Netweaver Portal and SAP Easy access GUI

Hi
I have a basic question and need answers from you folks
We have done all the necessary configuration and enhancement in sap crm 5.0 GUI - We are now implementing Netweaver Portal 0.4S  and the transaction pages we see in portal are very different from what we have configured in Easy access GUI.
We want the portal pages to mirror to whatwe have in easy access. How will it be done?  Is it done from SPRO in CRM or a different process all together.
Please give some directions as to how we can go about it.
Regards
Tarang

Hi Tarang,
To my knowledge, the easiest way to implement your requirement is to use iView of the type SAP Transaction iView.
While creating the transaction iView you have configure the user mapping and give the transaction Tcode.
The resulted iView will be the exact copy of what you see in the SAP GUI.
Let me know if you want further clarification.

  • How to disable sap easy access menu for SAP GUI HTML

    hi,
in our portal i created an iview, which calls an SAP-ERP-Transaction, and displays it with the SAP GUI for HTML (webgui). well, i have a big problem: when i got a timeout, the user has to log on to the its and then i get the sap easy access menu.
the users should NOT be allowed to see the sap easy access menu ! they ONLY need to see the called transaction.
    any ideas ?
    best regards, Martin

    hi,
i have  set the 'singletransaction'-parameter in sicf for the webgui-service to value 1.
BUT: as soon as i click on the iview to display the transaction i got the message
    Logged Off Successfully
You have been logged off from SAP Web Application Server.
    what is wrong there ?

  • Difference between using the Enterprise Portal and SAP GUI

    Hi Gurus,
Could one of you please send me a document that lists the differences between the Enterprise Portal and SAP GUI?
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
For groups, managedBy is an administrative convenience to designate “group admins”. Whatever principal listed in
managedBy gets permission to update a group’s membership (the actual security is updated on the group’s AD object to allow this).
In Win2008 and later managedBy also became the way you delegated local administration on an RODC, allowing branch admins to install patches, manage shares, etc. (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755310(WS.10).aspx).
On the RODC, this is updating the RepairAdmin registry value within RODCRoles.
So the difference between them should be only the way they do the same thing.

  • Transaction code for user menu, sap easy access

    Hi system experts!
Does anybody know which transaction causes the user-specific menu within "SAP easy access" (the welcome screen after login, like /n does) ?
I need it to be called from a portal iView, so that the usual sapgui-like screen with the user's menu appears in a portal screen, both for SAPGUI for windows and http.
Trx. S000 or SESSION_MANAGER does not cause the user-specific menu when called from the portal. These work least of all for call via ITS.
    thanks
    Andreas

    hi ,
The transaction code is SE41.. This is for creating Menus and tool bars.
you can also try SMEN it will call the user menu as you described in your post.

  • SAP Easty Access GUI settings Rename

    Hi,
I want to rename the GUI settings in SAP EASY access.( suppose we have Baisc function, i want to display as Functions), how to do it.
    Thanks,
    Donald

    Hi Donald,
I do not to change the SAP Standard area menu settings, but from SE43 transaction code, you can change and create the new area menu. i think it may be possible to change the GUI settings from this transaction code. look at the transaction code and read the documentation,

  • Can we add our own menu in sap easy access screen

can we add our own menu in sap easy access screen
along with the existing menu items...
ex : can i add the new menu item as help1 on that screen
    regards
       raghu

go  to transection se43 ...ther e  u can create   ur  own menu list.. and  ur  cusomize transection to that perticular menu list.....
You can enter the area menu in the command field like any other transaction code, also in menu exits can be filled with a area menu.
You might play a little with S000 and S001 - when you enter them, the menu tree of easy access changes.
Do you search for the menu exits to append your area menu into the standard menu tree?

  • Netweaver administration and SAP Web Application Server r the same?

    Hi All,
I am a Basis Consultant & new to Netweaver,..
I am interested in Netweaver administration..
1.I am confused wheather netweaver administration and SAP Web Application Server r the same?(or WAS is just another component of Netweaver).
2.Do we need to administrate all the components of Netweaver(EP,BI,etc.,)seperately as an Netweaver Administrator?
    Thanks in Advance ,
    Malti

    Hi Malti,
You must first download and read this document and then read 'help.sap.com' for what is netweaver.
    <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e1515a37-0301-0010-b2bb-99780cb4cafa">Introduction to Web Application Server</a>
The above mentioned document is a crisp guide to what is WAS.
Further I got this from the sdn/netweaver webpage
SAP NetWeaver is a web-based, open integration and application platform that serves as the foundation for enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA) and allows the integration and alignment of people, information, and business processes across business and technology boundaries. It utilizes open standards to enable integration with information and applications from almost any source or technology. SAP NetWeaver is the foundation of SAP xApps and mySAP Business Suite solutions, and also powers partner solutions and customer custom-built applications.

  • In ecc6.0 main page SAP easy access.

    hi,
in ecc6.0 main page SAP easy access.
it is showing only "favorites"  folder.. all other icons are also inactive.. how to rectify this

    Hi Thiru Malai,
When u login into the sap easy access menu, There you find in the menu bar with name 'MENU'. Click on that you will be shown two options.
one is USER menu and another one is SAP menu . If you are in SAP menu then you find all the folders under favourites.
I think you are in USER menu. If you are in USER menu it doesn't shows the folders there.
    Reward points if useful.

  • Drill down Reports created In SPRO to execute in SAP Easy Access

    Hi
In customizing which is transaction spro, at the following location Financial Accounting->General Ledger Accounting->Information System->Drilldown Reports you can create drill down reports.
What I would like to know is where can the user execute them from in SAP Easy Access?? There is transaction FSIB (Background Processing) which allows you to execute it in SAP Easy Acces but it wants to print the report and not display it on the screen. Is there a way to display on the screen in SAP Easy Access??
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
To run a report either in foreground or background you need to know the report name. To run the report in foreground goto SE38 and give the report name and execute it. If you see the status message " This report is not a type P" then goto SE93 and findout the transaction with the help of report name description. so you can run the transaction. To add the transaction to your role technical consultant will take care.
    Bye,
    Jyothi.

  • ITS Transaction closing showing the button "Start SAP Easy Access"

    Hello
I have to start an SAP service with a defined transaction the URL.
Now the user want go back to start an other transaction from the SAP menu.
But when he go out of the first transaction he see the button "Start SAP Easy Access".
But what we want is to show directly the SAP Menu.
    I have tried:
    ~WEBGUI_EASY_ACCESS_MENU = 1          no impact
activate a redirect URL in the service with ending .....TRANSACTION=SMEN, that works but then we dont can close the SAP in the actual mode.
the only way is to close the browser window. And we actually have special logout site that we dont can show with this solution.
    Thank you for answers!
    Monti

    Hello Matthias
    Thanks for your input.
I have found an other solution.
I have defined a second service only for showing the Menue.
This is now the logout page from the original service. So i have a first Service as a singletransaction service and after the first funktion they move to the second service with a "normal" menue and the user can navigate to a next ITS-function in the second service.
    Best regards
    Markus

  • Solution Manager 4.0 Title says "SAP Easy Access CRM"

    Hi,
We installed Solution Manager 4.0 on Solaris/Oracle.
Solution Manager 4.0 Title in Easy Access page says "SAP Easy Access
    Customer Relationship Management"
I want to change the title. So I created a customer message with SAP. They gave following steps. I followed these steps. It just displays the title. I don't see any option to edit the existing title.
Did you come across this situation?. If so, can you please shed some light?. Thank you very much for your time.
    Steps
The menue which is displayed as initial menue can be defined in the IMG
(transaction SPRO) under the following path:
    SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide
    - SAP Customizing Einführungsleitfaden
    - SAP NetWeaver
    - Application Server
    - System administration
    - Definition on initial menu
Please change this to: AI_SOLAR -SAP Solution Manager

    What was the solution?
