Netgear Attached To APExtreme - Will This Work? (Why isn't it)

Greetings,
I'm the happy owner of an Airport Extreme, with a question/problem.
Currently I have my APExtreme connected to my cable modem and setup for N wireless only. It's set for DHCP range of 10.1.x.x Connected to the APExtreme is 1 wired iMac, 1 wireless MacBookPro and a Netgear B/G wireless router/hub.
Connected to the netgear are printers, PCs, TiVos, oh my. Mainly because I wanted to take full advantage of 802.11N all to my MBP. The Netgear serves DHCP range of 192.168.1.x. Also because the network adapter on my TiVo can't do WAP security, only WEP. (The APExtreme says it can set to WEP, but it still seems to be WAP)
My issue is, I cannot print from my Macs to a 192.168.1.x IP'd printer. I recall something about the 192.168.1.x prohibiting otuside router talk (please excuse the lack of tech speak)
Is there a way to configure things such that I can leave all the non-Apple equipment on the Netgear and still be able to print?

The problem is caused by the Netgear creating a separate subnet which is not addressable from the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) since it is attached to the Netgear's WAN/internet side.
You should be able to solve the issue by disabling the Netgear's DHCP server. This will place all the devices attached to the Netgear and all the device attached to the AEBS on the same subnet.

Well, since no one replied, I took the plunge and went ahead and did it.
Result: It worked!
Now, after following the steps in the links provided above, when I plug my iPod Nano into my Mac, the Nano DOESN'T mount as an external drive -- it doesn't appear on the Desktop, it doesn't appear in iTunes, it doesn't appear anywhere; and when I simply unplug the Nano, nothing happens -- I DON'T get an error message from the Mac telling me I ought to have ejected the disk beforehand. That's because the OS does not even know that a disk has been connected.
So: Success.
One little detail: Despite the fact that the Mac does not mount the iPod, on the iPod's own screen it still gives the message "Connected - Eject before disconnecting." However, it is safe to completely ignore that message, and just plug it unceremoniously anyway -- nothing will happen, and as soon as you unplug the iPod, its screen message does in fact change to "Safe to Disconnect." So, I think the iPod just gives the "Eject before disconnecting" message as a default screen, since there's no way for it to know that the Mac doesn't recognize it or mount it.
So anybody seeing this in the future who wants to recharge your iPods without having to "Eject" them before disconnecting them: Follow the links above, and your problem will be solved.

Also i forgot to add after a night of searching how to turn the Epson Workforce 435 printer into Airprint friendly and not iPrint (which are 2 completely different things) i donwloaded a program called (AirPrint Activator) from HandyPrint. The link is below to download the software. Once i installed the application i set my printer to be shared over my Home Network (Wi-Fi Network). Once you have done that, open the AirPrint Activator application you have just downloaded, swtich it ON from OFF mode, and then you should easily see your printer name in my case EPSON Workforce 435 and then just close the application. Then go to your IOS Device like your iphone/ipad/ipod touch select a picture that you want to test print or even an attached PDF from your email, and select Print in the share button. You will then be prompted to select your printer. Your printer you automatically be recongised then just select print. And now you have a complete AirPrint ready printer with a Printer that doesnt even support the function. Im sure you can do this to all Wireless Printers, even if they came out before Apple AirPrint service launch.

You cannot merge two separate libraries across user accounts. Photos does not have the function of merging different Photos.library files. If you have Aperture then you can merge the two before migrating over to Photos.

You may be correct, but this statement is quite confusing in that context:

Will this work to determine the system byte order?

I need to be able to determine, preferably without relying on conditional disable symbols, whether the system on which a VI is run uses big-endian byte order. What I came up with was to flatten a U32 containing 0xDDCCBBAA to string using the unknown system byte order, and unflatten using a big-endian byte order. If the pre- and post-flattening U32's are equal, the system must be use big-endian byte order. Two questions:
1. Will this work? It recognizes, correctly, that my PC does not use big-endian byte order, but I don't have any big-endian targets to test it out on (see #3).
2. Is there a better way? Perhaps something already built into LabVIEW?
3. Would somebody with a big-endian target verify that my VI detects it as big-endian?

You can simplify your VI a little. Since you know what the result of the string flattening should be in big endian, just compare the string.

Mac Mini, Sonology NAS, And Apple AirPort wireless router, Will this work?

OK, so my plan is to create a home movie server for the living room and the kitchen as illustrated in the diagram. I Plan on using a mac mini (current generation) as the liaison between the NAS and the receiver. I will install XMBC on the mac mini’s as a movie organizing software. I will use the iPad app to control and select movies from the system. This setup will repeat in the kitchen with the exception that I will connect the mac mini directly to the television in which the audio out will go to a jack which connects to the in ceiling speakers. Will this work? Are there any other suggestions that anyone has to make it more streamline? I also assume that there can be simultaneous movies being watched in both rooms via the NAS. My current set up of a 8 core 2.26 Xeon mac pro (Early 2009) has been giving me insufficient power for what i need to do. I am not willing to pay for the apple upgrade to only 2.93 for an 8 core, so I am considering upgrading to two six core 3.33 GHz Xeon X5680's, or two six core 2.93 GHz Xeon X5670's. (I chose those because i'm guessing two i7 980 processors won't fit on a Xeon board). Totalling 12 cores.
The question comes down to, will this work, will the processor fit in the socket? If so, what is involved, what risks are there, what changes would need to be made? Would it work on OS X, or would it only run under windows, etc? Or would it not even work at all?
(And i'd rather not buy a PC with that money.)

Hi There,
In order to download / install Captivate 8 32 bit, you have to download 2 files ( .7z and .exe ) at same location/ folder.
Once both files downloaded completely then you have to run .exe file and it will extract .7z file first and then it will initialize the installer. You do not have to open .7z file.
Let me provide you the download links of Captivate 8 32 bit :-

No, AirPort Utility prompts you with step-by-step questions and makes configuration simple.
The Express and Extreme have the same transmitter power specifications, so I suggest the $99 Express as an extender, should you need one. Beware that you cannot add a second Express to wirelessly extend the network any further - as the following excerpt from Extending the range of your wireless network by adding additional Wi-Fi base stations explains:
Extended network range considerations
In the above example the primary Wi-Fi base station ➊ is out of wireless range of the extended Wi-Fi base station ➋, therefore the extended Wi-Fi base station cannot join or extend the wireless network. The extended Wi-Fi base station must be moved to a location that is within Wi-Fi range of the primary Wi-Fi base station.
Important Note
If another extended Wi-Fi base station ➋ is placed between the primary Wi-Fi base station ➊ and the extended Wi-Fi base station ➌, the extended Wi-Fi base station ➌ will not allow clients to join it. All extended Wi-Fi base stations must be in direct range of the primary Wi-Fi base station.
A "roaming network" that Bob described, in which all base stations are connected with an Ethernet cable, is by far the best alternative.

You will need a Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter... may also need a Firewire 800 to 400 connector/adapter.
Also need to make sure Presonus has Maverick drivers for the FSP.
