Has anyone had any issues with OCZ value memory and the neo4? This is the memory.... (OCZ4002048V3DC-K)

A friend of mine is using OCZ value ram pc3200 and she has not had any problems. Her pc is neo4 plat 3000v venice. not O/C'ed.

So, I have 4GB Ocz Rally2 Turbo memory stick, and it won't mount in the computer. My other 1GB Fujitsu Siemens and 32GB Verbatim USB sticks work.
This is brand new, 2 weeks old laptop. And it seems to be a problem in the hardware.
Windows 7 64bit.
Should I just send it to Money Back repair/warranty ?!?!

Have you already tested this USB stick on another computer or notebook? Maybe the new USB stick is defective and so it doesnt work.
At the moment I doubt its a problem of your notebook because other USB sticks are working properly.
At least it could be a compatibility problem between USB stick and notebook but test it on another computer first.

One thread adding/updating value and other thread getting values....issue

am using a spring bean (singleton) and this is how it looks like

The issue here is that when getOutstandingAlerts is invoked by a thread,some other thread(Spring) calling the pollDatabase method might be updating the value.Please give me some idea and solution to get around this issue.
I was thinking of creating a copy of alerts instance variable in the getOutstandingAlerts method and then use the copy to find the key and return the alert for that operator id.This way we dont have to worry about data conflict.

Let's start from the beginning: So I built my PC in July and ever since I've been having on and off BSODs with the Vertex 3 drive. Mostly they'll happen once a week. When I first built the machine my drive came with Firmware 2.06. I installed all the drivers from MSI's website as well as the latest Intel Rapid Storage Drivers. Eventually I flashed the SSD to 2.11 when it was released but still had similar issues. Hotplugging was enabled when I installed Windows 7 for the first time AND when I flashed to 2.11 from 2.06. Some members over on the OCZ boards stated this might have been the cause of the BSOD. Basically the PC froze, BSOD'd, restarted, and then the system couldn't detect the drive. I had to power the system down, remove the power cable, wait 10 seconds, re-connect the cable and power on the PC. After I did this Windows booted normally.
I received some advice on the OCZ forums to reset CMOS and leave hotplugging disabled. Then re-flash the drive to 2.11 with hotplugging disabled. Some members thought this would make the drive act like an internal drive, not an external drive. However, a week after doing this the same BSOD appeared. I've started from scratch last week by secure erasing the drive and re-installing Windows, but same issues. I noticed MSI released a new BIOS for my board in July. I have the one from April currently.
Is it worth upgrading my BIOS? The listed fixes don't say anything about SSDs.

Hit enter and close CMD.EXE down, reboot
This will now force the 2 sata 3 ports to Internal only, this means they will apply LPM if you set it and will support Automatic Partial to slumber.
I now suggest you experiment with power schemes, for some high performance may work better than balanced...try both
You also need to make sure hotplugging is disabled in uefi do this first before you do any of these regedits etc
If you want to go a step further than this you can try the following...ONLY do this after you have done the steps above.
remove the SSD to start
1 create a temporary win7 install on a hdd, use the msahci driver and once installed do the hack to force the 2 ports to internal only. Have the hdd connected to port 1 on the motherboard.
2 once the install is ready and you have installed toolbox to it power down and connect the SSD to port 0
3 now boot to the HDD, use the manual boot menu option to make sure you are booting to the HDD and make sure hotplugging is OFF in UEFI
4 once in win7, flash the FW to the drive, when its finished flashing, close toolbox, reboot back to the HDD and back into win7...make sure the SSD is detected in my computer.
5 now power off, remove the HDD...then boot to UEFI and make sure to set the SSD as first boot device
6 Power up, boot to the SSD
Stay using the MSAHCI driver for now, do not install any INF, IME or RST drivers.

Had a few end users quoting disabling TRIM solved BSOD for them...now im not saying it will solve BSOD for all but it may be worth trying. Remember the SandForce controller was originally designed without TRIM in mind, it functions just fine without it so you should see no loss of performance. If you want to help the controller stay fast you could always add some extra over provisioning by reducing the volume on the drive and leaving that space unallocated...totally up to you what you do though....
I like 25% OP on my drives, this means if I have a 120 with 115GB showing in windows I lose 15GB to OP and use 100GB for the volume....
A forum member wrote a little script to enable /disable trim...he wrote in support for wiper for Indilinx drives also...just ignore that part and use the TRIM function only...

Again....not saying this cures any BSOD but a few end users have said they disabled TRIM and issues went away...anything I have suggested here is totally reversible and will do no harm to your systems.
If this doesn't work and I get a BSOD after a week I'll disable TRIM and if that doesn't work I have no idea. OCZ said they're working on a new firmware release so who knows. I just hate feeling like I am a beta tester.

These are the 1.5V Vengeance RAM Modules. Tried installing 2 of the RAM on slots 2 and 4 on their own. System Boots Fine.
Went into the BIOS and changed the voltage applied to the RAM modules from
AUTO to 1.575V. On AUTO it says is applying 1.5V to the 2x 4GB modules.
Installed the full 4x RAM on all slots... and the system just shuts down. Power cycling again.
What do you think here? Bad Motherboard? Can't think of anything else to try... totally stumped!

Exception while defining value attribute/View configuration issue

I have checked source code of mentioned class, reference of CL_BSP_WD_MIXED_NODE class is coming after adding value attribute .

I would really appriciate your reply on this as how can I avoid this exception? Do I need to redfine this method?

Can't boot Arch for installation. USB stick issue.

I got stuck. I tried to install arch on my dekstop, but booting Arch from USB stick freezes in same point, after running hooks. I tried with two usb sticks, new iso etc. Ubuntu was installed before without any problem from the same stick.
It freezes after showing:
Waiting 30 seconds for device /dev/disk/by-label/ARCH_201108 ...

In some attempts I also got this:
ata_id[12376]: HDIO_GET_IDENTITY failed for '/dev/sdb': Invalid argument

Problem is sovled, but the solution is really courious.
In fact, there was no issue with usb stick. Display freezes on first showed lines and does not follow the rest. Arch booted successfully but I cannot notice that, because I still see first lines (messages from first post were just warnings). Switching FullHD, 16:9 monitor to old 3:4 display solved the problem.
It's really strange. Should I report it somewhere?

How can I convert HEX value to CHAR value.
The Code in non Unicode system is:
DATA: t_text LIKE tline OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
constants: c_hex_20a5(2) TYPE x VALUE '20A5'.
t_text-tdline = 'seller of the item so listed. A legend of the Seller Code(s) is as'.
 TRANSLATE t_text-tdline USING c_hex_20a5.
The same code give error in Uni-Code system:
error is "c_hex_20a5 must be an character type object (C, N, D, T or String type)."
If anyone know, what is the solution, please let me know.

Try declaring the Hex chars using the ABAP char utilities. This is just a sample piece of code on how to declare and use:
CLASS cl_abap_char_utilities DEFINITION LOAD.
DATA: ws_lf TYPE c VALUE cl_abap_char_utilities=>cr_lf.
data: c_newline TYPE x VALUE '0D'. [ it is zero D, for carriage return ]
ws_lf = c_newline.
 CONCATENATE it_tab-maktx

Wouldn't it be easier to use a Set which does not allow duplicates? That would nip the problem at the source rather than bringing it all the way to the jsp and not displaying it.
However if you have to have it this way, there is no easy way to break out of a loop in logic tags. Maybe some murky servlet code with a break command in scriptlets would do the trick, but you really have to scour the source code to confirm that.

Web service Task - Value pair as variable issue

firstly .. I not an .net Developer.
We have scenario in which I have a execute SQL task which sends a set of rows with two columns as an variable (object) to a for each loop container.The for each loop container has the web service task and each time it runs.
The web service task accepts allows/accepts a single variable but I need to provide the above two columns as pair to this complex type.....any help is appriciated....

3rd ssis variable should be string.
The input variables have to be specified in the ReadOnlyVariables property. The output result variable has to be specified in the ReadWriteVariables property.
inside the script task
Dts.Variables("variable3").Value = Dts.Variables("variable1").Value.ostring() +Dts.Variables("variable2").Value.tostring();
Make sure before you are concatenating, both the values in the variable1 and variable2 should be string.

Stickies Issues

Yesterday, I noticed that all my Stickies were deleted from my iMac (Snow Leopard). I checked my Stickies Database to see if I could recover any files, and that too was blank. I checked my Time Machine Backups and went through to the latest backup and found the files. Today, they disappeared again. I checked all my Time Machine Backups and all the Stickies Database files were also deleted. However, the Stickies file was found here http://tinypic.com/r/8vngpi/5 . I tried to move the file into the Backups.updb folder, but that didn't work either.
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Have you done a Repair Disk on both?
Can you look to see what is in that file?
Can you move it to your internal drive?

Programmatic changes to textbox values won't stick...

Using BC4J I have created textboxes that are bound to the Oracle backend. When data is entered or edited manually the app sees the change and activates the save and rollback arrow icons.
Code behind my buttons can change the data in the bound textboxes but the changes don't cause the save and rollback icons to activate. If any controls on the page are then manually edited the programmatic changes disappear. I know this is because the mSomeAttribute.setText("somevalue") isn't connecting to the bound data sets (rowset ?) but I have been unable to find where/how to access such bindings.
I can see the in the *RowImpl.java methods the get<someattribute>() and set<SomeAttribute>() functions, but I am not able to access these 'accessors' in in the Form java script, only the constants that reflect the field nnumber for the attributes.
So, how do I connect programmatically to the attributes in a way that the modified data is seen by the bindings?

You want to change the value in the view-row, not in the text box.
Certainly one way to get access to this (all from memory, so the method names might be slightly out) is to get the application module from the panelBinding and then find the view from the application module and then get the current row from the view. Er, i.e.
Row row = panelBinding.getApplicationModule().findViewObject("the-name-of-the-view-to-which-you-bound-the-control").getCurrentRow();
Then you can use the set / get methods you spoke about. (Strictly speaking, from the client-tier you should generally be using the Row interface rather than the RowImpl class.)
However, I wonder whether a more encapsulated way of getting access to the view-row is to start with the control and get the row via some ControlBinding or other. Only I'd have to dig around myself to work out how to do that so I'll leave it to someone else....

i'm trying to put more than one value in one column, so i have next problem:
1. Query select cr_pjid from acc_users where username='ACCBTPS121' give result
CR_PJID
'26','63'2. Query select * from acc_accbtp_nova_view where ed_id=2 and to_char(pj_id) in ('26','63'); return 186 rows.
3. Query: select * from acc_accbtp_nova_view where ed_id=2 and
              to_char(pj_id) in (select cr_pjid
              from acc_users
              where username='ACCBTPS121'); doesn't return any row... :(
