Netflix stopped streaming movies on Apple TV but still works on PS3

My Apple TV has stopped playing movies/shows from Netflix. I am able to see the movies available, but when I hit play, it just refreshes the same screen. I checked the software update and it says it's up to date. Movies do play on my PS3, but I prefer the user interface of Apple TV. Any thoughts?

had exact same problem. unplugging apple tv reset it n fixed it. did u try that?

Yes, to be honest I was a little surprised myself. But it absolutely didn't connect when plugged into the test socket (I even tried to force a connection from the Home Hub manager but it wasn't having it). It is definitely the master socket. The only extension is a small piece of (engineer installed) phone cable to link the hub and the master socket (because the socket and mains power are unhelpfully on opposite walls of the hallway).
I ran the Java download for Google anyway and it only took about an hour. The speedtester results are as follows:
Download speed achieved during the test was - 109 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 50-250 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :2560 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 135 Kbps
I don't as a rule disconnect / reboot the hub; today it has been dropping off on its own, while several days ago I tried a few reboots just to try and get a connection.
Additional info - my exchange is actually called Claypole Fenton (or vice versa). Whatever, my profile has probably been welded to 135k for days and days.

Hi vazandrew, thanks for your help, Ive just checked, both home sharings ie Apple TV and itunes on my laptop, and they were both on , but for the heck of it, I turned them off and back on again. I still have the same problem.
Im looking in purchased films, am I looking in the right place ?

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

The free trial that we offer is for Acrobat (we don't offer trials of the online services). So, the first thing you need to do is download Acrobat from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html. When you launch it the first time after installing it, you should be prompted to accept the end-user license agreement.
Then, so convert PDF files to Word, choose File > Save as Other > Microsoft Word > Word Document.

Have you tried a reboot?
What is your connection speed via speedtest.net?
Check istumbler or netstumbler to see about network interference
Make sure DNS is set correctly (settings - general - network - configure DNS - automatic)
