NetNewsWire Script

Question

I'm having problems with an applescript. I would appreciate any help with getting it to work.
The syntax is:
tell application "NetNewsWire"
set unreadheadlines to every headline of subscription "Engadget" whose isRead is false
get title of unreadheadlines
save as string in desktop
end tell
Whenever I try to run it I get this error, "NetNewsWire got an error: NSReceiverEvaluationScriptError: 4".

Because NetNewsWire doesn't follow convention, so you will have to do more work -**** [edit] my post get censored, what is it? we suddenly go ultra right wing? it supposed to be[/edit] d!a*m$n those SW engineers!
And then, it's your mistakes:
get title of unreadheadlines
You can get title of unreadheadlines, however, in SW world when you get something, you need to process it or store it (in something such as a variable) then process it.
save as string in desktop
Same goes with saving. ie: saving what?
to desktop? you mean erase all you desktop and replace it with what you want to save. You don't want to do that do you?
Anyway try this:
tell application "NetNewsWire"

set _sub to first subscription whose display name is "MacUpdate - Mac OS X"

There is simple way with Safari, if it is your default browser:
open location "feed://www.engadget.com/rss.xml"
