NetConnection.Connect.Closed
Hi,
I have an application running via FMIS (dev version) that has
been working just fine until today. Now I see that once the net
connection fails, every status check shows that the net connection
is closed. The only spot in the AS3 code which can close the
NetConnection object explicitly is a single function called from
about a half dozen other functions - none of which are being
executed when I step through the code.
So my problem is why is it that all of a sudden, after months
of working just fine, would the net connection object just stop
connecting and working? The weird thing is that I'm seeing a client
connection in the FMS admin interface for the application, so there
is some communication going on...but locally the status of the net
connection keeps being read as closed.
I'm afraid to update anything with the live app as long as my
local app is behaving this way. The only change that I've made
systemically was to apply a Windows update this morning and install
a malicious software tool...and I did download and install a trial
version of Captivate two days ago, which could have been after the
last local successful use of the application. If anyone has any
ideas on what I can look at to figure out this problem I'd really
appreciate it.
Regards,
Dave Spaar
Would you have another computer where you could install FMS
and the application and see if it starts working again? It could be
related to the "malicious software tool". I know when I installed
anti-virus, FMS had a very strange reaction... if I remember, it
just stopped accepting connections, but it was so long ago, I don't
remember exactly.
Did you make any other changes in the client? Like upgrading
the language version you are using on the client? Is it a flex or
flash client?

NetConnection.Connect.Closed event not triggered in Vista FF3 when in fullscreen mode
Hello Pals -
I'm trying to handle the net connection drop and provide some kind of visual cue to user. For this I'm listening to NetConnection.Connect.Closed event and when its triggered, I take further steps. The events are triggered in Vista FF3(window mode)/IE7 but in Vista FF3 full screen mode, the event is not triggered. I forcefully disconnect the network cable to see the NetConnection.Connect.Closed event is triggered.
I have following piece of code to listen to the event,
nc = new NetConnection;
nc.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, onStatus, false, 0, true);
nc.connect();
public function onStatus(event:NetStatusEvent):void {
trace("Status " + event.info.level + " : " + event.info.code);
The function onStatus should be called whenever there is a status change in net connection. The events are not triggered in Vista FF3 full screen mode. Please share your views/ideas about this here. Thanks in advance. Please let me know incase more information is required.The problem decribed as above was caused by a fragile and eventually broken soldered connection on the curcuit board. My local dealer replaced the curcuit board and everything works fine again.
I still wonder how that happend. I did not try to bend my MacBook and it did not fall of my desk.

I am trying to stream on Twitch. I am using Camtwist and FMLE.
Hi
I think i found the sollution or at least I hope i was able to stream for 5 min without any interruption. So here are my settings for the video option my incoming settings ( assuming you are using the blackmagic intensity to get the footage in) are Blackmagic HD 720p 59.94 -8bit ( that setting only works if you can set your output on the camera to 720, you still can record in full HD on my camera they are two indepnt settings. ) if you can not downsample the video to 720 you have to use Blackmagic HD 1080i 59.94 - 8bit. Your input size for the 720p setting can be almost everyhing in the 700 or lower range. for the 1080i i only can choose the 1920 setting. So I am using the 720p setting for format I use H.264 and here is what trickered the interruption the frame rate your frame rate needs to be at 59.94 and i also have my aspect ratio checked on blackmagic audio the settings can be anything and voila it worked not interruption
hope that helps so even if you not use black magic see if you can get the frame rate settings all to the same -
NetConnection.Connect.Rejected in FMS 2
I want to create Audio/video chat application.
I have FMS 2.0.4 and XAMMP 1.6 installed on my computer
locally.
i use the following code to test a connection to the FMS:
conn = new NetConnection();
conn.connect("rtmp:/localhost/my_app");
conn.onStatus = function(info) {
trace ("Level: "+info.level+" Code: "+info.code);
but it seems it cannot establish a connection to the FMS
server and
returned the following errors:
Level: error Code: NetConnection.Connect.Rejected
Level: status Code: NetConnection.Connect.Closed
tried these other codes too on the connect function:
conn.connect("rtmp://localhost/my_app");
conn.connect("rtmp://127.0.0.1/my_app");
conn.connect("rtmp:/127.0.0.1/my_app");
conn.connect("rtmp:/my_app");
but still no luck.
What seems to be the problem in my configuration?
By the way, I tried to disable the XAMMP but stll it cannot
establish a connection?
Tried to run it in macromedia flash 8 using alt+enter and
through the
webserver using the publish html and swf files but still the
same.
Ive been working on this for days.
Im desperate,i need to start working on the application
already.
Somebody please help..
tnx..also be sure to check your log files (or you can go in
through the admin console and view the server log).
with this particular error, i personally had:
"Asynchronous I/O operation failed (Failed to attach to
completion port: The parameter is incorrect."
if you do a search on this error you will find not so much
information. i was able to get my application working using the
rtmpt protocol, but now, after coming back to work and booting my
machine, it's not working again and i have the same error.
things i've tried:
1) i shut down all anti-virus and firewall applications and
services
2) run netstat -a to see what is running and what ports are
being used
3) try specifying a different port for FMS to run on (default
= 1935). this can be changed via $InstallDirectory$\conf\fms.ini
(in windows). Inside the file search for ADAPTOR.HOSTPORT and
change the value to whatever port you want to try.
4) try variations of the url e.g. rtmp:/ rtmpt:/
rtmpt://localhost rtmpt://localhost:1935 etc.
5) make sure you don't have programs like netlimiter
installed as this is a known app that can cause problems w/ FMS by
intercepting system calls on the machine.
If you do find something that works, please contribute to
this thread as it could become valuable for others having these
issues. -
Getting NetConnection.Connect.Rejected
I signed up with a FMS hosting service. They have a nice
interface where I was able to install an application. I called it
"simple", cause its bare bones simple. After installing, it gives
me the rtmp connection string. Problem is - I get
NetConnection.Connect.Rejected every time. I tried removing it, and
installing again. But same thing.
This is in frame 1. Is there something wrong with this?
my_nc = new NetConnection();
my_nc.onStatus = function (info) {
switch(info.code)
case "NetConnection.Connect.Success":
textbox.text = "success" + "\n";
break;
case "NetConnection.Connect.Rejected":
textbox.text = "rejected" + "\n";
textbox.text += info.application.msg + "\n";
textbox.text += "Event: " + info.code + "\n";
textbox.text += "Type: " + info.level + "\n";
textbox.text += "Message:" + info.description + "\n";
break;
case "NetConnection.Connect.Failed":
textbox.text = "failed";
break;
case "NetConnection.Connect.Closed":
textbox.text += "Connection closed.";
break;
my_nc.connect("rtmp://exx3333.rtmphost.com/simple");
(I didn't put in the exact rtmp string in there, since this
is a public forum)
The result I get printed out in the text box is:
rejected
undefined
Event: NetConnection.Connect.Rejected
Type: error
Message:[ Server.Reject ] : (_defaultRoot_, _defaultVHost_) :
Application (simple) is not defined.
But - the hosting service's interface panel shows that
application "simple" is there. I sent the hosting service a support
request, but I probably won't hear back from them until
Monday.Hi Cisco_s,
Your code looks good - I think there's nothing you can do
other than wait. Apparently there's something wrong with the VHOST
configuration on their side. -
I trace data On Instance DEV_W0 the had Error as below
A *** ERROR => RFC ======> connection closed (no data)
Please Kindly verify the cuase and recommend in this issue .

Hiiii friends
I have configured the connection factory for FTP Adapter (not defined any connection pool). My BPEL process poll the ftp location to get the file.
But no bpel instance is getting generated and domain.log shows the following error. Can you help me in this issue ?

I am not sure what exactly is happening here. I have already established the successful connection with the same FTP server using different FTP clients.sounds like the ftp server closed the connection. did you try to use other ftp clients from the same machine where the bpel engine is running?

Connection closed by remote host on SOAP Receiver Scenario
Hi Experts,
I implemented a RFC to SOAP Receiver scenario, consuming an external
Web Service with SSL security, using SAP PI 7.1. I configured the SOAP
Receiver Adapter with Proxy e Proxy User, and it shows the
message u201CConnection closed by remote hostu201D. I have checked with
Network team, about the firewall restrictions, and they told me it was
pass by firewall. I installed the SOAP UI on the PI DEV Server to test
the SOAP Requets and it worked. Only on the PI it shows this error
message. I traced log at SLL service in the Sap Netweaver Administrator
and I didnu2019t get success.
Long text error:
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException:
java.io.EOFException: Connection closed by remote
Please, could you help me about this error?
Fábio FerriHi Fabio,
You need to set higher trace level in order to get more information in your trace file.
If you think it is related to security then set logging level of components com.sap.aii.security.lib and com.sap.aii.af.security to DEBUG in Visual Admin's log configurator. Also set com.sap.aii.af.mp.soap and com.sap.aii.messaging to DEBUG level.
And then try sending messages and see whether you have received more informaiton in trace file, but don't forget to revert back the change once you finish testing otherwise it will filled up your diskspace.
Best regards,
Pinkle -

Netconnection.connect.failed
hi, all. i am a freshman in the flash media server. I write
the client with the flex, and the server is the flash media
server2, when i connect to the server, the test information tells
me the message: netconnection.connect.failed. but i write some
trace code in the server, the server log has shown them, i don't
know if i have connected the server, but when i connect to my
server with other's computer, it give me a error: Unhandled
NetStatusEvent:level=error, code=NetConnection.Connect.Failed
WebService/linkserver() at WebService/__btn1_click() at
[mouseEvent].
as follow the source code
the client:

<mx:Button id="button2" label="linkserver"

</mx:Application>
server( main.asc)
application.onConnect=function(client,name){

application.rejectConnection(client, {msg:"server don't

if(name=="b"){
trace("succeful");
this.acceptConnection(client);You may have the app set to rtmp:/app or rtmp://localhost/app
but should be rtmp://public ip to server/app or
rtmpt://public ip to server:1935/app
Also firewalls and some antivirus or security programs make
stop the connection.
HTH -
Hi folks,
my friday crusher:
We have a sync RFC-PI-SOAP scenario.
All is working fine in Dev system.
After moving into Test following error is displayed as the SOAP response message:
- <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
<SAP:Category>XIAdapterFramework</SAP:Category>
<SAP:Code area="MESSAGE">GENERAL</SAP:Code>
<SAP:P1 />
<SAP:P2 />
<SAP:P3 />
<SAP:P4 />
<SAP:AdditionalText>com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.EOFException: Connection closed by remote host.</SAP:AdditionalText>
<SAP:Stack />
<SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
</SAP:Error>
Also Channel Monitoring says:
Message-Verarbeitung fehlgeschlagen. Grund: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.EOFException: Connection closed by remote host.
Couldn´t find any hints in SDN and the web to this issue.
Does anyone of you has made experiences with that problem?
Maybe it´s a system parameter for time out SOAP connections....?
Many thanks for your help
-and-
have a great weekend!
Cheers
AndréVery strange!
But I have the solution:
I have looked into channel monitoring / RWB again.
There I saw, this PI is using two clusters on two application servers.
Everytime the SOAP call is executed through the frist cluster, all was fine.
But no SOAP call was successfully executed by the second cluster.
Fortuity? No!
The second cluster node / app server wasn´t registered for internet access in the used proxy server.
So it wasn´t an PI issue.
Now, all is fine & I´m happy!
Thanks @all for helping!
Cheers,
André -
TNS: connection closed error with SQL*net
Hi all,
I've got a new installation of Oracle 11.1.0.6.0 enterprise (Linux). It works fine with direct sqlplus connections but I'm having problems with SQL*net and JDBC thin client connections.
The database is built correctly and works fine:

but if I try to connect using SQL*net I get errors. I have my TNS listener configured and it starts without errors, reporting the database as a service, and tnsping is fine:

This is a new instance of Oracle so there is no problem with listener.log being too large (as I've seen elsewhere). I've also tried increasing PROCESSES and SESSIONS in the initSID.ora file without any impact. The listener ports are open through the firewall (and disabling it temporarily makes no difference).
Any suggestions?!
Thanks, MattThis means nothing to me, but it could to someone else......

Openssh 3.18.1 on Solaris 8: sftp connection closed
Hi, to setup a secure environment for file transfer, I have installed the following packages in my solaris 8.
- openssh-3.8
- openssl-0.9.7d-Solaris8-local
- prngd-0.9.26-Solaris8-local
- tcpwrappers-7.6-Solaris8-local
- zlib-1.2.1-Solaris8-local
I do not have any problem with SSH but I kept getting Connection Closed when I tried to sftp or scp into my Solaris 8. I have verified the user info is correct but have really no idea what is the problem. Following is the debug output from a windows client to my solaris 8:

SFTP MGET of large files fails - connection closed - problem with spool file
I have a new SFTP job to get files from an FTP Server. The files are large (80mg, 150mg). I can get smaller files from the ftp site with no issue, but when attempting the larger files the job completes abnormally after 2 min 1 sec. each time. I can see the file is created on our local file system with 0 bytes, then when the FTP job fails, the 0 byte file is deleted.
Is there a limit to how large an ftp file can be in Tidal? How long an ftp job can run?
The error in the job audit is Problem with spool file for job XXXX_SFTPGet and an exit code of 127 (whatever that is).
In the log, the error is that the connection was closed. I have checked with the ftp host and their logs show that we are disconnecting unexpectedly also.
Below is an excerpt from the log

We wound up purchasing our own FTP software (ipswitch MOVEit Central & DMZ) because we also had the need to host as well as Get/Put to other FTP sites. It now does all our FTP and internal file delivery activity (we use it's api and call from tidal if we need to trigger inside a workflow)
