Net Price/Net Value on Sales Order Overview Incorrect

Hi Experts!
We are on SAP 4.7
I have a sales order that has already been delivered, billed, etc.  However, when I look in the Sales Order Overview screen, for 1 item, the Net Price is different than the Item Pricing Condition screen.  I looked in document changes and did see when the Net Price was changed, but cannot tell why it was changed.  Can you anyone explain why this happened?  This is causing a minimum order surcharge in the order.  Awaiting a quick response.  Thank you in advance!
WC

Thank you for the response!
I have tried to replicate the scenario, that was causing the net price/net value displaying incorrectly, and thus causing a minimum order surcharge fee; which was really the issue.
When I re-created the scenario, I found that a change in quantity in the sales order of an item or items, after the delivery has already been created (before posting GI); it caused the net price/net value to change, thus causing the minimum order surcharge.
The person changed the quantity in sales order, and it indirectly changed the net price, causing the minimum order surcharge.  I still do not know why this happened?
Do you know of any reasons why this may have occured?
Thank you in advance!

Talk to your SD consultants. Net value is determined based on the pricing conditions. Pricing configuration is usually unique to each business, so your SD consultant should know how the pricing condition should (and may) be changed in your specific situation.

  • Net price calculation for a sales order item

I am sending the input to BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 for a sales order item with a customer expected price and the material number (pricing group is not being filled in). When the sales order is generated, I see that net price is different from the expected price and the price is being obtained based on the material number that is being given as input. I want to know at what point of code the net price is calculated?  I tried to debug and see but with the numerous userexits and BADIs in the calls I am not successful yet. Any input is appreciated.

It goes through different pricing routines but the start will be in function module 'PRICING'. Put a break point and run your BAPI or go to tcode VOK0 - find the condition and routines.
Pricing will be calculated based on customer and material.
Previous answer is pretty good, you need to fill item conditions in table in bapi also header conditions if you are using header pricing.
Anyways, first of all create your order from VA01 and see the netprice in conditions. again, the pricing will also depends upon region of customer and material.

  • Pricing amount and condition value in sales order

    Hi all,
I have noticed for a sales order we are not able to see condition type amount, condition value in sales order even though it shows net price finaly ofr a sales order. Not even able to select the condition lines.
To be specific not able to find value in field KBETR  - amount column and KWERT - condition value column
When we go to sales order line item and select condition tab, do see value displayed in Amount and Condition column. Is there are specific reason it is doing visa vis in our production we see both values.
Advise what could be the reason value not getting displayed in Amount and Condition value column.
    thanks

It is due to auth for specific columns we have solved the problem.

  • Net Value in sales order item

    Hi All,
Any one know how the system set net value in sales order item? (VBAP-NETWR)
I mean, what kind of condition type will be considered in net value calculation.
    Thank you

    Hi,
In Sales Order net value (NETWR) is always value before tax, it means the condition type determined before tax condition will be considered in sales order Net Value.
In other words if conditon type have a category defined as D-Tax and Cond. class as D- Taxes, the value of this condition type will not be considered in Net value.
    regards
    Vivek.

  • Implementation of Note 80183 for Rounding: "QTY * Net Price = Net Value"

    Dear All.
We're reviewing adding in note 80183 to handle some rounding issues.
Basically, our "QTY * Net Price = Net Value" is not adding up due to some rounding in determining the Net Price off the Net Value.
The note looks like the right answer, and there are already some very good threads posted on this topic.
What I'm hoping to find though is if someone has implemented the note, and what they found?
    (1) Any issues encountered?  Any impact to other functionality - Credit Checks, etc....
    (2) Any additional changes needed to the alternative calculation type or alternative base value provided?
    (3) Any additional requirements or customizations needed?
    (4) Any issues with Account Assignment posting, or output (invoice or order confirmation)?
    (5) General feedback on how easily implemented.
    Many thanks!

    HI,
The note: 1668972 - ME 083: Enter Net Price for value contract w. future dates has been modified in Jan 2014 and the correction instruction for even EHP 6 is included. Please check whether the correction instruction 1417190 already exists in your system. If not, apply the note.
If you are getting the same error even after applying the note, you may raise an OSS ticket to SAP.

  • Rolling up item values in Sales Order

    Hi Folks
We have a project where we have a bundle with components with prices.
    Question
1)Looking for a solution where we would like to roll up all price components as statistically to the top of the bundle where it would sum up the prices and total the sales order and intercompany invoice.
For example: Line item 1: Bundle         Net Value 7.08
Line item 2: Component 1    Net Value 7.11
Line item 3: Component 2    Net Value 23.55
We are looking for a total net value = 37.74 at the header level Net Value but currently in SO header its only showing 7.08
Any suggestions on what might need to be setup on price condition or price procedure.
    Regards

  • Updating price in already created sales order

    Hi all,
I have an issue. When we create sales order, system will display current date pricing on sales order, for example total value of sales order is 9000. Now before delivery, prices change and we have to manually update price on sales order individually. Is there any report available that can update price of all already created sales orders instead of going on sales order and update one by one.
    Please respond.
    Best Regards,
    AI.

    Hello,
You can update the pricing for all the created orders at a time in VA05 .
Goto Transaction code VA05 and give all the sales orders and then in the MENU click on
    EDIT->MASS CHANGE>NEW PRICING
And update the New pricing, then will carry out new pricing for all the sales orders at a time.
    OR,
There is also one function module  SD_BULK_CHANGE , Create your own Query in SQV1 and make changes.
Hope it will resolve , Please revert if you need further details
    thanks,

  • How to put 2 kinds of material prices on the same sales order

    Hello SD Gurus,
I have a requirement to put a one-time price (e.g. installation price ) and a recurring monthly price on the same sales order.
I've tried the following but it is not working.
    1. I have a pricing procedure (PSER01) in which I'm using the following price types:PR00 (Defined as a "Discount or Surcharge") and PRSV.  I'm using PR00 to represent my one-time installation price.  I'm using PRSV to represent my monthly+recurring price.
    2. I used it for a material master in a sales order.  I can add PR00 and see the green traffic light.  But as soon as I add PRSV, the traffic light on PR00 turns yellow (Inactive because of subsequent price).
I've read several posts on the forum regarding this.  Based on my understanding, I'm using two pricing conditions in one pricing procedure which is not allowed.
What can I do differently to enable the one-time price and monthly price to appear for my material master on the sales order?
Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi,
As per SAP Logic, if the condition type has condition class "C" then only one value is allowed.
if you want to add two values ( Fixed + Variable) then you can do the following logic.
1 ) Have one condition type  say ZFIX ( Use this for Fixed Value ) cond class = C
2 ) another condition type Say ZVAR(Use this for  variable value ) Cond Class = C
3 ) another condition type say Zxxx ( use this for your Final Value) cond class = C
now do not assign any access sequence to the third condition type. write a logic in the "Alt Calculation type " routine to get the value of this condition from the sume of ZFIX + ZVAR
    i.e., ZXXX = ZFIX + ZVAR.
Make sure that the sequence of the codition types are mentioned exactly like the above.
this is because if you put ZXXX third then the system automatically ignores the value of ZFIX and ZVAR.
but the values against those condition types will be stores internally. So in future if we want some information also we can trace back..
let me know if you need further help..
    thanks..

  • Average moving price in a past sales order

    Dear gurus,
How can I check the average selling moving price in a past sales order. For example, I want to see the average selling price in a set of orders which has been created in March or May this year as we are in August.
    How do I do that?
    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi
In the moving average price procedure (price control u201CVu201D), the system valuates goods receipts with
the purchase order price and goods issues with the current moving average price.
The system automatically moving average price calculates( the latter) upon every goods movement by dividing the total value by the total stock quantity.
This is the concept of MAP (It changes dynamically with each and every MIGO or SD goods issue happens with that material in its master record )
MAP is a dynamic parameter and it changes with each and every sales order in MMR
MAP for the past single order can be seen in VPRS condition type provoded if you have choosen the appropriate price control there
average selling price in a set of orders which has been created in March or May this year as we are in August.
    This statement is meaningless

  • How to limit the number of price conditions in a sales order

    Dear experts,
We've created discounts in our pricing procedure, and they are added manually. They have a maximum.
But the problem is that the user can add several discount price conditions in the sales order!
Is there any customizing to limit the number of occurrences to 1 in the pricing procedure?
    Thank you for your help
    Marjolaine

    HI,
You can make use of feature to maintain maximum and minimum limits per condition type.
SPRO > SAP Implementation Guide > Customer Relationship Management > Basic Functions > Pricing > Define Settings for Pricing > Create Minimum/Maximum Limits
In this activity you can restrict manual processing of pricing conditions in transactions using minimum and maximum limits per condition type.
Kindly reward with points in case helpful
