:-( Netweaver Installation Errors :-(

Question

1. on trying to install netweaver 6.4 SP 9, which I bought with the book from SAPPRESS, I only ever get errors.
When I first bought the book it would not install and someone gave me an SDN download. This also didnt install because of a wrongly documented parameter; then it did install but died 3 weeks later with a "licence" error in the log.
Now I've repeatedly tried cleaning the system (Registry, sapdb, uninstall ...) and reinstalling from the book cd but only get errors altho I myself can do nothing: there is no input I am asked to give apart from entering passwords : the system "recognises" everything.
2. I should like to have an installable version and actually be able to work thru the book using it.
