Netinstall with txt file to name the computers.

Hi,
I am new to ther OSX Server, I managed to clone a macbook with netinstall. Since I am going to clone 34 macbooks for my students with same image I need to name them and bind them to OD.
To name the computer I hav created a txt file with tab delimited columns which look like this:
00:0D:93:49:FD:E1 ->tab Computer_Name ->tab Host_Name
00:0D:93:49:FD:E2 ->tab Computer_Name ->tab Host_Name
Can some one please verify that the txt file will work with the netinstall to specify computer names?

This is the correct textual format. What Apple forgets to tell you is the file needs +UNIX line endings+, not Macintosh line endings. I use TextWrangler to save the file in UNIX format. Works like a charm.

Just copy the code below and execute . I just checked and found the exact values on attachment with no blank lines. This is more simple than the one u have written , just include ur data upload logic . For ITAB values to be attached i have written a simple logic to retrive from EKPO. Just copy this code and execute. u will understand then.
I understand that ur initial requirement was to attach the file directly and not to upload and attach. If u still want to go for the old requirement then check out the code(2nd program of the two that i have sent) that i have sent u on ur previous post.

How can i open a DOC or TXT file and insert the data into table?
I have a doc file . the doc include some columns and some rows.(for example 'ID,Name,Date,...').
I'd like open DOC file and I'd like insert them into the table with same columns.

I can´t recreate my physical standby.
It worked in the past.
Now I reinstalled the 3 standbyclients.
Copied the spfile from the primary - modified the entries and did a rman backup.
But when issuing the duplicate database command - it comes up with the error above

I feel you are using ASM but still check the below details:
Cause
Production and Auxiliary have same directory structure and are running on two different machines. RMAN must be told not check that the target datafiles are sharing the same names as the duplicated files being created. Otherwise, the following errors will be returned:
RMAN-05001: auxiliary filename /qmaxnt/u04/qmaxntorafiles/table/QMAXAD08_03.dbf
conflicts with a file used by the target database
RMAN-05001: auxiliary filename /qmaxnt/u04/qmaxntorafiles/table/QMAXAD08_02.dbf
Solution
To implement the solution, please use nofilenamecheck in syntax as follows:
1. Connect to Target, auxiliary, and rman catalog and
2. use script as

allocate auxiliary channel aux1 type 'sbt_tape';
allocate auxiliary channel aux2 type 'sbt_tape';

I am working cs4. / as 3.0
I need some help understanding placing text with .txt files.
I have a txt & css file in my site folder.
Do I need to add a line to my script to locate the files in

Problem in send mail with .txt file attached

According to the diferent checks, I found the next problems:
1.- Between each caracters there is an space, example:(E Q U I P M E N T) and could be (EQUIPMENT), the last one is the correct form.
2.- For example, two registers in my internal table appear in one line of my .txt file, but i want that each register of my internal table appear in differents lines of my .txt file.
3.- The length of each register of my internal table (objbin) is 255 characters, but i really want that the length of each register of my internal table be 1023 characters.

Read from .txt file and output the content as two arrays

I am using the contoured move to control the x-y stage. The trajectory datas for x and y axis are generated using my interpolation program and it is stored in a .txt file as two columns. What I want to do is read .txt file and output the content of this file as two arrays. Is there anyone has any ideas? Thanks, the .txt file is attached.

Hi Awen,
This is quite easy to do, you can merely use the "read from spreadsheet file" function to get a 2D array (2 columns and n rows) and then use the index array function to get whatever row/colums you want..

Nobody's answering because your question is not at all clear.
Do you want to insert permanent bookmarks in the txt file that your MIDlet will recognize and list for the user to select?
or
Do you want your MIDlet to allow the user to save bookmarks to be able to get back to the same point later?
and
Does your MIDlet use one specific txt file or does the user choose the file to open (i.e. if you are saving bookmarks, are they to be file-specific)?
Explain your need in adequate detail, someone will respond.

Packager fails with "Maximum file path name exceeded" on InCopy

Attempting to build the full suite with CCP 1.5.0 Build 83, running on Window 8.1 update 64-bit.
When building a 32-bit package it reaches InCopy it always stops and provides the so helpful "Maximum file path name exceeded error". This appears to only happen when building the 32-bit package, building the 64-bit package caused no issues, and even in building the 32-bit package after the 64-bit package when everything is already downloaded the same error occurs.
Tried it with:
Cache path: C:\Users\iholmes\AppData\Local\Adobe\CCP\
Destination path: F:\ISO\Adobe\Cloud\Working\CreativeCloud-06192014x86
Also tried:
Cache path: g:\Adobe\CCP
Destination path: f:\cc\x86
These are all local paths, not mapped network drives.

(Urgent help needed) how to read txt file and store the data into 2D-array?

Hi, I have a GUI which allow to choose file from the file chooser, and when "Read file" button is pressed, I want to show the array data into the textarea.
The sample data is like this followed:

I want my program to scan through and store these data into 2D array.

1) Next time use the CODE tags. this is way too much unreadable crap.
2) The problem is your String[][] data.... the only place I see you do anything approching initializing it is
data = new String[numLines][];I think you want to do this..
data = new String[numLines][3];anyway that's why it's blowing up on the line
data[row][col]=st.nextToken();

Now i have a server name list , what i want to do was to build a array based on the txt file. The txt file looks like below.
servername1,servername2,servername3,............servernameN
Can anyone help me ,thanks soooo much.

Need a VB-Script that read a txt-file and only the lines that are new since last time

Hi,
I need help to write a VB script that read all new lines since the last time.
For example: The script reads the textfile at specific time, then 10 minutes later the script read the file again, and it should now only read the lines that are new since last time. Anyone that has such a script in your scriptingbox?

Based on the excellent idea by Pegasus, where is a VBScript solution. I use a separate file to save the last line count read from the file, then each time the file is read I update the line count. Only lines after the last count are output by the program:
