NEO and other car integration for Honda Pilot

Has anyone tried to use the factory music adapter or aftermarket integration units on the 2004 Honda Pilot? I see alot of them available for the 2005-2007 but not the 2004. Also, my main concern is that these units charge the Ipod every time that car starts which will reduce battery life. Can the charging portion of these systems be disabled?

I would strongly advise waiting a bit for the dust to settle before investing in a car solution for the 3G iPhone. There have been a lot of incompatibility complaints from customers with systems that should work with the 3G, let alone the firewire pin issue.
FWIW, I place my iPhone 3G in the dock in my vehicle. I run the audio from the line out to my stereo, and a charger to the dock. Works great, and with my vehicle I have a great place to put the dock. However, I have no controls from my steering wheel or car audio other than volume.

I am a regular user of I-tunes but recently i dont know why but I got some error in Launching I-tunes. So as recomonded by "Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7" section. I started removing the products. But after removing Quick time, I tried to remove Apple Software Update but while uninstalling it gave error that "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." and the uninstall rollbacks.
Please send me a feasible solution to this problem.

Uninstalling the iCloud control panel should allow you to do that folder deletion.

It's a really nice program that converts not only your HOME MOVIE DVD VOB files, but AVI, MPEG, and others. You can set the CPU usage from high to low with five settings, it has a queue which you can add multiple files to, and it will minimize to the taskbar for compact convenience. There are other Windows programs that do much the same, but I prefer Videora. Oh ... and it's freeware!!

Purchased album, one song is missing and others only play for 40 seconds max.

I purchased Emilie Autumn's album "Opheliac (The Deluxe Edition)" last night. The third song ("Liar") is missing, and the other songs play for 40 seconds max. I tried to download the album again, but the Store only tells me my downloads are complete. What's wrong with my album and how will I get it fixed?

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

RAM and other Q's for MSI k7n2g-ilsr

I had a friend buy this board and he got kingston ram and the kingston ram failed on him so he got CERTified samsung ram and i thought IM not paying :O $150 for 512 RAM. X(
I saw the Article about ram recommendations for this board but im paranoid you could say. I want to buy either cosiar 2 sticks of 256(Model#: CMX256A-2700C2 ) or could i get 2 sticks of 512 coaisar ram (Model#: CMX512-2700C2 ) and I want to be able to use onboard video for a while then pick myself up a radeon 9700 or a 9800 pro and have no conflicts ? PLease email me or post a reply . Oh and is this board come with IDE 100 or 133 ?
THe only thing wrong with this board is that the audio connector is in the way if you wanted to put a pci card in that slot. )

Reagarding your memory, don't take my post lightly as most ppl have had major problems when buying cheaper memory for this board...it's up to you what direction you want to go in regards to this...have problems or don't...Mushkin is a great buy for it's stability and O/Cing ability if that's what you're into...
Most of the ppl are rolling the dice with any of the nForce2 boards out there right now being that they're new on the market, if you want assured no problems go with something a bit older and that should be cool...
I wouldn't rely on using the onboard video if you plan on gaming...most are having issues with it...
MSI and ATI are working on a known issue with Radeons and this board right now and hopefully will release a new BIOS to fix it soon...only have problems on the 1.3/3.4 ILSR/IL versions tho...
There are other issues regarding this board, do a search on this forum and you'll read for days heheheh
I did like this board when I had it working tho (I haven't tried to fix it yet so...) it was fast and the sound was great!! Overall I like the board, but you can't skrimp on memory costs or PSU cause this board is power hungry..

Printing to PDF from existing PDFs and other MS programs for Mac

I just purchased Adobe PDF Pack software online because it said it is required if you want the print to PDF function to work from an existing PDF, word or excel, ppt file. Now I don’t see that functionality. Am I missing something or was this software not the correct item to buy? My computer is a Mac OSX Version 10.6.8

With your Adobe PDF Pack subscription, you can convert files to PDF using the CreatePDF service, or convert PDF files to various formats (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others) using the ExportPDF service.
To get started, you log in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com and log in with your Adobe ID and password. The files you convert are stored online in your account, but you can download them to your computer as well.

Vudu and Netflix are streaming services. Netflix is a subscription service, Vudu is a rental service.
Itunes sells and rents content that you download to your computer.

ITunes v7 and Acura car integration

I just updated to the V7 and frankly have found many issues that I do not like. Hopefully Apple keeps updating the software and fixes the new problems. However, once I upgraded, my iPod integration to my Acura TL (factory installed) stopped working. I reinstalled the Acura software and still my car does not recognize the iPOD.
Has anyone else come across this and is there a fix?

Is the Acura part of the Honda family?
I have seen a number of posts from Honda owners who have had similar problems if that's the case try a "honda " search you may find some help

NSS322 (and others) Upgrade Instructions for MOZY users

Beating my head against the wall tonight. Upgrade to 1.5 went fine.
Tried to get over to QNAP and no go.
Long story short, do a 10 Second Reset on your NAS.
Then you will able to upgrade.
Cisco - you should add this to instructions. Across the board, a 10 second reset would probably be a good idea for everyone.
If you actually used the Mozy integration, reset it.
I use QNAP / Elephant Drive at home - LOVE it. Looking forward to getting this client on Elephant Drive Enterprise.

For the two features that are not available on QNAP (Mozy and Cisco Access Now), the best practice should be to deactivate it feature first.... Before transitioning to QNAP firmware.

Car Integration for a video iPod

So now that my ancient iPod mini is finally starting to konk out, my birthday gift to myself next month will be a new iPod. I looove having my iPod on the go, and currently have a Griffin iTrip as well as a Ten Technology FlexibleDock rigged up in my car.
Obviously since I purchased this whole configuration, better products have come out, and I was wondering what everyone used to hook their iPods to their car. All I require is some sort of dock that charges the iPod and puts it within easy reach while I'm driving (I hate having to reach around for it). Other than that, I just want to know whatproduces the best sound quality and is basically easiest to use. I'm pretty open to anything... Thanks for your help!

How do I turn off cc? I'm not hearing-impaired and did not turn it on. Settings page shows it is not turned on, but when watching ABC, USA etc., its there and the buttons within each app to remove it do nothing.

Yes, the captions themselves. Last evening I pulled up an ABC program from the ABC app (not ABC.com), and captions were on. I went to settings page and again turned on then off the captioning option. When I went back to my program, captions were still on but the cc button actually brought up dialog to turn them off. Some possible difference between iPad interpretation of cc data and that of the app for the broadcaster? Was never able to get rid of it Sunday on a USA replay.

RSA SecurID and Cisco ACS integration for user(s) with enable mode

I thought I had this problem figured out but I guess not.
I have a Cisco 2621 router with IOS 12.2(15)T17. Behind the
router is a Gentoo linux, RSA SecurID 6.1 and Cisco ACS 3.2.
I use tacacs+ authentication for logging into the Cisco router
such as telnet and ssh. In the ACS I use "external user databases"
for authentication which proxy the request from the ACS over
to the RSA SecurID Server. I installed RSA Agents with
sdconf.rec file on the Cisco ACS server. I renamed "user group 1"
to be "RSA_SecurID" group. In the "External user databases" and
"database configurations" I assign SecurID to this "RSA_SecurID"
group.
Everything is working fine. In the "User Setup" I can see dynamic
user test1, test2,...testn listed in there as "dynamic users". In
other words, I can telnet into the router with my two-factor
SecurID.
The problem is that if test1 wants to go into "enable" mode with
SecurID login, I have to go into "test1" user setting and select
"TACACS+Enable Password" and choose "Use external database password".
After that, test1 can go into enable mode with his/her SecurID
credential.
Well, this works fine if I have a few users. The problem is that
I have about 100 users that I need to do this. The solution is
clearly not scalable. Is there a setting from group level that
I can do this?

That is not what I want. I want user "test1" to be able to do this:

In other words, test1 user has to type in his/her RSA token password to get
into exec mode. After that, he/she has to use the RSA token password to
get into enable mode. Each user can get into "enable" mode with his/her
RSA token mode.
The way you descripbed, it seemed like anyone in this group can go directly
into enable mode without password. This is not what I have in mind.

How to diable only one field enabled and other fields disabled for one user group?

I have a form contains many fields. A group of users can add items using that form.
As per the user requirement I have created a filtered view and that filtered view can be seen by some other sharepoint user group but as per their further requirement the new sharepoint user group is only allowed to update Remarks field. All other fields
should be disabled for them.
In my idea, I have to create multiple forms and in one of it except Remarks field all should be disabled but I am unable to assign multiple forms to a single list.
Or how to make Remarks field enable to this user group and for other admin user group all fields could be enabled.
Hope I have expressed my question correctly.
Any solution would be appreciated.

There is no Out of the Box way to set permissions on each column, primarily due to the performance impact. The following thread provides some options,
