details so that he manually corrects them(after verification) and posts the invoice.
I understand MIRO is an ENJOY transaction hence BDC doesn't work properly(i have tried with all kinds of options on recording and the problem comes incase of multiple POs) hence i choose to use eCATT.
The recording worksfine but my real problem is the PO data (multiple PO details for same invoice) is in table form. In all my previous objects related to eCATT we used to upload the file, hence no problem of importing tables.
But now as i'll call this test script from a function module which has all the POs in the form of internal table, i need to import this into my test script.
Please any body tell me how to proceed in this case or please suggest me a better a way to record the MIRO.

Yes, I know about Parking an invoice. even i am using it in some scenarios.
If everything on the invoice matches with the values in SAP then i am posting it using BAPI invoice_create also.
But for some scenarios like if the PO on the invoice doesnot match with actual PO then i need to create a work item in the Accounts Payable user's inbox and he will change invoice data manually (after getting confirmation and correction) and post it using MIRO.
Here i need to pre-populate the MIRO with the invoice data so that he can correct and post it.
Hence i was trying to write a BDC and as MIRO is an Enjoy transaction i thought writing a BDC is not a good idea (i tried writing BDC but had problems) hence i am using eCATT.
Hope i am clear about my problem. Any inputs to solve this are welcome.

I am looking for detailed test scripts covering all test scenarios for system testing in financials modules. I am interested in Purchasing, Payables, Cash Management, Projects and Fixed Assets. I also need for Receivables and Order Management.
Do some body have this please let me know. If there is any website or download place where I can get this. Please let me know.
I am looking for a test script to show the purpose and results clearly including the gl accounts involved and the results in debiting and crediting the accounts in various transactions while doing the test. For ex. when you validate a PO matched invoice in Payables which accounts get affected and how etc.

Errors while running load test scripts in Oracle Load Test

I am a QA Analyst and this is my first time using the Oracle Load Test application. Acutally this is the first time I have done anything related to load test scripts. The Oracle Load Test version I am using is 9.10.0219. When I run some of the scripts with a user ramp up of 1 user per step, the load tests complete successfully. When I begin to adjust the number of VUs per step to 2 or more, I begin to get some of the following errors. By the looks of these errors can you provide any feedback as to whether these are issues with OLT or with the application I am running the load test against? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
It looks like an application issue since you are getting a HTTP 500. The other errors relate to the fact that ti can't resolve some dynamic values in needs to extract from the resonse content since the pages are different (probably due the 500 error).
