Netscape 4.1 plugin to WLS 6.1 for Solaris

Hi,
I'm using Netscape Web Server 4.1SP8 Enterprise and plugin into WLS 6.1, both
running on the same machine, on Solaris 8. Does anyone have any idea what causes
this error?
: start failed. (2: unknown early startup error)
: failure: watchdog could not connect to notification port (Connection refused)
Any info on this is appreciated

    Hi,

    Hi, Micheal,
    Thank you very much. I found them. They are all *.dll files. I seems to

    I also found a file called libproxy.so in the weblogic/lib/solaris

    install?

How do I fix this terrible problem?
    If it requires a Photoshop CS5 re-install, (I belief that it may fix the problem) and re-install the two third party plugins (NIK Viveza) and (Onone Perfect Resize) how and where do I get to the proper Adobe upload page to do that.
    I have tried to fix this problem by changing the memory allocations, I have spend many hours on it and are very disgusted with it but it needs to be fixed. The current memory settings are;
    Ram available = 1588 MB
    Range = 873 -1143 MB
    Recommended Photoshop usage range =  857  however I have tried every setting to max and in between. Nothing works. Current setting = 1588 (max)
    The Photoshop I use is registered, I have product # and order # .

    Contact NIK for updated/upgraded versions of their plug-ins.  They have been having a lot of issues with their plug-ins.

  • 64-bit WLS 11G for Solaris?

    I can not locate the 64-bit version of WLS 11G for Solaris. When I go to the download page all I see are 32-bit versions (at least they look like 32-bit version as denoted by the filenames such as wls1031_solaris32.bin).
    I have attempted to go through the e-delivery site but do not want to download a 21 part 11Gig file if it is not the correct one.
    I would appreciate any help at all.

    I am pretty confident that you need the 64 bit JVM for your platform, then you need to use the generic installer, this is based on how it has been done in prior releases.
    So you can find the available JVM's for your platform here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/files/oracle%20fusion%20middleware%2011gr1%20(11%201%201%201%200)%20certification%20matrix.xls
    In this case that would be Sun JVM 1.6.0_11+
    OR
    JRockit 6 Update 5 R27.6.2+
    Then you should be able to run the generic installer here with that downloaded supported JDK:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/htdocs/wls_main.html
    I was not able to find anything specific on the documentation pages that described this process in detail, but you can always open a support case to get some assistance. I will check with the documentation team to see if that is going to be documented or already is.
    If you look at the 10gR3 releases, it shows how the generic installer is used, for example:

    I'm guess you changed owner of config/mydomain to weblogic? To
    confirm - try touching/create a test file in config/mydomain,
    i.e. touch mytest.perm;ls -l mytest.perm;rm mytest.perm
    You could start weblogic with truss:
    truss -t open -o /tmp/truss.out -f "your start command"

    Hi,
    Not certain what your external system is, but it may be worthwhile to go through the QM-IDI documentation to see if that meets your requirements
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/26/b43927506511d182c20000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
    Alternately, take a look at BAPI_INSPOPER_GETDETAIL to determine how the lot expects to receive results, and BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS to set the results accordingly

  • How to intercept the Adobe Flash plugin block by firefox checking for vulnerabilities?

    The trouble is the grey block, that asking to update Adobe Flash because the version is vulnerability. If the block of Flash object is smaller, then 100px height - there is an empty space, but not gray block with talking about version. I need to intercept the moment using JavaScript, when Firefox checking the version of plugin to make changes in my HTML code to make a GIF, but not flash.
    How to intercept the Adobe Flash plugin block by Firefox checking for vulnerabilities from JavaScript code?

    hello, i don't think that this would be possible (but i'm not sure). what you could do is try to sniff the version of flash that is installed & the firefox useragent and just assume that old versions of the plugin will be blocked in this combination.
    if you need more help about that, i'd recommend posting in a forum that is more specialized & knowledgeable in web development like http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=25, since we here on the firefox support forums are primarily focused on support for end-users...

    I am modifying the correct httpd.conf file on the server, it just doesn't seem to work. - If I put the rewrite rules in the <Directory /> the rewrite works but it adds /Library/WebServer/Documents to the URL.
    I also tried putting the rewrite rules in <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> but that did not work either.
    mod_rewrite is enabled and running on the server.
    I will post the rewrite rules again in the code brackets. Sorry for the long post. - If some one can try them out on their Leopard Server to see if they can get them to work, it would be much appreciated. Again, these work on my Leopard Client but I can't get them to work on Server.

  • Java 1.8.0_31 for Solaris Sparc missing Firefox plugin

    Until now I didn't realize that Oracle planned to deprecate (Oracle) Solaris in favor of Linux.
    Since updates to Java 7 will be ending in April 2015, I thought it would be a good idea to migrate to Java 8.  I installed Java 1.8.0_31 on our Solaris 10 server and then tried to configure the Java plugin for Firefox.  Low and behold!  It is no longer supplied with the Java installation.  Apparently, when Oracle removed 32-bit support for java in Solaris, they removed Java Web Start (javaws.jar) and the Firefox plugin (libnpjp2.so) with it.  As I searched the web in vain for a solution, I recall that additional java functionality has been removed from the Java 8 build for Solaris as well, but I can't recall what they are right now.
    Of course, Linux remains fully supported!!  Too bad we invested in an all-Oracle solution for our aging Oracle Forms applications.  I guess now we need to stay on Java 7 until we can migrate off the high performance (Oracle) Solaris dinosaur to a better supported Linux platform.  Thanks Oracle for providing no risk solutions.
    I've submitted a ticket to Oracle Support regarding how to get past this issue, but I thought I'd throw it out here too:
    How can I run a java app (like Oracle Forms) using Firefox on Solaris without a Java plugin?

    Obviously Sun (excuse me, Oracle) does not intend to support the solaris-10/sparc/firefox-3.6 combination. Firefox 3.6 requires the NPAPI and/or NPRuntime interfaces to java, but oracle does not provide the new "libnpjp2.so" java plugin with the jre-6u18-sparc-solaris java download.
    A search at www.oracle.com does not turn up any support announcement about this. You have to learn it the hard way. :(
    If you want to continue to use sparc-solaris, downgrade to firefox-3.5 so you can use the old libjavaplugin_oji.so module. Otherwise run Linux or Mac OS X to stay in the unix camp.

  • Plugins & sampltank not showing up for use?

    Hi there, I am still having trouble with plugins, can anyone help?
    Firstly, after installing and ensuring the AU ones are installed, my plugins do not show up for use in channels etc. they work perfectly in both Bias & ProTools though.
    i) I downloaded the waves demos for a 14 day trial and Logic doesn't find them, do I have to do something manually for them to be noticed?
    ii) Sampletank2 does not show up either (AU installed). I downloaded the free version and it DOES show up.
    Argh...
    G

    OK, last I checked the Waves passed Validation (I am not a Waves owner) so the demo version may be older-if you are considering purchasing them make sure you get all answers about AU Validation from Waves.
    Another thing: Logic Pro comes with a great suite of Plugins. You may want to consider that alternative if you were thinking of buying Waves.
    What do you mean it should have happened at startup? It should have validated or they should have passed validation?
    Cheers, J

  • LDAPRealm: WLS keeps searching for ldapserver:389

    Hi,
    we're having problems setting up the LDAP realm for WLS 5.1 SP 8. We are trying to
    contact an
    OpenLDAP server and even after setting a concrete server name in ldaprealm.properties,
    WLS keeps
    searching for ldapserver:389.
    Here is our ldaprealm.properties:
    server.host=someserver.at.our.domain
    server.principal=cn=hugo,dc=involva,dc=de
    server.credential=somepassword
    user.dn=dc=involva,dc=de
    user.filter=(&(uid=%u)(ou=gedoplan))
    #group.dn=ou=groups, dc=example, dc=com
    #group.filter=(&(cn=%g)(objectclass=groupofuniquenames))
    #membership.filter=(&(uniquemember=%M)(objectclass=groupofuniquenames))
    group.dn=ou=GEDOPLAN,dc=involva,dc=de
    group.filter=(&(cn=%g)((ou=gedoplan)))
    membership.filter=(&(uniquemember=%M)(ou=gedoplan))
    And that is the log message:
    Unable to initialize server: weblogic.security.ldaprealm.LDAPException: could no

    Dirk,
    There is no port specified in your file, so the default is 389.

  • Haw to get java emblering plugin 0.9.7.5update for Firefox

    Haw to get java emblering plugin 0.9.7.5update for Firefox ?

    Java Embedding Plugin
    You could just download it through macupdate.com or go to sourceforge and get it from there.
    Is there some specific reason you would need java at all?  These days the recommendation is to turn java off -- at a minimum in the browsers or more globally using Java Preferences (in Utilities).  This is due to potentially future trojans finding even more holes in java to sneak through as they did recently with a now-sealed hole utilized by the Flashback trojans.
