Needing to get back to the beginning with Spry

I am very new to Dreamweaver and have been learning about it
through playing with it. I've got a really good idea now of how to
get the look that I am wanting with Spry, but I have screwed it up
way beyond my ability to repair. My problem is that I can't figure
out for the life of me if and how to get to the default settings
again. Any suggestions and experience would be greatly
appreciated.

It sounds like you have updated files in the SpryAssests
folder. You
should never touch those files -- always override them
instead.
To restore them to the original, do this:
1. Look in the SpryAssets folder and make note of all of the
files there
2. Rename the SpryAssets folder to SpryAssetsOld. DW will ask
if you
want to Update Links: answer NO (or Cancel).
3. Create a temporary page and insert 1 of each type of Spry
Element
that you use on your Site.
4. Save the temporary page and DW will recreate the
SpryAssets folder.
5. Compare the new folder with the old one and repeat step 3
if necessary.

The new forced upon me upgrade for iPhoto '11 never opens. After I do all that is recommended, it sends me back to the beginning. How can I get it to work?

I am using a mac mini version 10.9.5 which I have just updated. Now when I try to open i photo, all I get is a message telling me to "prepare" my library. I have installed and run the iPhoto library upgrader, but it only sends me back to the beginning telling me to install the upgrader (which has already been installed.)
How can I actually get the upgrader to prepare my libraries and actually see photos?

What version of iPhoto are you currently running and what version did you have previous to the upgrade to 9.5.1?
Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Thanks for your help. What is really irritating is that Apple give a big hurray about what they have added as "new" in Pages 5 (most of it pretty useless) without telling you of the myriad things they have deleted. If they had shown the list your gave the link to, I doubt may regular users would risked going to Mavericks with its auto upgrade. My partner got the message in time and is sticking with the earlier operating systems and Pages on Mac and iPad. Lucky girl.
I have found a way to use my iPad to add chapters written while on the move to reports on my iMac Pages 4.3. If I write it on the new Pages on the iMac (don't seem to be able to revert there), the send the report as an email in WORD format (not Pages) and download it in the Text Editor, then cut and paste into the story on the iMac. Hardly elegant but it works.

If the files have been overwritten and you don't have a backup, they're gone.
If they have not been overwritten, then there are third-party apps (for example Techtool Pro 7 ) with data recovery functions that might be able to retrieve some or all of your files.
Backing up is good.

Numbers documents from iOS need Numbers 3.2 on a Mac to open. And Numbers 3.2 requires Mavericks. If you are using Mavericks you can get Numbers 3.2 from the Mac App Store. It will be free IF you have Numbers 2 (iWork '09) installed. Otherwise you must buy it.
Your other option is to send the Numbers file as an Excel file via e-mail to yourself to open with an earlier version of Numbers.

You can't. When you restore from a backup it will restore everything in the backup. You might be able to find a third party app that will allow you to extract individual files from an iTunes backup, but not with an iCloud backup.

If you get an error that says can't backup, try moving the existing backup file to a safe location and thry again. again. You can find the location of the backup file here:

Check the eBay listing. Did it state the device was Activation Locked? If not, then make a claim as Meg stated and get a refund. You will not be able to activate the phone and no one can help you contact the owner, unless that is the person that sold the device. If they cannot remove the phone from their account because it is not theirs, then refund is your route. Even Apple cannot assist with locating the previous owner.

How can I get Firefox to take me back to the last Bookmark folder I was in like Internet Explorer instead of going back to the beginning each time??

When i find a website using bookmarks in Firefox and then I want to look at another site in that same folder, especially in a subfolder, Firefox takes me back to the beginning of the bookmarks menu. With Internet Explorer, it takes me back to the same folder or subfolder I was in. For example, if I was wanting to search newspapers, especially if they are in subfolders, I want to stay in that same place. Firefox loses that place, unlike Internet Explorer, and takes me back to the beginning each time. Sometimes I have several layers of subfolders and it takes time to find that place again each time.

A possibility is to open the Bookmarks Sidebar.
Click the list icon next to the star on the Navigation Toolbar and click "View Bookmarks Sidebar" (Ctrl+B).
