Net value determination

Hi Gurus,
can anybody help me for solving the following problem;
scenario 1: i am creating opportunity for end customer and a follow up document is to be created as a quotation where the sold to party get changed automatically(i customized through partner determination procedure) and both the business partner end customer(in opportunity) and sold to party (in quotation) if at all the business partner are different but sales area details are exactly same. still the net value is not getting determined in quotation.
when i delete the distribution channel and again redetermination of org unit attribute with same distribution channel(in quotation) the net value get determined
Scenario2. when i am creating a service order for the same end customer while creating a follow-up document as complaint the sold party get changed as sales partner(like above scenario) so the complaint order did not get replicate into r/3, if i keep the same business partner*(end customer) in complaint too the it get replicated.
But the clients requirment is that to keep separte sold to party in quotation and complaint so what i need to do ....
please help me for this.

  • Condition type determined but net value of the item is zero

    Hello guys
In one of my sales process I have a single condition type assigned to the pricing procedure, when I create a sales order then system is determining value of that condition type but system makes the net value to zero. Any help would be highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Javed Ihsan

    Hi Javed,
The reason for the same could be that
    1. the conditions is statistical
    2. The net value can only be seen at the header if you have maintained the net value as one of the line items in the pricing procedure.
    Kindly check.
    Hope this help.

    Hi,
    Price/ Net value not picking!
Check  info record  based on  Material Group for your service PR which need to be converted to PO.
Also check activation of  Automatic Purchase order creation for Service requisitions in t.code: ML91.
Check vendor master , schema group of vendor and check MM pricing procedure, the availability of condition type for service master for service PO.

  • In Price determination process, how to correct Net values ?

In me23n, how can I correct Net value inclusive of tax & final price ?
    Netvalue inclusive of tax = basic + NAVD(deductible) + NAVS(non deductible)
When I go to me23n screen, when I click on invoice tab the screen contains basic price ,deductible tax and non deductibe tax.
    Invoice tab
    JSTD A/P Service tax ded        12.000 %         5,148.00
    JSTE     A/P Ed Cess ST ded        2.000 %         102.96
    JSTH     A/P SEd Cess ST ded   1.000 %          51.48
    Total deductible tax(NAVD) is 5302.44
but when I go to condition tab
    NAVD     Deductible Tax       6,266.49      INR
because NAVD calculated incorrectly, hence netvalue inclusive of tax is calculating wrong values.
    How can I correct NAVD?

    Hi,
You can check in the Pricing Calculation Schema. The addition and subtractions steps are done there. check the step numbers given are correct.
For that, in Vendor AMster Purchasing view check the schema assigned and go to  Customisation for MMPurchasing-Conditions----Define calculation Procedure. assignment of Calculation schema to schema....
    Hope this will help.

  • Static Credit Limit Check for Sales Orders - Net Value vs Credit Value

We are testing order credit check and we have run into a problem with the Static Credit Limit Check.  The Static Credit Limit Check is set to use both Order and Delivery Values.  SAP uses the values in S066 and S067 to determine what values it uses to check against the credit limit.  Standard SAP uses the confirmed quantity times the credit price to get the order values - this is the credit value.
So the problem is, once an order is released it is set up so it does not go back on credit hold, so anything which is not confirmed (but could be) it a potential credit value which is unaccounted for in the credit exposure and the customer can go over the credit limit.
Additionally, we run AFS and have items which are rejected with a J0 rejection code (unconfirmed) which have the potential of being confirmed and shipped and we want to include these items in the value of the order which is being checked against the credit limit (along with the deliveries, invoices and receivables).
    Here is a quick example.
Customer has a credit limit of $100 (no deliveries, invoices or receivables - to keep it simple)
Order 1 is placed with a credit value of $50.00 but a potential value of $100 (the other half is J0) - this passes the credit check since $50.00 is less than the limit.
Order 2 is placed for $50.00 and has a credit value of $50.  This also gets approved.
At this point, the credit limit used is 100% (based on standard SAP)
Then Order1 backorder is confirmed and the new credit value is now $100.  This order now puts the customer over their limit and if the order had been released would not go back on credit hold and therefore the customer is not over their credit limit by 50%.
What I want is for Order1 to be credit checked for the $100 not the $50 so the exposure is correct.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we could use the Net Value of the order to perform the static credit check?  And any thoughts on how to determine the correct credit exposure (open order value plus items which are J0, plus deliveries, plus invoices, plus receivables)?
I am thinking about a Z table to track the adjusted values on the orders and then use one of the customer checks to do a static credit check with the adjusted value.  And for the exposure, use the adjusted value to recalculate the values in F.35 to show a more accurate view of the credit exposure.
Does anyone have an easier way to do this?  Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Suzanne

    Hi Suzzane,
In the scenario that you have provided, in the first order items worth 50$ are rejected. Hence standard SAP will not take this into account as this item is rejected. Two solutions can be provided here:
    1) The line item can have a delivery block instead of  a reason for rejection. This way the 50$ will get accounted. However, if this is against customer norms as this will appear in the order acknowledgment, this cannot be used.
    2) User exit can be used where a credit check can be triggered once the document value changes, even though the document has a released status.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Vinu

  • Net Value in sales order item

    Hi All,
Any one know how the system set net value in sales order item? (VBAP-NETWR)
I mean, what kind of condition type will be considered in net value calculation.
    Thank you

    Hi,
In Sales Order net value (NETWR) is always value before tax, it means the condition type determined before tax condition will be considered in sales order Net Value.
In other words if conditon type have a category defined as D-Tax and Cond. class as D- Taxes, the value of this condition type will not be considered in Net value.
    regards
    Vivek.

  • On Net value: Discount Condition Type

    Hi,
I would like to know whether the below requirement can be fulfilled with the standard SD configuration.
As far as I know all discount condition types calculates on Gross value. But I have a discount condition type (lets say 123 = Special Discount) which should calculate based on Net value. I can create a step after Netvalue but the problem I see is, how the system calculates Output tax
    eg.
    10 PR00
    20 ABC  (Customer discount)
    30 XYZ  (Material discount)
    40 Discount Sum
    50 Net Value
    60 123 (Special Discount)
    70 MWST (output tax)
So if I place discount type 123 after Net value, I think it will calculate on net value, but the problem might come with MWST as it cant calculates on Netvalue but on 123. Am I right?  I knew it can be done with the ABAPer help. But I would like to know whether it can be done with standard (alrady predefined) SAP configuration. (by assigning any routine or some settings in Pricing procedure determination in V/08 ???)
    Thank you.

    Hi santosh
Sub total will the PR00 - Discount sum
Net price will be Sub total - Special discount
how do I mention that sub total will be PR00 - Discount. I configure like this
    10 PR00
    20 ABC (Customer discount)
    30 XYZ (Material discount)
    40 Discount Sum                      from20    to39
    50 Sub total
    60 123 (Special Discount)
    70 Net price
    80 MWST (output tax)
    90 Total
when I indicate from 20 to 39 besides Discount Sum, system will sum the discounts between step 20 to 39. How do I write at sub total like this, so that system will deduct the discount sum from PR00. Similary how do I write Sub total - Special discount.
Could you please explain bit more detail.
    Thank you.

  • In Standard report VF05n under Net value system shows Basic price + Excise

    Dear Team,
In Standard report VF05n under Net value system shows Basic price + Excise n' Taxes. where as i required only Basic price in that column and Excise and Taxes separately  in separate columns.
    Plz, Suggest
    Thanks
    Gaurav

    Hi Gaurav,
The netvalue in this report comes from the invoice, which in turn determined by your pricing procedure. If you want only the basic price to be your net value, you have to adjust the same in your pricing procedure. But this is not advisable, as there are other price components also in your pricing procedure, rather you can develop a new report with the required details for your requirement.

  • Current net value is zero in retro billing VFRB

    Hi Friends,
we have used some z fields in pricing, almost all the fields are z fields in price determination includes condition base value.
we are able to create sales order and billing document and price is also getting determined as required.
Now the issue is we are unable to use retro-billing functionality, there the system is showing current net value as zero.
Ex : My price is basing on weight (it is a service material), this weight is a z field.
Landing Charges - 60 MT @ 100/mt, condition base value is 60 MT and price is getting determined as 60MT@100 equal to 6000.
Z field is available in VBAK table and not in VBRK table.
Now i am changing weight in sales order and running retro-billing, then it is showing current net value as zero.
i am unable to find out the reason, what could be ????, pl help
    thanks in advance,
    Srini

    FYI -
Retro Billing is used when you go for mass change of Base Pricing Condition Type in Billing doc(complete) based on Sold-to party & Material for a given range Billing date from & to. To do this you need agreement of your customer, and accordingly you make necessary changes in Base Pricing Condition Type condition record with proper validity date. Open ending validity date, might not be of much help to you in retro billing. So, when you execute Retro billing transaction for a particular date range, it considers condition records for Customer & Material key combination with validity of record laying in the date range provided.
So, that might give insight, why retro billing is working for you scenario.

  • Sales report to get grand net value

Is there a standard report where I can get the grand total of all the sales net values on the system? I am using VA05 and VA03 but I want to enter a range.

  • ONLY Net Value should hit the Sales Revenue GL account

    Hi,
My client has a requirement where he does NOT want to hit PR00 & Discount separately to different GL account. They want that the net amount (i;e PR00 - Discount) should only be hit to Sales Revenue GL account.
I removed the Account Key from this condition types in the pricing procedure but then it is giving the account determination error.
They dont want to have Dummy GL account also for this PR00 & Discount.
Kindly suggest what settings can be done to hit ONLY Net Amount to the Sales Revenue account.
    Thanks in advance....

    Hi
Step 10 ---PR00 say Rs 100 mark it as statistical
Step 20 ---K005 say Rs 10% mark it as statistical
Step 30 --- No condition type --In the description maintain NETT value System will automatically bring Rs 90 here ( in step 30 )
    Important thing---Assign SUBTOTAL ---D in step 30
Step 40 ---ZNET ---Assign Alternate calculation type 12 and account key
Now the value of step 30 that is Rs 90 will automatically flow in step 40 which will be taken to accounts through account key
PR00 and K005 wont hit accounts and this ZNET will hit accounts
    This will complete your requirements
The config of ZNET in V/06  should be
    Condition class A
    Calculation type as G
    Manual entries as C
    Item condition ticked
Plus/ minus as BLANK and rest everything untouched
This will 200 % fulfill your requirement and configure exactly  the same  just takes  10 mins and give me feedback
    Regards

  • What formula do I use to show the net value (less 23% tax).

In Numbers, what formula do I use to show the net value (i.e. less 23% tax).

    thejuddo writes:
"$100 plus sales tax of 23% would be $123.00 but in order to get the net value of $123.00 less the tax I would have to divide by 1.23 not multiply by 23% and then minus it."
    Correct;
The 23% tax is 23 one hundredths of the base amount, and is applied to that amount. As a formula, this can be stated as:
    =B2+B2*C2
    or
    =B2*(1+C2)
(either applying to the data arrangement shown in the top table, and entered in  D2 of that table)
In the other direction, though (bottom table), we start with the Gross amount and the Tax rate as known quantities, from which we are to determine the base amount, remembering that the 23% Tax rate is 23% of the Base amount, not 23% of the Gross amount.
Rewriting the two formulas above as equations, with g, b, and t as the variables, we get:
    g = b + (b * t)
    g = b(1+t)
    Solving the second for b:
    b - g/(1+t)
Expressed as a formula (with the data as arranged in the bottom table, and the formula in D2):
    D2: =B2/(1+C2)
In both directions, it may be prudent to round the result to the nearer hundredth, as done here for the calculation immediately above:
    =ROUND(B2/(1+C2),2)

  • 217 Error in quantity/value determination

    Hi experts,
In my pricing procedure the condition type VPRS is showing 0 value.
In analysis it is showing error: 217 Error in quantity/value determination.
Can you please tell what can be the problem? How dose VPRS work? I only know that VPRS is taken from the material master.
    Regards
    Fan

    Hi
VPRS retrives the cost of the Material from the material master data > Accounting 1 tab to the Sales order.
Once the cost is found, then Profit margin  (Net value - cost) is calculated.
VPRS does not contain any Access sequence.
With the help of its Condition category "G", it accesses the Material master > Accounting tab 1 and takes cost.
There may be two cost specified in the Material master. They are
    - Moving Avarage Price
    - Standard Price
Which one system will consider that depends upon the "Price control" field.
If the value is "V' in the Price control field, the system takes the "Moving Avarage Price" and if it is "S", then system takes the "Standard Price".
So, you must ensure these few control
    - VPRS should  NOT have any Access sequence.
    - Condition category "G" must have been assigned to VPRS.
    - VPRS must have been activated as "Statistical" condition in the Pricing Procedure and should not have any Account key.

  • How to enable net value in sap crm opportunity

    hello all ,
how to enable net value in sap crm opportunity and item category.

    Ahmad

    Hi Ali,
Every transaction which you create have some predefined rule in the form of procedure which is attached in the transaction level. You can follow below path and check for the transaction which are the rule maintained.
    CRM->Basic setting-> Define transaction types.
Search for your transaction type and double link in order to see all the rules attached to transaction level.
You also need to define which item categories you wanted to configure for particular transaction type which you all ready have done it seems.
You also need to define pricing procedure to the transaction where you need to checked for errors.
    Below is the path
CRM->Basic setting-> Define transaction type-> open your transaction
step 2:click on assignment of business transaction categories than select category as Sales
than click on  Customizing Header option to see attached pricing procedure with it.here you need to check for your error.
to check partner determination rule please follow below path in SPRO. -> partner determination procedure
Check in head of transaction which partner procedure is attached.
Than search for partner determination procedure in below path.
I hope this will help you to validate the setting for your transaction and will be helpful to solve your issue.
    Thanks,
    Prem
