Nested Composition isn't showing up correctly

I'm making a large animation as a project to bring my drawing, animation, and story telling skills together. Well I just got started, no more than 2 actual minutes of my short film and I've noticed one of my nested compositions is not showing up properly. I rendered out the part to see if it would display correctly then and it did not. All of my compositions are separate After Effects files in the same folder on my external hard drive. I bring each individual short composition into one (in this case Scene 1 composition) and that's where the issue occurs.
Right now I'm working with 3 compositions and 3 project files, Intro, Opening, and Scene 1. Scene 1 will contain Intro and Opening. When importing Intro and Opening to Scene 1, Opening does not show up correctly with one of the text animations being off. Looking at Opening in it's original project file it is correct. The text animation that shows up incorrectly came from a preset animation called Pulse Orange.ffx. The animation was slightly altered to give the desired effect (changed color and the rate of the pulse).
Here are two screen shots showing the exact same time of the clip, but one is a nested composition and the other is the original project file. The top one is how it should appear and the bottom one is the incorrect one. These are at the same time in both, just different project files.

If there is more information you need to know then just ask. I put what thought to be relevant, and I go back and forth between many computers so I can only put down information for the one I'm currently using (my windows 7). And yes this same thing happens between all the other computers I use, and not just this one. I've tried and recreated the Scene 1 file many times.

There is a stroke applied to it, that was part of the Pulse Orange.ffx preset animation that I tweaked to get that far.
Anyway I was able to fix it on another computer that also showed the animation incorrectly. And I have no idea what "UU" is.... But I was able to solve the problem after tinkering for a couple hours, thanks for your help anyway.

How can I show/hide a nested composition during entire video?

I cannot figure out how to hide a nested composition/layer during the main composition. I want to hide it at the beginning, show it during part of the video, and then hide it for the rest of the time. How is this done? Is there a better way of doing this? You can treat a nested composition or a precomp in the same way you treat any footage. You can split the layer (Ctrl/Cmnd + Shift + D), or simply duplicate the layer (Ctrl/Cmnd + D) and adjust the in our out points of the duplicate (Alt/Option + [ or ]), set keyframes for opacity (T). This is extremely basic stuff. Have you read Todd's Getting Started with After Effects?
If you just want to show or hide a layer and still keep it in the composition then you use the shy switch. The shy switch has nothing to do with layer visibility, it just makes it easier at times to navigate around the timeline.

There is the right One already preentered. From there it switches back to the former mask (appleID +password) and nothing happens. If you say Log in again, ist just switches between those masks without showing an error claim nor logging in. Strange thing is ist worked proppperply till a few days ago.......

If you get to step 3 I recommend closing ALL the apps.
Here is step 1 to get you started.
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

Upgraded to 5.0 and now more fonts aren't showing up correctly

I had a previous problem with a colon not appearing correctly on websites and instead, I got FF 1A. Initially it looked like FF IR but FF 1A is the unicode or UTF font for that being it is a wider colon than normal.
I downloaded every font set I could find, even things that are odd shaped things I couldn't possibly ever use and the colon problem was taken care of, but then certain things in email started showing up with an FF 1A, or something else for that unicode and now that I've upgraded to 5.0, a lot more websites are showing these instead of the actual letters, numbers, or punctuation marks.
I even have Fontfinder installed but it isn't much help. I never had this problem until version 4.0.1 I don't know what else to do. I have Unicode UTF-8 for the character encoding because that is what fixed the colon problem, but now I'm having trouble with more characters.
I can't read the boxes, like I could for the colon FF 1A, but on this website

Before each episode there are several boxes and each has a different set of numbers and letters and I zoomed in as much as I could and still can't make them out "魔女エスパー The Witch Esper" I can't tell if the first one is 98 54 or 9B 54. But there are several of these on this website, and I don't know what other fonts to try and install.
They are messed up in Internet Explorer, but most of them are just boxes with nothing in them, but I know this is support for Mozilla Firefox only and I don't really use Internet Explorer.
I can't seem to get online when someone in "Live Help" is available and there isn't a phone number to reach anyone in Support so I am very frustrated because these problems weren't happening before version 4 or 5 and I can't find any more fonts that would help. I believe "Wingdings" are automatically installed with Windows-XP, but these missing characters are supposed to be letters, numbers or punctuation marks, and they aren't showing up correctly, so windings wouldn't matter anyways and I am at my wits end.
I have never had a problem with any computer until now and I even reformatted and did every single update available for Windows-XP and even the ones that are still coming out.

It's so frustrating because it is messing up reading email and doing surveys that I didn't have this problem with before using versions 4 or 5.
In my "Windows\Fonts" folder, I have 375 files over 41 MB so I don't know what to do. I'm about ready to throw the computer out the window being I can't respond properly to an email or do surveys, if I can't read the letters.
4.0.1 was was a clean install after I had to reformat a couple weeks ago but 5.0 was an update that I just did tonight.

Thanks one again. I know you helped me the last to. I do have the Deja Vu font set in my folder. I downloaded and the last time. So I don't know if there is supposed to be more or not, but those were installed with Windows-XP after my reformat.
This is really driving me nuts. as I've done several re-formats on my computer and several friends computers and even upgraded hardware so I am not necessarily a software or programming expert, I am somewhat advanced when it comes to computers in general and can usually diagnose the problem but these font's are the problem and they never were before.
I did see in another forum that if you had a Dell Computer and did the Microsoft update for the onboard video card driver that it could be the culprit, but I have that disabled being I have a much better graphics card so the updates from Microsoft for the onboard video weren't installed.
It' a Dell Dimension 3000 with an Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller so I don't believe it is the culprit being it is disabled. The actual video card that I am using is a PCI Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT with 1 GB Memory. And I didn't have any problem before.
I appreciate the help. But still can't get things to work. Live Help Chat doesn't open for another two hours so maybe they can do "Remote Access" or something and can check setting and help me. But if you come up with other suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

I registered my new iPhone 5s to my usual Apple ID, however it isn't showing in my devices when I log in. I tried to register it by adding a new device, but it tells me it's already registered to a different Apple ID. I'm really not sure how to fix this.

I only have the one Apple ID and the phone is brand new, purchased directly from Apple.
When I check on the phone itself (iCloud and App Store settings) the Apple ID is correct. I'm not sure where else to check.
Whilst setting up the phone, it prompted me to register, which I did. Then when connecting to my laptop through iTunes it prompted me again so I registered again. I even got a confirmation email to the email address associated with my Apple ID that the registration was successful.
How can I add my iPhone 5s to the list of devices on the correct Apple ID?

Most of the triggers in my composition are not showing there active state

I have a composition with 18 triggers.
Each trigger has a b/w image that should turn to a colour image when active or rolled over but only the two on the 3rd row work correctly.
The others do change when rolled over but when I roll off, even when still active they go back to their normal state.
Also when the composition plays through only the same two triggers will show the correct active state whilst active.

I figured it out. all trigger also have a link to another page on the site, all but two anyway.
so the triggers states are reacting as if it is just a link rather than it being a trigger in a composition.
does somebody know a way that will allow me to have the triggers states react the way i want and for the triggers to act as a link?

I have had this problem several times lately: I cannot open a downloaded pdf file. The error message reads: "The file couldn't be opened because it isn't in the correct format." But, of course, it is a pdf file.

My MacBook Pro (2.5 Ghz Intel Core i5) is running OS X 10.9.4. Here is what happens when reading an online user manual that I want to save to the Desktop and read later as a PDF file on my iPad or phone. With Safari I will select "Export As PDF" and the file shows up on the desktop. Even after multiple trials, there will be a dialogue box indicating the file cannot be opened. If I check the file info, the size is "zero." Trying to save the file as a pdf using the Print menu yields the same results. I have tried both of these methods using Preview, Adobe Reader, and PDF Pen Pro. This strange behavior also occurred several weeks ago and I finally abandoned the effort. But when the same thing happens twice, it becomes an issue that needs to be resolved.

The correct answers are displayed after the quiz is completed and the user Reviews the quiz. If you want the correct answer to be revealed to the user in the quiz, then you will need to customize the feedback messages to state the correct answer. They are just text boxes on the slides, so you should be able to easily add text to them.

Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?
If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

I exported my iBook and got the .ibooks file on my Desktop(iMac Retina 5K), I tried to put the file into the iBooks application but I get a message that says "The file "______.ibooks" couldn't opened because it isn't in the correct format.

I took the same file and transferred it in my MacBook Air and was able to put it in the iBooks application no problem, the MacBook Air runs OS X v 10.9.5
Please advise as to Why it would work on an older OS X version as oppose to the newer OS X Yosemite

I may be doing something wrong because looking at the "Purchased" in iBooks I only see all the books that I actually purchased, none of the iBooks that I created in iBooks Author shows up. I can re-download all the iBooks I've purchased and some in iCouds, but the ones I've created in iBooks Author are no where to be found.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I think the issue is here:
Composite nestedComposite = new Composite(scrollcomposite, SWT.BORDER);
This is not really a nestedComposite to top.
Composite nestedComposite = new Composite(top, SWT.BORDER);
With this the nested composite should show up.
Also ScrolledComposite does not take a layout so adding multiple composite to it does not work.

I mostly use technology for education and professional audiovisuals and lights.
I don't sync music because I use music from at least 4 different computers. (manually mange music)
I use my iPad to play performance tracks for church and a local gospel group out of our church, Won4Christ.
I chose to buy the iPad because the laptop of one of the group members (dellxps running iTunes) was randomly losing and mixing up music and I wanted a more stable option that was bigger than my iPod touch.
I tried to add some data to music libraries that I previously added to my iPad, but the data only shows up when looking at the device in iTunes.
Wifi sync has not worked on either my laptop or desktop ( both running windows 7 enterprise 64 and newest iTunes) not really a big issue, but very annoying
When browsing through library playlist albums on the iPad, random artwork shows up on playlists with no artwork that you touch while dragging, and it does not go away until you change to another navigation tab and back.
Random songs out of hundreds that I added showed up in iTunes grayed out with a sync circle beside them. Those songs would play back okay on the iPad but were unplayable through the iTunes device view. I had to delete the songs manually through the library along with the playlist and add them again.
These seem to be major stability bugs in the "new" music app and iTunes. My only option right now seems to be to delete the songs that I want to change and re-add them with the changes already applied rather than changing the id3 tags and artwork on the existing music. I hope apple will release updates to resolve these issues.

You and your partner might have different browsers, different versions of the same browser, or most likely a fervent version of the PDF plug-in.
See if just clicking on the Enter key sends the form in.
