Netflix compatible with 5.1.1 on iTunes?

I recently had to reset my first gen iPad. It was not backed up to the computer. As a result, it deleted the legacy version of Netflix that I had just installed in August 2014.
I have tried to reinstall Netflix several ways, but it will no longer allow me to download any older versions of the app that is compatible with 5.1.1. I also have this problem with Tapatalk. It seems that this is a result of the recent updates to the App Store.
Does anyone know how I can locate and reinstall compatible versions of Netflix or any other apps? I have called both Apple and Netflix, and neither were able to provide any answers. Any help would be much appreciated!

How have you been trying to download older versions ? If the developers of those apps support the downloading of previous compatible versions then you should be able to download them via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad (so the app needs to be in your account's purchase history, which Netflix and Tapatalk should be if you had previously had them on your iPad)- but not all developers support it, whether Netflix and/or Tapatalk do I don't know.

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

I've upgraded to iLife '08 and am using the new Events feature of iPhoto and am loving it... and in the process I'm realizing that I can nix my own "Albums" that are no longer needed! iPads are absolutely compatible with Windows PCs. Through iTunes File Sharing you can transfer documents from supported apps to your computer. Most professors don't support iWork file formats, however iWork on the iPad can save in either iWork format or Microsoft Office format so you will be fine as long as you save it as an Office format.

How can I find an erlier version of the Netflix iPad app compatible with 1st generation iPads?

I have 2 first generation iPads. One has an early version of the Netflix app that is compatible with the ios, the other does not have the app. When I try to download the app to the second iPad, I get nowhere becuse the only thing offered requires an ios that is beyond that supported by my iPad. I can't find a work around and I am not offered the option to download early versions of the app.

I believe the prompt will only appear if you already have the old version installed and an update is presented, though I could be mistaken. Have you looked in the Purchases area of the App Store app when signed in using the account under which you downloaded the old version to see if the old version still appears there?
If not, do you have the old version in iTunes on your computer, or if not is it still on that other iPad. If so, you should be able to get it into iTunes and from there sync it to the second iPad.

I just tried running the Lenovo Hard Drive Quick Test both in normal mode and in safe mode. Both times it indicated a failed read test on the HDD. The last two tests also failed. I forget what those tests were called.
I am really beginning to think I have a bad HDD and the problem just happens to be in the reserved partition where my factory system software resides.

Hello forum! i just setup a TC with two AE with air iTunes. They both work excellent with the sort pauses. Today i decide to run the Ethernet cable to each AE. Did the setup as commanded, i just tested it with a Macbook and MacbookPro and both work fine no more lack(yey). Everything is up to date TC 7.5.1 and AE 7.4.2.
My problem is that when trying to connect from a Windows 7 pc just one AE is connected, the other gives me this message ""The Remote speaker is not compatible with this version of iTunes"" i did every i could, hard reset on both, new setup same OS on both... so i really do not understand what the problem.
i have the lasted iTunes on the pc( re-downloaded twice today)
or
if i just select the AE that give me the error work's fine, but when i add the second one it says it been used by someones else.
please help.......

What program do you run?
Please contact the software provider to confirm if this 32-bit program can run in 64-bit Windows.
As some programs can only run in specific version of Windows, please download the right version of software.
Most programs designed for the 32-bit version of Windows will work on the 64-bit version of Windows. Notable exceptions are many antivirus programs.
Device drivers designed for the 32-bit version of Windows don't work on computers running a 64-bit version of Windows too.

As I said the iTunes program on the computer. You open iTunes on the computer and go to the View menue in the upper rightand then click on preferences. Go to Devices and delete the backup.

Unable to sync or backup my iPad2 with the new iTunes. I keep getting the error ""iTunes could not back up the iPad because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPad.". I've deleted all the old backups but still get this.

I'm totally frustrated by iTunes and don't know how to solve my problem. Like a lot of people on here I'm not able to sync or back up my iPad2 with my iTunes (version 10.4.1.10). I'm running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit. My iTunes worked just fine until the 10.4.xx updates came out and since June I've not been able to back up or sync the iPad2.

I had the exact same thing with my shuffle - same error message saying that it was corrupt so I restored it (wiping everything in the process) and the same message came up as soon as it reloaded. Thank god I didn't try it with my iPod or iPhone first. So many issues with this new version of iTunes!!!!!!!!
