I believe 623 had a bad reference to the ChilKat dll that may have caused this.
Make sure you have the latest release v626.

Which version of Web tools are you using and which version of the DI API?
This error occurs when data is being inserted into Business One by he DI API and the inserted data has more characters than the field will hold (typically it will happend on varchar or nvarchar fields).
The "try connection" button attempts to create a company object in the DI API and connect to the specified company. So the error is a bit strange in this context.

This message occurs when the listener on the remote node cannot be contacted.
Did you add the host name and IP in your DNS server?
You can try tracing the path or the route a connection is taking from the client to the server. If it encounters an error, then it returns the error stack which gives us more information when compared to an cryptic one line error.
Execute the following:
trcroute host_name
This will help you find the problem and fix it. The problem may fall into one of the following areas:
Check TNSNAMES.ORA:
The TNSNAMES.ORA may contain a wrong address. Check the host and port have been specified correctly. Check the details against the LISTENER.ORA file.
Check the remote node:
Check if the listener has been started on the remote node. Check the status with the STATUS command of the listener control utility (lsnrctl):
lsnrctl
lsnrctl> status listener_name
listener_name is the name of the listener defined in the listener.ora file. If you have not changed the listener name, then it would be called LISTENER.
If the listener has not been started, start it with the command:
lsnrctl> start listener_name
You can check if the fix worked by executing tnsping. It should return an "OK" message if the TNSPING has been successful.

Error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: cannot open shared object

I got the error when I run the Identity server "./start_ois_server"
Using Linux Threading Library.

I resolved the issue by commenting "LD" in start_ois_server.

Error while installing web tools.

I am currently trying to install E-Commerce and Web CRM on a Windows Vista desktop PC, that we are going to use as a Demo PC for potential customers. It is just a demo, so everything is being installed locally on the Demo PC. I run into an error while installing the Web Tools
After the Default Install and before I precede to the Advanced install, I browse to - localhost/B1webtools - and rather than load up the webtools license key request page, I am getting the following error.
HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found
The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.
I didn't run into any errors during the default install, and it appeared to function just right.
Does anyone know what would cause this error???

Okay so I changed my Application pool and it solved that error. Now I'm able to get the page that has a link to the request license page, but when I click on that link it gives me this error:

I have repeatedly gotten this error on all Windows Vista machines that I try and install webtools on. Does anyone have a good idea on this one?

Adobe Updater cannot install this update, and tries it again after a month, it is downloading this update once in a month, and when it fails, closes itself, and says sorry, see you later in november? And when it fails, I cannot say, please stop bugging me with this.

Error in sync Manager since installing B1 PL19

Hi,
since I installed Pl19 for B1, i get this problem in Syncmanager
when the application loads, I get a popup saying
"The procedure entry point MiniDumpWriteDump could not be located in the dynamic link library dbghelp.dll"
also in the log window of sync Manager I then see
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object" and if I click "Try Connection" I get this error (along with the original popup)
SBO Error #127: - The specified procedure could not be found.
Event log shows this information for that error:

I have tried this on two machines, and the result is the same, reinstallation of Netpoint sync manager did not change the situation.
The odd thing is that I did a full sync immediatley after upgrading to PL19 and it worked just fine, however the server then was rebooted and since then, I have this problem. DI API has been updated using the version supplied in the PL19 upgrade package.
Netpoint version is 5.9.6, Running on Windows Server 2000 SP4.

Regarding your points
-I originally went with the Synch Manager installed on my SAP Server. However this caused issues with a 3rd party addon (called Amodat) so I moved Netpoint Sync manager to another server, where it worked happily (with the DIAPI installed)
-Since the upgrade to PL19 the problems occurred, specifically when I rebooted the server two days after the upgrade, presumably at this point something got re/un registered and this caused problems.
-The PL19 DIAPI installation, (which also coincidentally killed my Amodat and required me to delete the 680318 folders from my temp directories, there is a sdn note about it somewhere) is, I am sure, the cause of the problem but then again I have removed it fully and installed ONLY the 2004 DIAPI and still I get no joy.
-The regsvr32 test on the SAPbobsCOM dll was used just to verify that the DLL was not being properly registered on the server, other than that I have used the installer to install/remove it at all times.
-My initial concern was that something had changed in the DIAPI for PL19 and that (forward compatibility aside, it doesn't always work!) the Interop dll that shipped with the Netpoint Sync was going to need updating.
-However since I did manage to get the sync Manager running on another machine since I think this is probably an issue for SAP SDK/B1 Support and not Netpoint directly.
Phew. I guess what I'm saying is, I was just hoping that someone elese had the same problem and a handy solution already, I will continue to chase this via normal support channels from a B1 perspective.

Hi Bryce,
The price list names and web codes are all different.
However, looking in the partspricingmaster table showed a duplicate price list, where everything had been duplicated except for the pricelistcode, which on one was set to 0.
I checked the partspricing for any relating records to the pricelistcode set to 0 and there were none, so I deleted the record. Since then the synch is running without any problems.
I guess something must have gone wrong during upgrade?.

Error message when updating Sales Orders

Following an issue over the weekend when I was forced to perform a hard reset we are now experiencing error message when trying to update some sales orders.
This entry already exists in the following tables " ADO1 (ODBC - 2035) [Message 131 - 183]
it is not happening on all orders - i think only ones which were on the system prior to the reset.
We also use webtools and the B1SyncService seems to be causing the SAP B1 system to become unusable - following each attempt to sync there is an error in the event log:

For now I have had to stop the SyncService to prevent B1 from becoming unusable (users are unable to start any AR module), but even after I have stopped the syncservice I still have the error when updating sales orders.

Dear Johnny,
the error reported sounds like a DB Corruption. I would advise you to log a message to SAP Support including all the details in order to obtain the error message. It is also a good idea and it will speed up the process if you include some print screens showing exactly the error message.

I'm testing our checkout process and I had this error pop up. I had one item in my cart when checking out. The only weird thing with the order is that it was in the system at $0.00. I don't know if that may be the source of this problem. Any ideas what may have caused this?

Policy Domain Root error during Policy Manager installation

I am installing Policy manager for the first time and I am getting error at Policy domain root level.
If I specify Policy Domain Root as / it gives me this error
Unable to modify the entry with DN obapp=PSC,ou=Oblix,dc=SUPPLIER,DC=GLOBAL in the directory server - Object class violation in ModifyDBEntry_ADSI()
The DN obapp=PSC,ou=Oblix,dc=SUPPLIER,DC=GLOBAL exists in the directory.
My directory is Windows 2003 standard edition SP1 active directory. I am using Oracle access manager 10.1.4
user and policy directory is the same directory supplier.global.
Forest and domain functional level is Windows 2003
My person object class is: user
i have already installed webpass and identity server on same machine.
I have removed and tried to reinstall the policy manager on the same machine and the same error.
My identity server admin console is showing three directories:
AccessManager_setup_user_profile
AccessServer_default_user_profile
default-IdentityServer_1_6022
all of the directories have these settings dynamic auxiliary is yes and directory type is microsoft active directory (using adsi) without ldap for authentication checked.
I am getting these errors in my access logs looks like the path is wrong and the files are missing but not sure from which part of setup its taking this.

Obaccess.dll causes link error on hot deploy

I'm doing web services development with AccessServerSDK 10G, Glassfish v3, on windows XP using Eclipse. It works fine except whenever I change my code and eclipse attempts to hot deploy the application, the following error occurs and the deploy bombs:
"org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Native Library C:\NetPoint\AccessServerSDK\oblix\lib\obaccess.dll already loaded in another classloader"
It seems that the obaccess.dll reloads without checking whether if it is already loaded. The only way to redeploy the application is to shutdown Glassfish and restart it for every change I make. It's impeding my progress.
So far I've tried the following:
--removing jobaccess.jar from inside my application and putting it into Glassfish_HOME/domain/domain1/lib; it didn't help.
--put an ObConfig.shutdown before the ObConfig.initialize; it didn't help.
--catching the exception and ignoring it, but then the application gets a null pointer exception when it runs.
I can't find anyone else in cyberspace complaining about this problem. I hope it isn't an issue with Windows because we do all our development on our desktops, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Anyone else having this problem or found a fix for it?

I already faced with this problem on WLS11gR3 (10.3.4) and I try with all your workaround.
The solution I found was to install on separate server chain in order to reboot the server instead of use Hot Deploy.
We have also think to migrate the application to J2SE.
It seam that it is not possible to remove Jni 'till jvm is up and running.
Wile summer have you found any solution?
