Netflix doesn't appear on my home screen on apple tv
I got an apple tv and it was working just fine. a couple days ago I tried to rent a movie from the itunes store but I live in uruguay and it could not be done. after that, all my applications from the home screen (netflix, youtube, etc.) where gone. I restarted the device and nothing happened so I decided to restore it and configure it all over again, but nothing happened! they are still not appearing! can anybody tell me what I should do to make it work again?

The device is having issues connecting to the network and therefore the Internet.
Rectify the connectivity issue.

I downloaded AirPlayIt yesterday from the app store. It was on my iPad yesterday. Today, however, the app icon does not appear on my home screen. When I go into apps it is there but it doesn't have an "Open" choice. There is only a cloud with an arrow pointing down. When I click on the app it pops up but there is no open button. How can I remove it? Tapping it won't work as it isn't on my home screen.

I have just uploaded the new software and a strange app has appeared on my home screen ( a grey target, panorama thing without the man) there is no title under it and I can't seem to delete it. What is it? Do I need it? How do I delete it?

I have been opening up my photos from My Pictures folder and Elements 12 opens up but the photo doesn't appear in the image screen. Over the weekend it was working fine. I tried the other photo software I have and they open up in those but not in the elements 12.
Which operating system are you running on?
How are you trying to open the photos?
- from windows explorer? - double licking or right clicking and selecting Open with?
- by loading the editor and go to File -> Open?
Looking back at your other threads you seem to have had this problem before - what keeps changing?

HT1551 Hi. The TV shows icon does not appear on my home screen. Any ideas how I can locate it?
Icons are missing from my home screen.
The TV show icon was missing today. I updated with the latest software - now the TV and movie icons are both missing.

There are reports of TV Shows and/or Movies missing from users screens, initially it looked like this might be an issue in the UK only, but it may well be more widespread. It appears to be an issue that can't be fixed by the user, you will need to wait until this is resolved by Apple. -
Nano doesn't appear in itunes "devices" screen
1. New nano 8G doesn't appear in itunes devices.
2. Connected ipod to comupter. Fives hours later nano screen shows "Connected" No other action.
3. How do I get up and running?Have you had a chance to look at these troubleshooting pages? They may be of some help:

I bought a used ipad 1. There is no library logo on home screen. How do I make it appear?

In the iBooks app the default screen is your bookshelf, you won't have a Library button unless you go into the store (there should be a Store button at the top left of the screen to go into the Store ; when you are in the store that button should change to Library to take you back to the bookshelf).
If you are in a book in the app then tap the book and you should get a number of icons along the top of the screen, including Library to exit the book and go back to the bookshelf. -
Two days ago all my text messages became scrambled. I get notified when a new message appears on my locked home screen, but when I open them up, they disappear until I answer the thread. Unfortunately, I can't read the entire message when it is on the locked home screen. When I reply, other texts are mixed in under the person's thread I am trying to answer. I deleted all old texts in hope that this would resolve itself, but it became worse! I have not changed any setting. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!
Same thing is happening to me whethere the texts are received on the imessage or other text message apps. The message is showing on the lock screen halfway and when I try to pull it it is not here. This is happening since IOS 7. Is there still a glitch??

Apps From folders re-appearing on the home screen
This is the second time. An app I downloaded a week ago and put into a folder re-appeared back on the home screen outside of the folder when I woke my iPad (2012) a few minutes ago. It's just weird. I think it might be happening when the iPad is syncing via wifi.
That is a very distinct possibility that what you suspect could be happening. How to pervent it, I don't have a clue. I have seen other users talk about folder corruption or folder destruction when they sync their iPads, so while I don't think it's a widespread issue by any means, it does occur, even thought there is no reason why it should.

I just updated my iPhone 4s to IOS 7 and now all my icons for apps I had previously downloaded B4 the upgrade dont show on my home screen,does anyone know what happen and how I can get the icons back on my screen??
Apps are in iTunes, are not part of the backup and when you updated the phone, you need to sync that content back.

I updated my 3GS to the latest OS. iTunes was updated first, when iTunes finishes updating my phone a box pops up that says my phone is in recovery mode so I click the update button and it goes the whole update cycle again. I unplugged my phone after 4 cycles of updating but now there is NOTHING on my phone, not even the home screen just the itunes symbol . I've tried rebooting my phone but there is still nothing there. HELP!!!!! What can I do
