Nested while defining class: com.sun.xml.ws.api.WSBinding ???

Why is this happening, I am trying to access servlet, 2.4 on the Webshere 6.1, installation as succesfull and the servlet is running without exceptions.
  nested while defining class: com.sun.xml.ws.api.WSBinding
This error indicates that the class: javax.xml.ws.Binding
could not be located while defining the class: com.sun.xml.ws.api.WSBinding
This is often caused by having the class at a higher point in the classloader hierarchy

For those who would have the same problem, here is how I could eventually fix it.
Since the Flex Test Drive is sometimes out of sync with flash builder 4, I recreated a project using other help pages on Adobe site :
Entry point :
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flex/4.0/AccessingData/WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-668f02f4120d422cf08- 7ffd.html
As suggested, I used the New Project wizard to create a new project, with :
Application server type : J2EE
Check the radio button "Use remote object access service : BlazeDS"
Then, as indicated in following pages (section "Accessing BlazeDS")... :
file:///C:/Mes%20documents%20C/Commun/Developpement/Documentation/HT-Tracks/AccessingData/ help.adobe.com/en_US/Flex/4.0/AccessingData/WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-668f02f4120d422cf08-7ffe.ht ml#WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-19a3f0e0122be55e1b7-8000
...I selected the "Data / Connect to Data/Services..." menu option, which started the Data/service connection wizard.
There, I selected a BlazeDS (and not Web Services) service type, and everything went fine.
Suggestion to adobe staff : maybe it would be useful to update the Flex Test Drive to reflect Flash Builder 4 ?
Very nice product anyway, so far, congratulations...
Rgds
Marc.

I have seen this error when I'm executing inside one of the (j2ee sun reference implementation) server containers (either web or ejb). I believe its caused by "something" having previously loaded the "sax 1 driver class". In my case, I think the container or server is loading the sax parser from a jar that contains a sax 1 version. If you can, ensure that nothing is loading the sax 1 parser from another jar on your system. Verify that you are loading the sax parser from a jar containing the latest version so that you get the sax 2 compliant parser. Good luck!

• Taskdef class com.sun.xml.rpc.tools.ant.Wscompile cannot be found

Hi everybody,
I m new in developing web service.
I am using NetBeans IDE 4.1 EA2 for developing web service.
I have created a sample jaxrpc web service. When i build project it gives me error that:taskdef class com.sun.xml.rpc.tools.ant.Wscompile cannot be found.
This error is contain in the file build-impl.xml which is referred by build.xml file.
netbeans ide uses ant tool for compiling, building & deploying web service.
All the xml files are automatically generated by netbeans ide.
Please help me with this...
Thanx in advance..
Nirav Patel.

You'll need to add jaxrpc-impl.jar to your
classpath.
You can find it under %JWSDP_HOME%\jaxrpc\lib
If you haven't got JWSDP then try
http://java.sun.com/webservices/downloads/webservicesp
ack.htmlhello...
i want to add jaxepc-impl.jar to classpath.
i got the same problem.
i check the user variable c:\sun\jwsdp-1.6\jwsdp_shared\bin;c:\sun\jwsdp-1.6\jwsdp_shared\bin
have been there.
but still the same error appear in the netbeans.
i hope can't get the one-by-one steps guidelines from u.
thanks

• Web Service error com.sun.xml.ws.fault.SOAPFaultBuilder.disableCaptureStack

Hi,
I have implemented a Java class which calls some XML RPC 3.0 proxy methods.
If I test the method input inside a "main ()" method and get the output, it works nice.
The XML RPC 3.0 procy method is also invoked and there is no problem.
However, when I expose this java class as a "web service" and invoke the web service from the JDeveloper integrated console or
even an external test client running on a browser, I get the error mentioned below.
Which setting must be defined in the JDevelopper ( Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.2.0 on :

Hello AYVR
I found your post because I want to suppress the stack trace in my response of the web service. I put the -Dcom.sun.xml.ws.fault.SOAPFaultBuilder.disableCaptureStackTrace=false parameter in the setDomainEnv.cmd in the bin directory of my domain. Maybe this is also a solution for you.
Cheers Chris

• How to get the " com.sun.xml.* " package?

In a java xml sample, it uses a class "com.sun.xml.tree.XmlDocument". Its author said it is a internal class.But I can't find the class in "com.sun" package. Please tell me how to get the class?
Thanks very much!

This set of classes was available in the J2ee.jar that was packaged with j2sdkee1.2.1, This set of classes is NOT in the j2ee.jar of the j2sdkee1.3.1. After we upgraded, we started to get these errors ... have no idea where/if these classes are still available as add on api or not. I downloaded the the java xml pack and this class is not available in any of the jars contained within.

i want to explain you my problem i created a webservice with JDeveloper 10.1.3, and run perfectly but when i want to run it in another IDE i copied the codes to a another IDE and run perfectly in a simple java project in my different IDE but when i putted the code in a web application in another web server differente to the oracle i got this error message
vax.xml.rpc.ServiceException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.xml.rpc.client.ServiceFactoryImpl ------------------------- Loader Info ------------------------- ClassLoader name:
i dont know whats happening and is so strange because i make one simple java project in eclipse and i copied the codes and works fine, but in a web application i cant run it.
I also founded it the jar to this class com.sun.xml.rpc.client.ServiceFactoryImpl
but doesnt work
Can somebody help me, please?.. i really need it..
thnks

It usually means that a JAR in which the class file resides is not included in the web-app or is not on the classpath. Had the same problem with the last Eclipse/WebLogic project where JAR files, in which class files resided on which other class files were dependent, were missing.

• Moving from com.sun.xml classes to the new xml support integrated in java

So far, for our XML implementation, we have used the DocumentEx, ElementEx, etc. from com.sun.xml.
We understand that xml is now supported by the java itself (javax.xml.parsers?) and we wish to update our code to use the newer API.
Is there a simple mapping between the old DocumentEx and ElementEx and new classes in javax.xml? Can it really be simple to "get rid" of com.sun.xml?

The combination of the:
Oracle XML SQL Utility
and
Oracle XML Parser for PLSQL V2
give you what you need.

Regards,
Manish

along with wlfullclient.jar please add wseeclient.jar
Copy the file WL_HOME/server/lib/wseeclient.zip from the computer hosting WebLogic Server to the client computer( where WL_HOME refers to the WebLogic Server installation directory, such as /Oracle/Middleware/wlserver_12.1)
Unzip the wseeclient.zip file into the appropriate directory. For example, you might unzip the file into a directory that contains other classes used by your client application.
Add the wseeclient.jar file (unzipped from the wseeclient.zip file) to your CLASSPATH.
Note:
Also be sure that your CLASSPATH includes the JAR file that contains the Ant classes (ant.jar). This JAR file is typically located in the lib directory of the Ant distribution.

Hi all,
I'm trying to use a gSOAP server and a jax-ws client.
I did a first test with WSDLReader to ask the wsdl from the gSOAP server and read it to display all informations.
It was ok !
Now I try to call a method whit this code :
              URL url = new URL("http://localhost:" + port + "/BenchOperations?wsdl");
              QName qname = new QName("http://www.Bench.toto.com", "BenchOperations");
              Service service = Service.create(url, qname); // EXCEPTION
              BenchPortType interfaceDeService = service.getPort(BenchPortType.class);
              TimeRequest timeRequest = new TimeRequest();
              timeRequest.setSleepDuration(sleep);
              TimeResponse timeResponse = interfaceDeService.time(timeRequest);but I have this exception on "Service.create" :

Hi all,
I compared the wsdl sent by the gSOAP server and the jax-ws server and there are not similar !
this can explain that I have a nullPointerExcpetion when I use a gSOAP server
How I can do ? Why the wsdl sent are not the same ?
Thanks for your help

• Com.sun.xml?

I'm just starting to teach myself XML from a text book and the examples use an import line:
import com.sun.xml.parser.Resolver
I have downloaded the java xml pack from java.sun.com but can't find where I can get the other library I need to import.
Can somebody help me and tell me where to get it from or possibly email it to me. If you have the library I will post my email address later.
Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael,
since Version JAXP 1.1 You find the Resolver.class in org\apache\crimson\parser.
Good Luck

• JAX RI:javax.activation.DataHandler cannot be cast to com.sun.xml.ws.....

I'm newbie in web services, and I would like to create web service for upload files.
Axis2 is installed, and I tried to implement some solutions I found on the web, but i got an error:
javax.activation.DataHandler cannot be cast to com.sun.xml.ws.developer.StreaminDataHandler
on server side code looks like:
@WebMethod(operationName = "getHeight")
public int getHeight(String name, @XmlMimeType("application/octet-stream") DataHandler data) {
StreamingDataHandler dh = (StreamingDataHandler) data; //this is where error occurs..
on client side:
tt=new javax.activation.FileDataSource("c:\\myImage.jpg");
dhh=new javax.activation.DataHandler(tt);
int r=port.getHeight("name", dhh);
tnx :)
