Nested table too wide in IE7, fine everywhere else

I have a table nested into a table cell in a pretty much
straight HTML page. It renders fine in Safari and Firefox Mac, and
in Firefox Win. The nested table renders about 25 pixels too wide
in IE7. Can't check IE6 because my install overwrote v.6 when I
tried to prevent that.
The page is at:
http://www.monsoondigital.com/client/brotherton/index.html.
The problem table (or the cell that contains it) contains all
of the body content on the page: left column graphics, vertical
separator, body text, and right column graphic. The tops of the
cells each contain 1-pixel tall spacer GIFs to establish the column
widths. Need some help with getting the width to behave. I've
already retabled this thing three different ways. I'm stuck. HELP!
(running IE7 on XP Pro SP2. Built in DW MX Mac.)
Jeff

I am not seeing any difference in the two browsers

  • Wiki Tables Too Wide

    Is there a way to control the width of the wiki pages? I have several tables that are too wide for the wiki, so information runs off the edge. Other than not looking very good, it's not much of a problem unless I try to print something. Then, things get cut off.
    I'm not much of a programmer, so if anyone has some basic instructions that may help me widen the page, I'd appreciate it.
    Thanks, Greg

    How about a CC such as.....
    <!--[if lte IE 6]><style>#main_content{width:
    720px; overflow:
    auto;}</style><![endif]-->
    I know it gives a hor scrollbar but I think it looks better

  • Please Help!  Audio off on imported .mp4 files (but fine everywhere else).

    Hello,
    I am trying to trouble shoot a problem.  I am a beginner when it comes to the technical end of this so please forgive me if I don’t post the correct information.  Hopefully somebody here can help or point me in the right direction.
    My problem is this:  I’m using Skype on my (windows 7 ultimate) pc to make group video calls.  I use Skype along with the program Evaer in order to record the video and audio of each person on the call separately.  It records it using the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Codec.  At 1280 X 720 and 30fps.  The video files have the audio in them as well.  However it also records a separate .mp3 with everyones audio at 265 BitRate and 48000 SampleRate.  So after the group call (with 3 people) is finished I will have three .mp4 video files w/ audio (1 for each person on the call) and 1 .mp3 file.  If I open any of the video files in Windows Media Play they play just fine.  But when I bring the file into Adobe Premiere CS6 for editing, the audio is completely off.  What can I do to fix this?
    I did “interperate footage” for the file and this is what it shows:
    File Path: F:\VIDEO RECAP\ call1.mp4
    Type: MPEG Movie
    File Size: 1.3 GB
    Image Size: 1280 x 720
    Frame Rate: 28.47
    Source Audio Format: 16000 Hz - compressed - Stereo
    Project Audio Format: 32000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo
    Total Duration: 00;57;55;04
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0
    I want to edit this in HD.  So the project setting I choose is “HDV 720p30fps”.  I import my file, and then drag it into to the time line.  It says that the sequence settings are wrong, and so I tell it to change them automatically (I have also to it to leave them) either way it doesn’t matter.  When I play back the video .mp4 in Premiere CS6 the audio is completely off.
    So is there some setting I need to tweak?  Is it the project settings that are wrong?  Or could it be a problem with my graphics, and sound card?  I just dont understand why it plays fine in WMP but not in Adobe.  Any help or advice would be truly appreciated.  If you need any more info, just let me know.
    Thanks!

    Is there any more info that would help you guys?  I still cant figure this out.

  • Zwaygi font not displaying in input fields (fine everywhere else)

    I am working on a two language website www.eprpinformation.org. The Myanmar version automatically changes the font family for body text to Zwaygi-One which work wonderfully well on IE, Chrome and Firefox.
    Except, that is, for input fields. For some reason these display the unknown font characters even though looking at the css for the input, the correct font family is being applied. Please see screenshot >> http://eprpinformation.org/images/firefox-zwaygi-font-issue.jpg.
    Any help would be appreciate.
    Mark

    If I paste some text in the search bar and text fields on the Help Desk page then a right-click and Inspect shows that the Zawgyi-One is used for Myanmar text (I pasted the Zawygi Font text: တိုင္းရင္းသား).
    I haven't made changes to the default font as that shouldn't be necessary.
    At least on Linux where I am it shows that for input field font-family: -moz-use-system-font; is used, so it is possible that the selected system font doesn't work properly with Myanmar characters.

  • The bookmark drop down tab is too wide on version 6. It worked just fine on version 3.6. Thanks

    The bookmark drop down tab is too wide on version 6. It worked just fine on version 3.6. I know you can shorten the individual urls, but why should I have to do this? I am sticking with 3.6 until this problem is resolved.

    That can be caused by having some bookmarks with a long title.<br />
    The width of a column in the Bookmarks menu list is in current Firefox versions automatically adjusted to fit the bookmark with the longest name.<br />
    You can check the names of the bookmarks and make the longer ones shorter.<br />

  • Issue with Mulidimensional Nested Table

    Hi All,

        FOR j IN 1 .. 3
        LOOP
          IF i = 1
          THEN
            table_tab1.extend;
            table_tab1(j) := j;
          ELSE
            table_tab1.extend;
            table_tab1(j) := 4 - j;
          END IF;
            table_tab2.extend;
          table_tab2(i)(j) := table_tab1(j);
          DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('table_tab2(' || i || ')(' || j || '): ' ||
                               table_tab2(i) (j));
        END LOOP;
      END LOOP;
    exception
      when others then
        dbms_output.put_line(sqlerrm);
    END;
    This code is working fine as of now.But,If i comment below code(table_tab2 is also extended latter):
    table_tab2.extend;
        table_tab2(i) := table_type1();
    then it gives me error 'Subscription Beyond count'.
    I would like to know why i need to extend table_tab2 twice?
    Thanks!

    This code is working fine as of now
    No, it isn't. Make sure you have serveroutput on. If you do, you get this as script output (I am using SQL Developer):
    anonymous block completed
    ...meaning no exception was raised to client, because you trapped it, but the DBMS Output window gives:
    ORA-06533: Subscript beyond count
    ...with no indication of which line, because you suppressed it (why?). If you drop the worse than useless exception handler, you get:
    ORA-06533: Subscript beyond count
    ORA-06512: at line 22
    06533. 00000 -  "Subscript beyond count"
    *Cause:    An in-limit subscript was greater than the count of a varray
               or too large for a nested table.
    *Action:   Check the program logic and explicitly extend if necessary.
    A bit more helpful, yes? and with less code. Here is a revised block that writes the loop variable product to the nested array, with its output, initialising and extending correctly:
    DECLARE
      TYPE table_type1 IS   TABLE OF INTEGER;
      TYPE table_type2 IS   TABLE OF table_type1;
      table_tab1            table_type1;
      table_tab2            table_type2 := table_type2();
    BEGIN
      FOR i IN 1..2 LOOP
        table_tab1 := table_type1();
        FOR j IN 1..3 LOOP
          table_tab1.extend;
          table_tab1(j) := i * j;
        END LOOP;
        table_tab2.extend;
        table_tab2(i) := table_tab1;
      END LOOP;
      FOR i IN 1..table_tab2.COUNT LOOP
        FOR j IN 1..table_tab2(i).COUNT LOOP
          DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('Row ' || i || ' element ' || j || ' = ' || table_tab2(i)(j));
        END LOOP;
      END LOOP;
    END;
    Row 1 element 1 = 1
    Row 1 element 2 = 2
    Row 1 element 3 = 3
    Row 2 element 1 = 2
    Row 2 element 2 = 4
    Row 2 element 3 = 6
    You could alternatively dispense with table_tab1 if you prefer, and write directly each element.

  • Join between two nested tables question

    Hi. I have two nested tables with a join statement drawing info from both. The query looks like this:
    select to_char(N.LASTLOGONDATE, 'YYYY'), count(n.u_name), A.ACCOUNTDISABLED
    from coclastlogon, TABLE(COCLASTLOGON.RLLS) N , userpwaudit, TABLE(USERPWAUDIT.PVSS) A
    where N.U_NAME = A.USERNAME (+)
    and coclastlogon.AUDITID = 12
    and userpwaudit.AUDITID = 12
    group by to_char(N.LASTLOGONDATE, 'YYYY'), A.ACCOUNTDISABLED
    The query runs fine except its not generating non-matching values from the A.ACCOUNTDISABLED field. It is my understanding that placing the (+) will instruct the statement to add these columns to the result. If I use the same query with the same unnested data it produces the non-matching result set as I require.
    My feeling is there might be an issue with the way I've set my "FROM" but I'm not too sure how to proceed.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

    You're right, by non-matching I mean null values.
    Running the query I wrote returns this result:
    (N.LASTLOGONDATE,'YYYY') / COUNT(N.U_NAME) / ACCOUNTDISABLED
    2005 3408 No
    2002 1 Yes
    Running the query using un-nested data returns this result (this is what I'm after):
    (N.LASTLOGONDATE,'YYYY') /COUNT(N.U_NAME) /ACCOUNTDISABLED
    2005 3408 No
    2002 1 Yes
    2005 27 -
    As you can see, the value I'm after is the one with ACCOUNTDISABLED 'null' value. Essentially, "coclastlogon, TABLE(COCLASTLOGON.RLLS) N" has more values in the N.U_NAME column than the table it is being joined to. That is why I added the (+). I just need to account for all values in TABLE(COCLASTLOGON.RLLS) than just the ones that find a join with "userpwaudit, TABLE(USERPWAUDIT.PVSS) A"

  • Nesting tables in Dreamweaver

    I am having trouble nesting tables within tables, I have provided a link http://mark.host56.com/links/info.html.
    as you will see I have a table with a fireworks image inside, this is the table i am refering too.  And below I have inserted a scetch drawing of what I am trying to achive.  Thank you.

    I believe this is what we were discussing in your other topic.  However, I thought you had decided to use divs?
    If you want to use a nested table to solve this puzzle, you will need to create a table 3 wide by 2 high.  The left 2 columns will have the rowspan attribute set to 2.  The left-most column will have your image in it.  The middle column will be a spacer so set this to the width you want in between the left and right columns and then the top right column would be your header and the bottom right would be your text.  For the bottom right cell use the CSS border to place a border around just this cell.  Then you would have done this with tables.

  • Nested tables in RTF templates

    Hi,
    I've developed several templates including nested tables(to display parent/child transactions together in a single column group, displaying all the detail transactions but the parent only once), in PDF output this looks fine. However the users want all their output in Excel, this same layout is not picked up by Excel(all column headers for the data in the nested table move to the right, while all the data in the nested table is grouped under a 'merged cell' column header). Output of BI Publisher reports in Excel is generally terrible with a template designed for publishing in PDF, usually I can solve this with a lot of tweaking but haven't found a solution for this issue yet. Has anyone else run into this formatting issue and may have a tip to solve this?

    Hi,
    You need to declare a TYPE object as and then use it in the table structure.
    CREATE TYPE type_emp IS TABLE OF VARCHAR2(15);
    CREATE TABLE Biscuits Company SA
    (company_name COMPANY NOT NULL,
    Company_Owner VARCHAR2(20) NOT NULL)
    NESTED TABLE staff_tab STORE AS type_emp;

This is not client code that can lay sole claim to most of the memory. It is server code and one of many server processes that need to share the available resources. So capitalism is fine on a client, but you need socialism on the server? {noformat} ;-) {noformat}
    Will it have any performance impact since all the data is stored in the memory.Interestingly yes. Usually crunching data in memory is better. In this case it may not be so. The memory used is the most expensive memory Oracle can use - the PGA. Private process memory. This means each process copy running that code, will need lots of memory.
    If you're not passing the data structures by reference, it means even bigger demands on memory as the data structure needs to be copied into the call stack and duplicated.
    The worse case scenario is that such code consumes so much free server memory, and make such huge demands on having that in pysical memory, it trashes memory management as the swap daemons are unable to keep up with the demand of swapping virtual memory pages into and out of memory. Most CPU time is spend by the swap daemons.
    I have seen servers crash due to this. I have seen a single PL/SQL process causing this.
    How can i measure the performance impact when the data grows ?Well, you need to look at the impact of your code on PGA memory. It is not SQL performance or I/O performance that is a factor - just how much private process memory your code needs in order to execute.

  • About nested tables in oracle 8i

    hello,
    actually i am working with oracle 8.1.5 's nested tables
    concept...
    here is a description of my tables
    create type parameterranges
    parameter_name varchar2(20),
    min_value number(10),
    max_value number(10)
    create type parameter_ran as table of parameterranges
    create table material_details
    mat_type varchar2(20),
    parameter_ranges parameter_ran
    okay...
    now my doubt is how do i place constraints on the nested table fields i.e on min_value etc...(especially NOT NULL
    constraint)
    DOUBT NO 2
    =============
    I have a query to find out the mat_type,partno from material_details table Based on the parameter value and its min_value ,i.e based on some name value pairs which I am achieving as below .
    select m.mat_type,m.partno
    from material_details m,table(m.parameter_ranges) p
    where p.parameter ='THICKNESS' and p.min_value = '1'
    and m.mat_type='STEEL'
    intersect
    select m.mat_type, m.partno
    from material_details m,table(m.parameter_ranges) p
    where p.parameter ='STANDARD' and p.min_value = 'SAE1010'
    and m.mat_type='STEEL';
    Now I want this to be in a cursor..i.e I want to use the same set of rows returned by the above in another query involving another table .
    That is using the multiple mat_type and partno returned from above I want to find out
    Other fields (company,plant) from another table part_details which also has a nested table in it
    How do I go about this???Actually I want to use these in a PLSQL procedure where we can have row by row control of the rows returned ,that is why I want a cursor.......
    could u think about this too...and if possible mail me at my yahoo id ..
    thanx once again
    please reply to my id

    thanx

    I don't understand exactly your problem. Can you send me a mail which expresses your problem??

  • Java call stored procedure with nested table type parameter?

    Hi experts!
    I need to call stored procedure that contains nested table type parameter, but I don't know how to handle it.
    The following is my pl/sql code:
    create or replace package test_package as
    type row_abc is record(
    col1 varchar2(16),
    col2 varchar2(16),
    col3 varchar2(16 )
    type matrix_abc is table of row_abc index by binary_integer;
    PROCEDURE test_matrix(p_arg1 IN VARCHAR2,
    p_arg2 IN VARCHAR2,
    p_arg3 IN VARCHAR2,
    p_out OUT matrix_abc
    END test_package;
    create or replace package body test_package as
    PROCEDURE test_matrix(p_arg1 IN VARCHAR2,
    p_arg2 IN VARCHAR2,
    p_arg3 IN VARCHAR2,
    p_out OUT matrix_abc
    IS
    v_sn NUMBER(8):=0 ;
    BEGIN
    LOOP
    EXIT WHEN v_sn>5 ;
    v_sn := v_sn + 1;
    p_out(v_sn).col1 := 'col1_'||to_char(v_sn)|| p_arg1 ;
    p_out(v_sn).col2 := 'col2_'||to_char(v_sn)||p_arg2 ;
    p_out(v_sn).col3 := 'col3_'||to_char(v_sn)||p_arg3 ;
    END LOOP ;
    END ;
    END test_package ;
    My java code is following, it doesn't work:
    Class.forName ("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver");
    Connection con = DriverManager.getConnection
    ("jdbc:oracle:thin:@10.16.102.176:1540:dev", "scott", "tiger");
    con.setAutoCommit(false);
    CallableStatement ps = null;
    String sql = " begin test_package.test_matrix( ?, ? , ? , ? ); end ; ";
    ps = con.prepareCall(sql);
    ps.setString(1,"p1");
    ps.setString(2,"p2");
    ps.setString(3,"p3");
    ps.registerOutParameter(4,OracleTypes.CURSOR);
    ps.execute();
    ResultSet rset = (ResultSet) ps.getObject(1);
    error message :
    PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'TEST_MATRIX'
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 8:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    Regards
    Louis

    Louis,
    If I'm not mistaken, record types are not allowed. However, you can use object types instead. However, they must be database types. In other words, something like:
    create or replace type ROW_ABC as object (
    col1 varchar2(16),
    col2 varchar2(16),
    col3 varchar2(16 )
    create or replace type MATRIX_ABC as table of ROW_ABC
    /Then you can use the "ARRAY" and "STRUCT" (SQL) types in your java code. If I remember correctly, I recently answered a similar question either in this forum, or at JavaRanch -- but I'm too lazy to look for it now. Do a search for the terms "ARRAY" and "STRUCT".
    For your information, there are also code samples of how to do this on the OTN Web site.
    Good Luck,
    Avi.

  • Fun with fully-qualified class names

    In Java, AFAIK, there are three forms of fully-qualified class names: 1) the name you get from Class.getName(), e.g. java.lang.String 2) the name that the VM spec defines as appropriate for (e.g.) constant pool info, e.g. java/lang/String 3) the type
