Neither of my iPods will connect to iTunes.. iTunes recognizes that there's an iPod for each.. but that it can't open it in iTunes.. they were both connecting fine prior to the last update. went through the list of trouble shooting.

Since the last update, I iTunes pops up with an error message when I connect both iPods.. the older Nano (4th or 5th generation) will show up as a dirve on Windoes.. but the new Nano (the latest generation) will show up as a dirve until the error message pops up on itunes.. then it dissapearsll.. and both get the same error message.. that itunes detects an ipod, but it can not be identified properly.. it suggest I unplug and replug. (done that several times) or the uninstall and reinstall iTunes (won't work either) .. and the trouble shooting isn't changing anything.

If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

Same thing here. Try putting the brightness down all the way (its hard to see at first but you will get used to it) and one more thing is that close all you open apps. So to do that you have to click the home button twice (after you put your passcode in) and you will see some apps in the bottom. Hold it until there is a red - sign. click all of them so they go away. This does not delete your apps it just makes your ipod better.

I have managed to get FireFox's start-up memory usage down to about 100,000K, however it appears that memory usage keeps creeping up the longer FireFox is open. (It seems to top out around 500,000K.) And I'm not talking open for many hours or days - but rather for minutes and possibly up to a couple hours. (Based on how long I've been fiddling with all this so far.)
On the plus side, it does not appear GreaseMonkey is the culprit since with it active or disabled this memory creep still occurs. Although having GreaseMonkey enabled definitely increases the rate of memory creep. Though once it has creeped up to 150,000+K, disabling GM does not make it drop back down to the starting 100,000K.
I should point out I run a MacBook Pro and use Bootcamp to partition the hard drive and run it as a Windows 7 PC about half the time. I am running it literally as a PC or, alternately, as a Mac depending on which hard drive I choose to load. (I'm not "windowing" it.) This problem exists regardless of whether I am using the PC or the Mac. These repairs have been made currently on the PC side, and I will attempt them all again on the Mac side. I find it odd that this enormous memory drain has occurred on 3 different computers at the same time. (The two "halves" of my home laptop as well as the PC at my work place.)

Did iPhoto come preinstalled on your MBA? Then you need to accept it to your Apple ID. If you have not done so already, sign in with your AplleID and go to the "Purchases" Tab in the App Store. Accept the app by pressing the "Accept" button, Then you should see it offered for update in the Update Panel.

Since I downloaded the last update even the artwork in the itunes store doesn't display how do I get it back?

How to get the last update date

Hi Everyone,
I need to insert into a table the name of the package and date of the last updated version of the execution.
I was thinking in inserting from procedure into a table, the ID and system date into a table.
But I would like to know if there is another way, or better way of doing this.

What i do need is the following:
Once I am inserting/passing some data into a table from an excel file/Database to an Oracle Table in my environment, I do need now to get a record of the last update that has been inserted. And after that I will have to show that date on my screen, but that is something else.
So i have thought of inserting it with a store procedure over a new table that i will have to create or if ODI stores this information somewhere it will be really useful for me to retrieve from there.
In some cases I am passing data from one table to other using store procedures, because there is no link between them, but as this is a new scenario, which is why I am asking if ODI already does this for us, or if I will have to implement it myself.
Hope to be a bit clearer with this explanation.

If it's the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store that aren't working, whilst the built-in apps are ok, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.

If ATV is unplugged and you are still seeing an image that is not coming from ATV.
If the update failed then you will need to connect ATV to a computer with iTunes via a USB cable and restore the software from iTunes.

Ok, I am having literally identical issues with Marathon Max.
I try to connect, and it says, "Itunes could not connect to the itunes store, Make sure your network connection is active and try again." I have contacted my ISP, and they ran a full check, and sayed I should be able to connect to pretty much all websites. I did the whole "ipconfig" thing and that was no help. I also tried the "msconfig" thing, and it sayed it did not recognize it as any kind of command, internal or external command or operable program or batch file. Whats strange is I can connect from another computer just fine, but when offered to upgrade itunes I declined for fear of the same thing happpening. I am tempted to just upgrade it and thus demonstrate that itunes has a flaw in their upgrade. I will save this computers diagnostics, and the other one's too, before and after the upgrade. I look forward to sending more feedback regarding this matter

I've tried my best to troubleshoot. . . opening in safe mode nothing seems to work.

Since I installed iTunes 10.5 I can't play any of my music videos downloaded from the iTunes store.

If you are experiencing intermittent playback or significant network lag with AirPlay or AirPlay Mirroring, it could be due to a weak Wi-Fi connection, interference, or the distance between the Wi-Fi router and your iOS device, Apple TV or AirPort Express. Try the following suggestions:
Ensure that other devices are not trying to stream to the same Apple TV at the same time.
Turn off Bluetooth on your iOS device by tapping Settings > General > Bluetooth.
Ensure that your Wi-Fi router is set up with the recommended settings for the best performance.
Certain external devices, such as microwave ovens and baby monitors, may interfere with a Wi-Fi network. Try moving or disabling these devices.
If possible, try to locate your Wi-Fi router in the same room as your Apple TV and iPhone/iPad.
If your wireless and wired networks are the same, try connecting your Apple TV to the router via Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi.

Neither of my iPods will connect to iTunes.. iTunes recognizes that there's an iPod for each.. but that it can't open it in iTunes.. they were both connecting fine prior to the last update. went through the list of trouble shooting.
