Netpoint 5.96: generate incoming payment in SAP B1

Hi,
what is the best practice in generating incoming payment in SAP B1 after the credit card have been authorized and charged? is the incoming payment will be created only by using another 3rd party addon (like AMEX)?
our customer is looking into charging the card when order is placed.
thanks
Moty

The incoming payment is created by the addon when the card is charged(also by the addon)

  • Wire transfer Incoming payment

    Hi Gurus,
i got a scenario to import wire transfer file ( one receives from bank) to sap. usually we have transaction to import the lockbox file (T-code FBL2) in to sap and do posting. Similarly, whether is there any t-code or program for importing wire transfer file and do incoming payments in sap.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Think the below would be helpful:
<b>Wire Transfer</b> - Refers to a same-day transfer of funds from an account at one bank to an account at another bank, initiated over the Fedwire system. The Fed guarantees to pass value as of the date of the Fedwire transfer is initiated provided the transfer meets all required criteria. Fedwire is a part of the Federal Reserve System Communication Systems.
<b>ACH Transfer</b> - Clearinghouse associations in many major cities have developed electronic methods of passing payments among members and other financial institutions in the region, and of exchanging payments among the ACHs themselves. ACH transfers may be either credit transfers (sending funds out) or debit transfers (pulling funds in). Either the payee or the payor may initiate them.
    <b>Differences between Wire and ACH</b>
Wire Transfer is geared to a single transfer, while ACH Transfer is geared to handling multiple transfers in a batch mode.
Wire Transfer is geared to same-day settlement, while ACH Transfer is geared to future-date settlement.
Wire Transfer is expensive because of their customized one-at-a time nature, while ACH Transfer is inexpensive because of their structured data format and high-volume batch nature.

  • Incoming Payment Posting

    Hi,
We have a seperate accounting system that handles customer payments.  The customer pays us and this payment is recorded in the external system.  The G/L Accounts in the external system are in line with the chart of accounts in SAP R/3.  Now we would like to post this incoming payment into SAP.  This means that in essence we would like to post a F-28 transaction so that the invoice is cleared in SAP R/3.  Has anyone done this before?  Does an IDoc/BAPI already exist to carry this function out?
    Thanks,
    Miguel

I am trying to use REMADV for the same purpose and am unable to get the idoc to post -- I just posted a question on the forum and then saw your post -- do you have a list of the fields I need to populate in the idoc?  any advice for the error below?

  • Error entering Incoming Payments

    Forum,
I am having problems entering Incoming payments into SAP for the last period of the current year. My Posting Period for period 12 is as follows:
    Posting Date From: 30/08/10 - To: 26/09/10
    Due Date From: 30/08/10 - To: 25/09/10
    Document Date From: 27/10/00 - To: 26/09/10
When trying to enter a posting date of 22/09/10 I get the following error: " Posting Date varies from system date [Message131-57]. The system date on the client is 27/09/10. In getting the above error I am unable to proceed with entering the incoming payment. If however I extend the Posting Date To: 30/09/10. The system will allow me to proceed. This however is not viable as it opens up to entries being posted with next year's posting date. I have also been into: Administration>System Initilization> Document settings-->Block Documents with earlier posting dates - this option is not ticked.
Would anyone be able to assist?
    Regards,
    Juan

    Thanks Jitin,
This site is on PL: 46 so is more than likely the problem. Will look to get them upgrade.

  • Help on DTW upload of Incoming Payments please

    Hi all!
For the collection of payments, my company instructs a settlement bank to debit  the accounts of a considerable number of clients at the end of each month for their billings. I have been trying to upload a list of the result of this "autodebit" at Incoming Payments in SAP using DTW. I upload two DTW templates, the "Payments" template (with the details of the payments) and the "Payments_Invoices" template (to match payments to invoices).
I fill in the following columns for the "Payments" template: RecordKey DocEntry CardCode CardName Remarks Series TransferAccount TransferDate TransferSum; for the "Payments_Invoices" template: RecordKey LineNum DocEntry SumApplied.
However, whenever I upload, the withholding tax on the invoices are discarded and the underlying journal entry transaction of the incoming payment recalculates the withholding tax based on the Transfer Sum (which is already net receivable amount). This therefore leaves my invoices partially paid because their is less credited tax  to the payment.
What should I do to avoid this from happening and closing the invoices completely? I am using SAP B1 2005 A.
    Thanks!

    Hi King Kevin,
    Thanks for replying.
I've looked at that sample, however it does not solve my problem.
I still can't match the incoming payments I upload to the invoices being paid because of a difference in the calculation of withholding tax.
Our invoices in our company are composed of 3 parts completing the actual net payable amount of the customer: the actual fee + 12% Value-added tax - 2% withholding tax on actual fee.
Problem is, when I upload this net payable amount as an incoming payment, it seems that SAP is re-calculating the creditable withholding tax of the incoming payment based on the net amount paid, and it does not use the withholding tax already on the invoice. The resulting transaction looks like an underpayment on the invoice (therefore left as an open invoice) because the credited w/tax on the invoice is less than what it should be.
I need a way to close these invoices being paid through uploading these incoming payments.
    Please help.
    Thanks!
    Paolo17

  • Outgoing payment & Incoming payment are generated negative docentry in new year

After creating New  financial year , Outgoing Payment and Incoming Payment Docentries are generated from beginning (1) but in Negative  why?.  In all documents the same is generated continuous nos from last years. why in OP & IP generated in different way.  If we create in next financial year 15-16 how the they generate.

    Hi,
As per Mr.Jitin's  reply, if any overlapping, document entry will be in negative.
Why DOCENTRY is not continuing from last years no. like other documents like OINV?
If you change document numbering, new document entries will be created.
why docentry filed is not there in VPM1 & RCT1  like INV1 & others?
Because incoming payment (ORCT) table is common to check, invoice, account, vouchers. These tables are linked with document number.
    ORCT.docentry = RCT1.Docnumber
    Hope you understand.

  • Automatic SAP Cash Application- for ACH incoming payments

    Dear experts,
We have requirement to automatically apply cash for the ACH incoming customer payments. We have been using LOCKBOX for automatic cash application for Check incoming payments. Now we want to implement automatic cash application for incoming ACH payments as well. What are available best options? Can we do this through EBS?
    Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Tina

    Hi Tina
I suggest to use a different GL code for incoming ACH payments and set this up using BAI codes from your banks EBS file. I believe you are not running EBS statement upload or manual load currently. Identify all the bank transactions and their related BAI codes with the help from your bank.
    Thanks

  • FI-CA Incoming Payment

    Hi,
In PSCD, when you post an incoming payment (transaction FP05), do you have to have FM account assignment for Cash line item?
We recently upgraded our system from 4.71 to ECC 6.0.
In 4.71, when we post incoming payment, there is no FM account assignment for Cash line item. System splits the cash line item based on the FM assignment on the offsetting Business Partner line items at the time of Forward posting the document to FI in Special Purpose Ledger document.
Currently in ECC 6.0, since system is looking for valid FM account assignment for Cash line item, I assigned some general fund. As a result of this, additional line items were generated using Fund Clearing account to balance the document by FM assignments. This has 2 negative impacts:
    a. Extra line items (Fund Clearing account) are generated in PSCD document.
    b. Cash account balance is not available by "True" funds.
I would appreciate if someone can send some info on this topic.
    Regards,
    Suresh

    Hi James,
What I could gather from your post is that you are concerned only about the creation of a file in ACH format for check payments which are being posted in to SAP as payment lots.
So, the ACH file that gets created during the FPY1 run is actually done by a standard program SAPFKPY3 with the help of preconfigured FM's linked to the ACH payment medium format.
You can view these FMs by going to Transaction Code-FQP3. Select in the ACH format and clicking on "Event Module for Payment medium formats".
Now coming to your requirement, all the payment information related to the payment lots are stored in DFKKZP table at the item level and at DFKKZK at header level.
So you can develop a program which retrieves the information from these tables as per the business requirements in a structure accepted by the std program SAPFKPY3.
You need to develop new FM's which will retrieve the information and would create the a flat file in ACH format.
You need to take care of the scenario where  the check payment in the payment lot is not actually hitting the account, but is getting routed to the payment clarification worklist. It will depend on the business requirement  whether these scenarios are to be included in the ACH file or not.
    Hope it helps...
    Thanks,
    Amlan

  • Posting Incoming Payment via T-code: F-28

    Hi SAP,
Our users need to post incoming payment via t-code F-28, but when they simulate the
transaction, only 1 line item was appeared and system gave error
message;" please correct the marked line item". Then i correct the line item (fill in business area).
Then, when i enter the next posting for 2nd line item, system gave an
error message: "You are not authorised for company code 9000". Before
this our user can do the posting via incoming payment. This problem only
happened after we upraded the system to ECC.6.
I try check Txn SU53 to display the error message, unfortunately no error was generated by
the system. Please help me. I did ask our local consultant before but they asked me to implement note 727973. we already implemented the note but the problem still happened.
Will give points for those who help me solve this problem.
    TQ
    Regards,
    Nazrul

Now that you are working on a ECC 6.0 the suitable note will be:
    "1249923 - FB05: F5 413 for field GSBER for automatically created item".
Please, apply the correction instructions on this note and afterwards the problem should be solved.

  • Incoming Payment Discount

    Greetings Gurus...
I need to generate a report to show the incoming payment discount taken during cash application to customers.  For example, a customer has an invoice for $100, they pay only $99, the AR clerk puts $1 discount in the Incoming Payments window on SAP B1.
    What table holds that $1???
How can I write SQL to show the $100, $1, and $99...
    Thanks - Zal

Thank Gordon - that is exactly what I needed.
Now that I know there are more than one sub-table, next time I am just going to go down the list of XXX1, XXX2, XXX3 until I find it...
    Take Care - Zal

  • Customer Statement showing Debits (Incoming Payments) and Credits (A/R Invo

    Hi All,
I wish to generate  a Customer Statement showing Debits (Incoming Payments) and Credits (A/R Invoices) in separate columns.
I also wish to include an ageing report as a footer. Has any one tried this before? And which tables can give me the data fields that I need??
    Warm Regards,
    Robinson.

    Hi Robinson,
We can do it by using the formula fields. try this senario
    1. F_038 Is the default Amount field given by the SAP which we can't Change this value this one is hard coded.
In general tab Link this field with F_004
    2. create one formula field (i.e. ex: F_001) in repetitive area and assign this Formula in it
    Amount(F_038)
    3. Create another Formula field (i.e. ex: F_002) in repetitive area and assign this formula in it
F_001*(-1)   in general tab link this field to the F_003
    4. Create another Formula field (i.e. Ex: F_003) in he repetitive area and assign this formula in it
    F_001<0
    5. Create another Formula field (i.e. Ex: F_004) in he repetitive area and assign this formula in it
    F_001>0
Now you can print the debit and credit amounts separately on the PLD
