Netctl - Per interface configuration?

With netcfg, you were able to have configuration files which defined global settings for each network interface. Is there any equivalent capability on netctl?

Use default interface . This will reset config of ur router without affecting other interfaces

  • Measure data through XI per interface/communication channel

Is there a way to measure the data through XI per interface/communication channel. SXMS_XI_AUDIT_DISPLAY gives you a list of the total throughput in XI, but I would like this to be specified per interface or communication channel.
    Is this possible?

Go to RWB -> Performance Monitoring -> Here you can specify the interface name and time interval and it will give you all the details like Message Size, Processing Time, Start-End of processing interval etc.

  • WLC DHCP Settings - Under Dynamic Interface configuration

    Hi Guys,
If I have a dynamic interface that is connected to a subnet where the router interfaces have DHCP servers configured under the helper address commands, do I need to configure the DHCP fields under the dynamic interface configuration?
I have helper address configured on the connected routers AND these fields configured with the same DHCP servers.
Just wondering if I can take the IPs out of the WLC configuration?
    Many thx indeed,
    Ken

Ken, the DHCP address under the dynamic interface, is the address the WLC will unicast the DHCP request to when a client tries to use that interface. Under normal operation this address is needed. There is a way to get the WLC to bridge the packet to the wire so that it is a broadcast instead of a unicast packet. CLI command is config dhcp proxy disable.
But I do believe that even if you issue the CLI command, the software wants the DHCP address listed under the dynamic interface.

    Steve

  • How to enter into interface configuration mode on aironet 1130AG

How can I enter into "interface configuration" on Aironet 1130AG, AIR-LAP1042N?
When I put following commands in enable
    conf t
    interface Dot11Radio1
but, it fails and I cannot enter into  "interface configuration".
How can I do this ?
The reason why I enter into
    conf t
    interface Dot11Radio1
because I want to disable cdp via CLI ( serial console).
    best regards

    George,
I ran into an exception the other day – lightweight 3500s (and presumably 3600s) are allowing config t without the debug precursor. The lab version I’m doing this on is 7.0.220.0. Do you have same/different results? I’m not sure if this is tied to the AP model or the lw code they’re running. I’ll need to do some more testing.

  • Pix515 multiple interface configuration

Hi, actually i have this scenario:pix 515e version 6.2(2) with on board
6 interfaces but now configure with 3 interfaces (in this mode):
    INTERNET ROUTER (ETH 172.17.10.1)
    I
    I
    I
    I(OUTSIDE - 172.17.10.2)
    PIX -INTF2--.2--------------(172.17.12.0/29)--------.3(PARTNER)
    INSIDE (172.17.8.1/23)
    I
    I
    I
    I
    MY LAN
then 3 interfaces configuration without NAT.
    there are the static routes:
    route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.17.10.1 1 route intf2 192.168.54.209 255.255.255.255 172.17.12.3 1 route intf2 192.168.129.0 255.255.255.0 172.17.12.3 1 route intf2 192.168.131.0 255.255.255.0 172.17.12.3 1 route intf2 192.168.134.0 255.255.255.0 172.17.12.3 1
traffic outcomes from my default gateway coming out from 172.17.10.1, traffic out/in from /to network 192.168.x.x/16 is forwarded from intf2 this scenario works well.
but tomorrow i must add new two routers on 2 new interfaces and i would have this new scenario:
    ISP ROUTER (.3 ) ISP ROUTER (.1)
    \ I
    172.17.14.0/30 \ I 172.17.10.0/30

    INSIDE (172.17.8.1/23)
    I
    I
    I
    I
    I
    MY LAN
and this would have to be future situation:
the traffic that outcomes from 172.17.8.1/25 coming out from
    172.17.10.1
the traffic that outcomes from 172.17.8.128/25 coming out from a new interface 172.17.14.3 except traffic out/in from 192.168.0.0/16 coming out from 172.17.12.3 traffic that outcomes from 172.17.9.1/25 coming out from interface
172.17.14.3 except traffic out/in 192.168.0.0/16 coming out from
    172.17.13.3
traffic outcomes from 172.17.9.128/25 coming out from 172.17.10.1
    is it possible this scenario?

  • ACS-4.1 - doesn't display Radius(Nortel) in Interface configuration

We have one ACS running over Windows that we can see the Radius(Nortel) option in Interface Configuration.
Have anyone treated with this issue?

That is probably because you have no AAA device configured for Radius (Nortel). IF you configure one, it will appear in the interface configuration

  • Should I install Windows 8 32 Bit or 64 as per my configuration??

I currently have Window 7 32 Bit installed on my computer !
I want to switch to Windows 8!
    My PC configuration:
Processor:  INTEL CORE 2 DUO 2.00 GHZ
Graphic Card: NVIDEA G FORCE 8400GS 512 MB
    RAM: 1.5 GB
Please tell me which suits best 32 or 64?
And will 32 Bit will install on my Pc as per the above config or not !

    Hi Dhruv,
See there is no visible difference between windows 32 bit or 64 bit of any windows version.
You can use any of them in your system but 1st of all check if you have drivers available for 64bit version coz you can not use 32 bit driver.so check your computer manufacturer website for drivers 1st.
Apart from this you will face few problems while installing your old application in 64bit (ie-antivirus 64bit or 32bit).
Go ahead ..and let me know if you face any problem.

Can you provide more details like what you are expecting..
If my understanding is correct you want to implement a mappings in seeburger bic mapping tool for your sceanrio which can take care of conversions right?
if yes provide more details about your scenario

  • Create Document (Customer Invoice) in FI per Interface (Webservice, BAPI)

I try to post a accouting document in SAP FI per BAPI respeticly webserivce from outside of the system. The idea is to manage this service in the context of SAP BPM - a invoice for a customer should be entered in the system without manuell using the specific TCode.
I found to the business objekt "AcctngDocument" in the BAPI Explorer the BAPI "AcctngDocument.Post" of my ERP-System:
path: BAPI Explorer --> Accounting - General --> Accounting Interface --> AcctngDocument --> Post
    function module: BAPIACC_DOCUMENT_POST_
    My Problems are:
    - If I test the function, I get a result but the result is not really posted in the ERP-System.
    - I try to book a open item on the customer account and a item on the revenue account (G/L-Account); but I cannot decide between debit and credit respectivly a specific posting key
    My Questions:
    - Do somebody know the fittest function module for my problem (do I use the best function module or is there any other)?
    - How can I appoint, which item should be booked on debit or credit or how can I enter a special posting key?
    Thanks for help...

    Hi Eli,
    thanks for your both answers.
Now I know, that I don't have to find a data field to insert the posting key in the BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST. The sign of the amount determine which account get the debit or credit position.
And I know, that I have to use the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT to post a document in real (not test).
In the meantime I found the same information (in a detailed way) in SAP note 306504.
    Thanks for your help again.
    Best regards,
    Torsten

  • Interface configuration in UCS 6120

Experts, first I need to admit I am new to this technology.
With reference to some issue in our network I have identified I need to change the native vlan configuration for the UCS 6120 from the nxos cli.
Question is how to do this?
I have looged into the cli and see this command:
    hou-rd-ucs03-6120-A(nxos)# sh run int eth1/1
    !Command: show running-config interface Ethernet1/1
    !Time: Thu Jul 12 06:43:32 2012
    version 5.0(3)N2(2.02q)
    interface Ethernet1/1
      description U: Uplink
      switchport mode trunk
      switchport trunk native vlan 15
      switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,10,15,20,25,29-32,34
      spanning-tree bpduguard disable
      no shutdown
    hou-rd-ucs03-6120-A(nxos)#
I need to change that native vlan to 3, how do I do this?
    Regards,
    Nikhil

    Hello Nikhil,
The NX-OS CLI context on Fabric Interconnect ( FI ) is read only and we cannot make any configuration changes from that space.
You need to use UCS Manager to make the necessary changes.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/unified_computing/ucs/sw/gui/config/guide/2.0/b_UCSM_GUI_Configuration_Guide_2_0.html
I guess you might have disjoint L2 where different uplinks needs to have different native VLANs.
You need to configure under LAN tab using LAN manager.
