Neo4 Plat Wont recognize any keyboard!

Just put my computer together
msi neo4 plat
1 gig(2x512) pc4400 mushkin
ati x800xl
audigy2 zs
AMD 3200+ Venice
OCZ power stream 520
It boots but it gets stuck on the the "hit del to enter bios" screen. Only thing is it wont recognize any keyboard i hook up to it, usb or serial.
This is my first msi board, decided to go with it over what i usually get, asus, so far im pretty disapointed.
Is this board faulty?

I had about the same issue with my platinum neo4. It had the battery at 2.2V (measured) and the bios showed 1.2V for the battery.
I wasn't able to save bios settings (blank screen when I did) and returned it to the shop. They're still investigating and probably give me some feedback tomorrow. I still want the same MSI board because it ran very smooth for about a week and hope this issue will be solved somehow.

heres a good test, turn on computer keep tapping f12 and boot menu will show
insert recovery media
choose cd/dvd press enter, if it loads recovery media outside windows you driver is functional only xp or vista has problem but if wont load media then your disc drive has problem it will be hardware and you need to get a new one

My mac wont recognize any of my devices

I have recently updated my phone from a 4 to iphone5 and was in the process of trying to transfer pics from old phone to mac. Now my mac will not recognize any of my devices finder, image capture, iphoto....it does however show up in itunes when plugged in. It has been really frustrating I just want to be able to import my pics from my old phone to iphoto and it is not recognizing any of the devices i plug in. Any help would be much appreciated.

Wont recognize any CD's

i upgraded my mac from OS X 10.2 to 10.4 and now the mac can't recognize any cd's. i tried games, music cd's, and dvd's, all of which worked before. i really need help!!

What happens when you try to boot normally?
What model Mac do you have. The model type can be found in the System Information.
It sounds like it might be a graphic card issue. If you're running Lion or later Boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down), select Disk Utility and repair both disk and disk permissions. Then try to reboot normally.

Itunes wont recognize any devices

Why doesn't itunes recognize any of my devices. This just started happening, never had a problem before.

Logic wont recognize Suzuki keyboard

I have a Suzuki SP-40e keyboard and a Sanoxy USB to MIDI cable. Logic Pro X or GarageBand won't recognize. I just recently got this keyboard, and I used to have a Yamaha with that cable that both worked fine with Logic. Any solutions as to why this wouldn't be showing up?

Opinion: Quite why people buy these cheap external devices with a Mac and expect them to work perfectly... is beyond me...
As has been often said before.. it's akin to buying a $300K Ferrari and then putting $100 tires on it.. Sure they will work, kind of... but they will reduce the performance of your Ferrari to that of a $30K Kia.....

Mini wont recognize Microsoft keyboard (Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000

Hello,
I just purchased a Mac Mini, and tried to connect a Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000 keyboard, one of their most advanced hardware options. The device connects to the Mac Mini via a single USB socket, and controls a wireless mouse and wireless keyboard via Bluetooth.
When I turned the Mac Mini on for the first time, it recognized the mouse, but not the keyboard. After selecting the language, I get a warning that the keyboard is not recognized, then it goes to a page asking me to hit the key next to the left Shift key. But after I hit that key, it just sits there with the message "Identifying your keyboard..."
I checked the Microsoft support site for any information about connecting the Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000 to Mac equipment, but they don't seem to have any information on that topic. The device works fine with an older Windows XP system, without requiring any special drivers, so it should appear as a regular USB mouse & keyboard to the hardware.
Is there any way to debug the installation of this device at boot-time, before it fails at the auto-detection?

Microsoft doesn't offer Mac support for that particular setup. Just XP and Vista support.
I knows that one might think that "Bluetooth is Bluetooth..." - But I have found that that isn't the case.
They do offer setups that are Mac-able. So does Kensington ... and others.

Recovered M92p Tiny stuck at "Press F1..." screen and won't recognize any keyboard

I am working on an M92p Tiny for a friend. I restored it to factory settings and booted Windows 7 Pro just fine. I let the Lenovo software try to install a BIOS update and it failed. After clearing the CMOS it was still giving me a blank screen. So I did the recovery process with the latest BIOS on a USB drive plugged in. All I ever saw was a blank screen but after 2-3 minutes the machine shutdown like it was supposed to. I moved the CMOS jumper back to pins 1-2 and booted the machine, and it boots to a screen that says to press F1 to setup or F2 to continue. However, none of the four USB keyboards I have are recognized when I press F1 or F2 on them. On all the keyboards, the num lock light stays on after plugging them in, but pressing F1 or F2 at that screen does nothing. Any ideas how to solve this?

I would try wiping the entire Hard Drive first and then reinstalling the Operating System as this may get around this issue.
Download and install Killdisk on the link below - ( despite the name, this application will just write zeros to the entire drive leaving it in a similar state to a new Hard Drive ).

Download and install ImgBurn on the link below.

Go to the Kill Disk application you have installed in All Programs, open the main folder, then select Bootable Disk creators and from that select Bootable DOS CD Creator which will burn the bootable ISO to a blank CD.
During the next process do not worry about any warnings as your Recovery DVDs will reformat the HDD.
Insert this CD in to your PC that is unable to load Operating System properly. Shut the PC down, then start it again to boot from the Killdisk CD and follow the on screen instructions for Kill Disk.
A brief description of the process is here Killdisk.
Use this to wipe the whole of the Hard Drive, highlight (80h) and press f10 ( you will also have to type a confirmation and hit enter ) - ( this will make sure you include all partitions and then start the process - this may take a couple of hours! ).
When the process is complete, remove the Killdisk CD, insert your first HP Recovery Disc and try the installation again.

Windows Vista wont recognize any generation Ipod. Not charging unless windows is booted off.

When I plug in any genration Ipod in windows, it dosent make the chime like other devices. Nothing is showing up in device manger, ITunes, or My computer. For all intsesive purpse it's like nothing is plugged in there. Also, it only charges when windows is turned off but power supply on. I tried 4 differnt cables and 3 differnt Ipods. A Touch, A Nanno, Classic, and a Shuffle. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes. I made sure the power on the USB is set to on.
Any further help would be nice.

4th gen ipod photo wont recognize any connection

I fully discharged my ipod recently when the battery was near dead. I went to plug it in this morning to charge/update it and my comp wouldnt recognize a new connection, nor would my ipod even get a charging status. I then used a wall adapter and its still nto charging. I cant get it to reset, power on, or show a charge icon. what do you think is wrong?

Lenovo Miix 2 11 wont recognize any SD cards

I have two Lenovo Miix 2 devices. One device will not read any SD cards. I have even tried formatting and using Miix SD cards from my working Miix and no luck.
Am I missing a driver? What is going on?

If you open Macintosh HD > Applications > Image Capture and insert an SD card does it show up?
Does the same issue occur with multiple SD cards?
If you put an SD card in and go to Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > System Profiler > Card Reader do you see card information (as below) or just "Built in SD Card Reader":
Try:
Reset the SMC and then test: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964.
Reset the PRAM and then test: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.6/en/26871.html.
Remove the contents of Macintosh HD > Library > Caches to the trash and restart the computer and test.
Assuming you are running 10.6.8 as your profile indicates, install the combo update and test: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399

UPDATED MY ITUNES NOW IT WONT RECOGNIZE ANY OF MY DEVICES. I FOLLOWED ALL THE STEPS TO FIX IT ON THIS SITE AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK.

Wont recognize any disk

So my roommate has a G4, only 2 years old. One day he opened it up and there was just the mac symbol on the screen. He put the install disk in and tried to reinstall the OS. However, when it came to the screen of where to install the software, there was no disk shown. It is like the hard drive just up an vanished like a **** in the wind. Help please!!

Hmm I dont seem to find those figures on WD webpage but ok I trust you as this have been some of my concerns too when this fault happened.
Only thing I find about the powersupply to this videocard is that you need 400W PSU, so you say I would need a 700-800watts PSU for the system to run smoothly?? (not studied the amps/volts needed so much as I usually get more then I need, but since this is a build in somewhat desperation(due to many factors) maybe this went completely wrong )
EDIT: ok based on Amps/Volts I guess this should do it Corsair CX 400W about double amps on this one if not more.

My x41 2525-6nu wont recognize any 2.0 usb devices

whenever i plug in a usb 2.0 device it says "there are no high speed usb host controllers installed on this computer"

is it possible that you don't have USB 2.0? I'm not sure what X41's come with. I would have thought it would be 2.0, but maybe you only have USB 1.1, in which case I don't think you can fix this. If you do have 2.0, then it is a software issue (hopefully). Try plugging into a different port and see what it says
