Needing help on charging my Blackberry 9800

My phone will not charge. Everytime I plug it in there is a small black plug image across the battery image in the top left corner. I have tried connecting my phone to the computer USB but that doesnt work either. A message comes up on my phone saying that it wont connect to the USB and I need to prove that the connection is turned on and not in sleep mode. I have tried several different ideas but nothing is working. This is a brand new phone and I am needing to know how to fix it before the battery completely runs out.

Try a Battery pull please, with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot device. This will clear all cache like rebooting a PC. Then try again and see if your problem persists.
What OS are you on? On your device, type in a new message MYVER and a space after to see and report back please.

I bought a blackberry curve 9330 on ebay and when I plug it in to charge the red led comes on then goes off after a few seconds and it acts like it wants to turn on but doesnt any ideas at all please please help me anything is helpful!

Connect the 9330 to your OEM wall outlet charger.
Leave it charge a few hours.. and then,
With the charger still connected, remove the battery and reinsert the battery...
does it boot up properly?

I need help with charging my ipod nano!!!!

Ok when I go to charge my ipod nano it says it's already charged but when I take it off the charger and try to listen to music it say battery has no energy battery drained. So if someone can please try to help me get it to work.

I disagree. Don't assume that it needs to be replaced without first testing it.

Zen Accessories, good or bad? need help with charg

I recently bought a creative Zen 4Gb player( the one that's the size of a credit card) .. [well long story short, i bought 3 and this ones finally working!!]and i bought a Plug-In Charger for it online, are these good Will they overcharge the player Does anyone else use them It was extremely cheap(but P&P added a whole load to the price), but was it too cheap Since Creative don't sell chargers does this mean they are not supposed to be used Also, Does anyone use the armbands at all Do they hold the player securely Do the skin/ covers have a belt clip on them Thanks!

Are you able to try taking it back to the store that you bought it from and ask them to activate it properly ? Need help with charging my iphone 4S.

I plugged my phone in to charge it and the battery screen does not appear. Tried regular ac outlet and usb to my computer.

First of all, never do that with a modern rechargeable battery. Discharging it all the way is not good for the battery.
Secondly, iOS 7 is VERY particular about the charger and the cable you use. If you are using the originals and if there is no damage to the port and if resetting the phone doesn't correct it. You might need to look into 1) having the charger replaced and/or 2) having the device replaced.
You might also try reinstalling the OS.

Follow this steps.
On the recipient's BlackBerry smartphone
1. On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, select Media.
2. Select a media type (Music, Video, Ring Tones, Pictures).
3. Press the Menu button and select Receive using Bluetooth. The File Transfer dialog box appears, followed by a prompt to Save or Cancel the file.
4. Select Save to save the file to the current location, or select the folder icon to save the file in a different location.

Need help syncing Entourage - PocketMac - Blackberry 8830

Hello,
I am new to Mac and am having a bit of trouble. I installed Entourage and Pocketmac and am trying to sync Entourage with my Blackberry 8830. I can sync my Calendar and Contacts without a problem, but neither my Tasks nor my Notes will sync at all. I have searched around online and have not found reference to this exact problem anywhere. I would like to get this resolved as soon as possible and would appreciate any advice, tips or fixes anyone may have.

I have the same equipment (MacBook Pro) and 8830 and I'm getting the same results!! I also unchecked the "Tasks" and "Notes" and it synced fine. Since I'm using the "Getting Things Done" method, i'm going nuts without my tasks!! I hope a solution is found soon.

need help.. i have blackberry 9380 v.7.0.0 and i want to update it to 7.1.0. The problem is when i check it on the software updates under device option it says "Your Blackberry is up to date". then i plug in to my computer and check updates under desktop manager it says no updates available.

1. Download the OS from here (it may not be your carrier but it doesn't matter):

2. It doesn't hurt to do a manual backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > Backup. Close Desktop Manager upon completion and unplug BlackBerry. You can get BlackBerry Desktop Software here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
3. Download the OS file from step 1 to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
4. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Also check the following locations for vendor.xml files and delete any instances of the file:
On Windows Vista/7 navigate to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (Where "YOUR_USER" is your username)
On Windows XP navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (Where "YOUR_USER" is your username)
5. If you're simply updating the OS to a newer version skip this step. If doing a clean OS reload use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a complete backup) then after you get the error 507 (no OS installed) then proceed to next step.
6. Plug in BlackBerry and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

My Blackberry needs to be charged everyday

I bought a Sprint Blackberry back in June of 2008. In November 2008 my phone needed to be charged everyday because the battery was draining fast. Regardless if I made 10 calls in one day or 1 call a day I have to recharge it everyday. I am not a heavy phone user at all so there is no way it could be the battery. But I bought another battery anyway just to see. The new battery had the same problem. And just to check I took my old battery (the battery that came with the phone in June of 2008) and put it into another person's Blackberry and they did not have to recharge it for a week). So my phone is defective and Research in Motion is obviously doing everything possible to prevent me from contacting them. Anyway just wanted to ask if anyone here has had a problem like this and what might be a possible fix.
I tried bringing my phone back to Best Buy where I bought it and to Sprint, my provider, but since it is over 30 days I only have the 1 year warranty left that I can fall back on.
Any help is appreciated.

What kind of format will you be working with?
HD? HDV????? DV? Beta?
I'd buy the biggest baddest mac you can afford - 2 gigs memory is fine unless you can swing 4. Fill the 4 bays with at least 500gig drives (but....)

few days ago I have purchased Iphone casino games from itunes apps store. One of the game was made by the company called "ARISTOCRAT" dragan game. Usually we will get basic tokens to play the game, and if we ran out of the tokens all we need to do is going into "manu" and "setting" selete "dream" and reset that we should be able to continue play the game with same amount of the basic tokens. The one game would not let us to go back to the game. There were msg came out said" game center requires an active connection to the internet"? I didn't feel comfortable because we purchased the game for $1.99 to play for fun and not to gamble. We do have credit card on your file. We don't want to be charged alot of money for something not in our well. I need help to answer the question on the following:
1. Are we able to ever play this game again without going to internet? We don't even know which site to go to, because when we press the ok button nothing else came out to direct us to any area.
2. We only purchased the few days ago order ID: MGT74GN6V7 on 10/03/12. all the other games we purchased we were able to continue to play by doing the same setting.
