Nervous setting up my new PB (Am I doing something wrong HELP)

Question

Sigh....I've been a mac user for a long time so I know I shouldn't be panicking but it's been a while since I've had to set up a computer from scratch. (This ol' mac lasted me 8 years!)
Plugged in my spankin' new pb and saw the step up assistant and got scared. I don't have my pb hooked up to the internet or my old mac. Is there a disadvantage if I don't transfer my files or set up my internet connection right now? Will running the transfer migration and network assistant do everything that this initial set up assistant would do?
I panicked and tried to turn off the pb and found out that I couldn't, all I could get it to do is go to sleep by closing the Pb. Why is that? Is that doing any harm to my shiny new pb?
PS. What's the difference between an aluminium Pb and a titanium one?

No worries Wendy. There's no disadvantage that I know of in proceeding as you described, and you can even choose to run the Setup Assistant later, whenever you feel up to it, whenever you're ready to transfer files and/or connect to the internet. (You can find the Setup Assistant in Applications > Utilities.) Or, as you suggested, you can use the Migration Assistant to transfer files from your old computer to your shiny new one.

I don't know exactly why that is, but I'm fairly confident it's not doing your new PB any harm. If I remember correctly, there's a way to tell Setup Assistant that you'll connect to the internet (and/or transfer files) later, and the setup assistant will skip those steps.

PS Apart from differences in their specifications and locations of the various ports, the difference betwen the Titanium and the Aluminum PowerBooks is in composition of the casing -- the Titanium PB's casings are made of TIantium (or TItanium alloy) and the Aluminum PB's casings are made of an anodized aluminum (or aluminum composite).
