Net stream glitch when loading external content

I have a program that plays an FLV using netStream and has cue points embedded which trigger the loading of external graphics. If the code for loading the external graphics is commented out the video plays normally. However, if the code to load the external graphics is left in, each time a graphic is loaded the video appears to stop and start. Has anyone experienced similar issues and/or have any suggestions.
FYI, I built the program using a FLVplayback instance on stage and there is no glitch when the images load, but I have a lot of other things built using the nestStream class so I'd prefer to do it that way.

In considering kglad's comment about streaming capacity I starting running a brief test whereby the external graphics would be loaded into the flash file and attached using the attachMovie method rather than loaded using the loadMovie method. In doing so, I found the offending code.
The code was borrowed from a previous program that streamed a number of videos of different sizes. To make a long story short, for that project I was setting the video player visibility to false each time a new video loaded and this was done where the loader was given the loadMovie command. Visibility was turned on when the loader issued the onLoadComplete call. So I got exactly what I was asking for a momentary interruption in the visibility of the video.

I have unchecked uncheck currency conversion for external systems in my info package and then loaded the data from a flat file.
and then i am getting the below errors.
cost -> cannot be converted to currenecy (since cost contains currency item)

if i check the option
currency conversion for external systems in my info package
then i am getting error 4 when loading external data.

Please check whether your file whcih you are loading is open , when you are starting the Infopackage.
Also please check this SAP Note 600246 - RSAR 234: Error 4 when you load external data.

Error 3 when loading external data

Hi Gurus!!
I am trying to load data from a flat file into a Cube. The load is done by a process chain and have worked perfectly before. The file is located on the application server.
Now I get the following error:
Cannot Update Request REQU_DESUFKD2XA1LDREQ0KEJZ2TJC in Data Target
Error 3 when loading external data
The file looks ok when i compare it with the ones i received earlier.
Any ideas what this error 3 is all about?

Error 1 when loading external data

Hi BW( Best and Wise) friends,
I am not able to load data into my infocube. My source system is a PC file.
Message <b>"Error 1 when loading external data is displayed."</b> when scheduled.
When I checked the error details using Monitor button,
During extraction, the data request was arranged(indicated by green mark),but there was error in <b>data request(red).</b>
During extraction,data request was received (green),but there was some error in <b>data selection(red).</b>
Anticipating good solution.

1.The flatfile matches with the transfer structure
2.The file is a .csv format file only.
3.The path is correct
I had chosen comma as my data separator.
I had declared fields in the following way in the XL csv file
Name of the candidate text
Name of the party- text
Age-number
Number of votes gained number
Calendar day text.
I had already tried the following.
When I clicked the preview in the external data tab of the infopackage, a window showing the preview parameters is opening. When I clicked the tickmark, message error 1 when loading data is displayed.
4. The details tab of the monitor showed the following:
Overall status : Errors occurred: or: Missing messages-red

Load external content

Hello everyone
I want to know that with flex mobile development can we load external content like unity3d, .apk or .ipa, video files or html file from sd card or internal memory of device.If possible then some one can please tell me how to do this or possible. Can i use same project for android, ios and blackberry platform.

One of the features that Air 2 is suppose to have is the ability to print w/o showing the dialog. Any idea where an example of that is?

Flash cs4 mac - Error opening URL '/:Users:someting.swf' - Not a "loading external content" problem

Hello.
I am having a weird problem when trying to test a movie or publish preview -> flash on mac with Leopard os.
The result is a blank movie with the usuall "movie not loaded" if u right click on it and the output returns the "Error opening URL 'the path of the swf here'.
This has nothing to do with loading external files or something like that. It happens even in blank movies and it gives the same error if I try to open a swf from flash ide.
I can publish the project or export the movie with no problem at all.
I can preview the movie in html. I can run all the swf files in my hard disk, network, usb stick, dvd etc., but when I try to open any of these files from flash ide I got that stupid error.
Its not something that stops me from working in flash ide but its slow to export movie any time I want to test it.
Things that I've tried so far but nothing worked:
Update the flash cs4 to the latest version
Update the flash players
Restored the release flash player as default player (I am using as default the debug player)
Cleared the preferences
Move the flash cs4 folder to another location in hd
Saved the fla document first before testing the movie (in different places with or without spaces in document name or folder)
Give read & write permissions for everyone for flash.app, players and for fla files when saved first before test movie
Unistall and install the application 3-4 times.
Test every as version just in case.
Also I've checked the folders when testing movie and I can see that it creates an swf file, which I can run it outside flash ide (the one that the flash ide player cannot load) with no problem.
The mac os has the default set up as it came. Nothing chnaged in permissions or security settings.

happens on every file I load when I am using a relative path to the
content, regardless of how I load the content (XML object,
loadMovie, MovieClipLoader, etc…) and the same code executes
perfectly on every other machine in the office(Mac and PC).
I’m more concerned with the semi-colons and .swf filename
that Flash is putting into my relative path on the error message.
Is that normal?

Swf changes size when loaded externally

I have a swf file that I am loading externally into my main
site, but for some reason it is coming in way bigger than it should
be (looks fine when I view it in it's own file). Any ideas on what
might be causing that? It's a guestbook form.

Also check whether the quality is good when viewing it in actual percentage, are you changing the dimensions of image after loaded?

Error 2044 when loading external swf into my site

Ok what i have is a site made from 1 flash file where i am loading external swf files for my picture galleries. now what is happening is in Flash, dreamweaver and when i test the site, everything is working perfectly, the problem is coming when i go into internet explorer go to the site and click on the flash button to go to the picture gallery, that is when it is giving me a Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2036: Load Never Completed.
does anyone know why this is happening and a possible way to fix it? thanks

The key issue here is
"KUP-04063: unable to open log file owb_county_timezone.log
OS error Permission denied".
Looks like you don't have sufficient system priviliges on Unix.
This is wat AskTom mentions about it:
"the directory must exist on the SERVER.
the concerned user is the "oracle software owner" as far as the OS is concerned.
oracle must have read write access to this directory
and the directory must exist on the SERVER (database server) itself."

Run time error when loading external dimensions in Dev Studio

I'm getting a run-time error when I try to load externally managed dimensions in Dev Studio using "Discover" button. The dimensions appear in the state folder so they got loaded fine but not sure why they are not being loaded into dev studio.

Spry Dynamic Tabs - reCAPTCHA is missing when loading external php file

But now im converting my site to use Dynamic tabs, and something goes wrong.
The dynamic tabs load content from external files. It loads html but i think something goes wrong with php and my buttons.
You need to know ALL is working perfect on the old site.
2 problems;
I dont know how to convert my buttons to this new style.

Dont mind the extra javascripts they are not used for now (like SpryEffects.js) its for future use.

The tab 4 displays the contact form but you will see the reCAPTHCA is missing.
I have really no clue why it happens, exept maybe its a PHP issue.
Maybe the script isnt compatible with non-html documents...

I tryd to put this straight into the title tags in the xml but obviously it wont work.
And i really dont have a clue how to change this.
My button has a mouseover img. Basicly its 2 buttons in 1 img stacked on top of each other.

The replacement code is the same code that is outputted from the recaptchalib.php file.

Dreamweaver crashes when loading external code or files.

Dreamwever CC crashes when I paste code retrieved from an external source (hubspot template, html source files, etc).
If the code contains live links to certain servers (jquery on Google, etc) then Dreamweaver takes a lot to load and often crashes.
I have a very powerful PC config, so the hardware is NOT responsible for this behavior.
Here is what I did so far:
- I applied the register fix (ResolveRemoteURLToIPAddress = FALSE)
- unchecked "Enable Related Files"
- unchecked View > Style Rendering > Display Styles
- unchecked "Automatically Sync Remote Files"
- blocked Dreamweaver from accessing the net in my firewall
The damn thing is still crashing and the only solution is to disable / manually remove the internet cable from the PC.
Any help or advice is highly appreciated.

Try putting links to external scripts, servers, etc... into a server-side include. It works for me.

I have a project that uses various external Flex modules at runtime.
With Flash Builder 4, the Debug Launcher runs fine when compiling on a Windows XP box. The app behaves correctly, no crash.
When debugging the same project on a Vista 64bit using Flash Builder 4.5, all seems fine until I load an external module. At that point, the adl.exe process crashes with the following report:

Ff crashes on all systems, when loading much content. no matter what addons or what system constellation.

i really tried all on very different computers. ff keeps crashing while loading much image content, either into one page or into tabs. it 99% seems like bad memory handling.
