you can download or order the SAP NetWeaver Library. for offline use. The library contains most of the information linked to from the Developer's Guide in SDN. You can find the information in this section:

As a customer you can download the SAP NetWeaver Library directly in the Software Download Center of the SAP Support Portal (http://service.sap.com/swdc) by searching for the Library via its material number. I was trying to find a developers guide for using Oracle BPM Suite (11g). I found the one in the following link, however this looks like a pretty detailed one...

Using the local db in the netweaver developers workplace

hi guys,
is it possible to use the local db of my developers workplace?
I am planning to create jsp-pages in the netweaver developers studio (nds) and want create some db-table for my application (create and update statements). how can I access the local db in the nds? do I need a special jar-file like in jdbc to handle the communication with the db?
In a later step I want to migrate this application into the local sap portal.

the access information about your local max-db is shown in the sapmmc.
the preferred way to access databases is by using jdbc datasources

Developers guide on metalink more complete then OA framework help version

I couldn't understand how some of the perople on the forum could say that certain info was contained in the developers guid eg . How to call PL\SQL from OA Framework.
Found today that the more upto date version available from Metalink has this extra info (I am running CU version of framework)

Well, whatever you see in PDF version on metalink is same as the Jdev dev guide provided with the Jdev patch with OA extension. You probably might be looking at the wrong place. Check the page JDEV_INSTALL_DIR/jdevdoc/WebHelp/devguide/bus/bus_java.htm#plsql

BPC Ver 10.1 Netweaver User Guide

I am having trouble finding a user guide for BPC Ver 10.1 Netweaver (Classic or Unified). I am preparing "admin" training materials and can not find answers to some basic application admin type activities like what special characters are allowed in dimension ID names. And I can not find it mentioned in the admin guide or the EPM guide. So I am in search of a user guide type of document.

If you look at 10.0 Netweaver, there is also no user guide there.
I think as users view BPC via the EPM client, the user guide is there.
I think from a users point of view certainly for Classic / Standard, other than the web side, there is no real changes from 10.0

I am trying to debug and slove my error in SAP NWDS.
I am building portal application->JSPDynPage
I am trying to debug the jsp code behind page, it doesn't realli give error message like the java beans does.
I am quite new to this and do not know how to set the function to test and debug this page can anyone provide any solution ?

-Select the breakpoints in your Dynpages /beans in ur project
-To debug u have to change the prespective to debug which u can find in
window/open prespective /Debug in NWDS
-Select the Run/Debug or the Debug icon in the toolbar.
-Fill the project name ,application name in the in the wizard opnend .
- Follow the debugging using the next step over F6 ,step return F7 keys .

JDeveloper provides visual editors for UIX pages and wizards for developing ADF based applications, and hence is the right tool to try out UIX.
There is no downloadable version of UIX developer guide.

SAP Netweaver Developers Studio Installation Problems?

I am not having success installing the SAP Netweaver Dvelopers Studio.
The wizard asks me for the location of the SDK (SAP DEVELOPER KIT) and I enter exactly where it is. However, it keeps telling me that this is not a valid directory...Perhaps the files became corrupt during download?
Anybody had any experience with installing this product?

to install NWDS you have to first install the java development kit.
