Netweaver scroll lock

Hey Guys,
We have a Netweaver output based on an aggregate of several data.
The problem is that when a user clicks on a line to open a lower layer, the browser always refreshes and goes back to the upper part of the page. This is very annoying.
Therefore my question: Is it possible to 'lock' the view that the user stays on his same line?
Thank you very much,
Filip

I got this problem on excel running under Parallels
Finally got it, I hope it helps:
Or, if you're working on Windows on a mac via bootcamp or virtualization software (Fusion or Parallels), you can either do:
fnaltF12
Or go to:
Start->All Programs->Accessories->Accessibility->On-Screen Keyboard

  • Can't turn off scroll lock Mac Book Pro Excel

Suddenly cannot move through cells or enter data in Excel for MAC. Have read all of the discussions on this topic - shift+fn+f12 don't work or any of the other suggested combinations, I have no F14 key or external keyboard, set up keyboard preferences to run fn keys, and there is no scroll lock or keyboard icon in the excel window - nothing works. I somehow turned this on, probably via a keystroke, so I must be able to turn it off - how? I appreciate your help - thank you!

Problem solved. When naming the droplet in the where to save dialog, make you you put a .app at the end of it.
    Now works perfect.

  • Need a scroll lock button in windows

I have a windows based program I use on my Macbook Pro and I need to use the scroll lock for a critical function. Is there a mac keyboard equivalent?

  • Firefox 15 acts as if a scroll lock is on. I just upgraded from 14 to 15.

    I just upgraded from 14 to 15.
Using a EVO View tablet, the OS is current. The secured part of ETADirect.com Firefox 15 acts as if a scroll lock is on. When I zoom in, I am unable to move the page. The scroll bars both move,as if the page is moving.

For the first time sync I would recommend turning off icloud and doing a usb sync with itunes on a mac or pc, if possible.  How robust is the wireless network you are using?

  • Excel arrow keys stop working (NOT SCROLL LOCK)

Excel Office Pro Plus 2013 on windows 7 64 bit.
This has happened since I loaded it.. older excel never has this issue on same host.
When I am working in a spreadsheet and moving around with arrow keys.. they stop working randomly.
It is NOT scroll lock... I can turn scroll lock on and off no effect.
IF I change to another tab then back to the same tab .. the arrow keys work again!!!
This happens in many spreadsheets... seems like the larger they are the worse it it.. VERY annoying and makes it unusable!!
I have all the latest patches and have rebooted .. this has been going on since I loaded excel.. I was hoping a patch would fix it..
    but it keeps happening randomly...
    ANY ideas?
    -Ken

    Hi Ken,
Thanks for posting in MSDN forum.
Since the issue is more relate to the end-user, I'd like to move it to Excel IT pro forum.

  • I can't find the Scroll Lock button on my notebook

was in a program when something happened to the box I had up on screen, was told to hit the scroll lock key, but I can't find the scroll lock key - can anybody help me??
    This question was solved.

Hi I was out in the world when I ran into the "No Scroll Lock" key / function on mt HP DVP Laptop.  Really, HP could not add a ctrl + function key for this?
There is an easier solution than hooking an external keyboard, especially if you are not in the home/office.
USE THE WINDOWS ON SCREEN KEYBOARD!  I found this on another post on the HP board. In Windows 7 you can easily find the On Screen Keyboard  by pressing the windows globe on the bottom right corner that brings up your 'Start Menu" and type in "On Screen" in the search box at the bottom.  You should see "On Screen Keyboard" app come up at the top.  Alternately, go to Control Panel, Ease of Access, and you will see "Start On Screen Keyboard".  Once enabled when you select the on screen application it comes right up.  You can leave the on screen minimized at the bottom if you need to toggle Scroll Lock on and Off.
So there is a solution that does not include finding an external keyboard.  But HP, this can't be a difficult thing to add to the bios, no?  Like Alt + Fn Num Lock?

  • How to scroll lock on a mac

Looking to upgrade my mac and was wondering if the new mac book pros have the capability to scroll lock.  I need this feature for programs I use at home for work.  Thanks I know it's a silly question but it is not easy possible to do on my older macbook.

I can't scroll lock on my current MacBook now that is the problem.  I don't have a F14 key which seems to be the key people suggest to try or the F12 +alt+function.  I even purchased an external full keyboard hoping this would work but to no avail.
The catch is that OSX will intercept the function keys and use them for itself.  Make sure you don't have anything using F14.  Either in System Preferences, or any other third party add-ons that give mouse or keyboard shortcuts or extras.
Since Macs don't use Scroll Lock, this is why I mention it's up to the app to give you a scroll lock.
...I'd hate to purchase a PC to do work from home but I may have to.
I'm not using "apps" I am logging in remotely from home to my work PC using GoToMyPC from there I can access any program that is on my work PC.
    Thanks
In your case the "app" is GoToMyPC.  See if GoToMyPC has a option to "send key".  I use LogMeIn, which has a send ctrl-alt-del, but not send Scroll Lock.  Hopefully GoToMyPC does, which would be best in your situation.
Otherwise there are only two ways I know of to do what you want from within OSX:
Use Windows' onscreen keyboard on the office computer.  (Start, All Programs, Accessories, Accessibility.  Different versions of Windows may have it in slightly different locations.)  With a large screen on a desktop, this may be acceptable.  (On LogMeIn, I can have the host screen "fit" or zoomed in to my remote screen's size, which makes the onscreen keyboard usable for me.)
Microsoft Remote Desktop.  The Mac app for Remote Desktop Connection (sometimes known as Remote Desktop Protocol or Terminal Services) has an option that you can map keys.  I verified that Scroll Lock is possible.  Due to the limited number of keys on the Macbooks, you'll have to find something that's not in use by either OSX or Windows.  (For example, in the test, I used Shift-F12 for Scroll Lock.)
The catch with 2) is that you'll need to be able to configure port forwarding on your company's firewall, or preferably have a VPN.  While a VPN is more complex to setup, IMHO a VPN is necessary because of some vulnerabilities discovered with the older version of the protocol, which the Mac client still uses.
The only other option would be not running OSX when connecting to the office.  Note, this does not necessarily mean getting a PC.  You could install Windows in Boot Camp.  You'd still have the problem of no actual Scroll Lock key on the Mac, but since OSX is not running, any full sized keyboard plugged into the Mac would then send the F14/Scroll Lock key correctly to the office computer.  (Or running Windows in a virtual machine, but there are limitations with that as well, although the VM is more convenient in that you don't have to boot "out of" OSX like you would with Boot Camp.)

  • I have a new wireless keyboard but it doesn't have the "Scroll Lock" key I need to work my printer.Any ideas please. I'm new it iMac.

I have new iMac with a wireless keyboard. It doesn't have a "Scroll lock`' key (hot key) which I need to work a shared printer controlled by a manual share switch. does anyone have any suggestions to help please?

There is a key combination that operates the scroll lock function on your keyboard, try it and see if it works:
The reason that the manual switch is mapped to the scroll lock is because it is a rarely used (sometimes never used) function, unfortunately that is exactly why it is vanishing, gone on some keyboards already.Consult the documentation for the switch, see if the function controlled currently by the scroll lock key can be remapped to another key.

  • Scroll lock function on Excel 2010 on Macbook pro

I am running Excel 2010 on my Macbook pro and cannot seem to switch off the scroll lock.  It will work when I hit the F14 key on my wireless keyboard, but that is in my office and not to hand all the time.  When i restart excel the scroll lock is on again.
As you know on a Macbook Pro the keys only go to F12 but the suggested Shift+FN+F12 doesn't work

I suggest you ask your question on the Microsoft Mac forums as it's their software you're having problems with.  These forums are for troubleshooting Apple products, and not related to your question in any way.

  • Turn off scroll lock

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro and cannot turn off scroll lock, so when using Excel the arrow keys move the spreadsheet rather than the next cell.  I have searched numerous threads and all refer to F14 plus either shift or command but I can't find any reference to the shortcut for F14.

    Hi,
I had the same problem (Macbook Air) and the only way I could solve it was by plugging in a USB keyboard (it was a microsoft keyboard) then pressing shift-Scroll Lock.
Simply pressing Scroll-Lock only activated the keyboard illumination control so did not work.

  • Disabling scroll lock in New Imac keyboard

    Hello world,
I'm recently using Office 2011 for Mac and I have a problem with excel. Accidentally I made a mac key combination and I disabled the scroll lock. I want to enable it again in order to move the cell selected using the arrow keys. I can not use Ctrl-F14 (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/cdb_winkeys.html) because the new keyboard only have from F1 to F12.
How can I made to solve it?
    Thanks so much!

Solved by the moment... with a virtual keyboard

  • Scroll lock on extended mac keyboard

I use bootcamp dual booting 7ultimate/snowL in an Intel Macbook Pro. MS Excel has a screwy feature that makes the arrow keys move the page instead of move to cells if the scroll lock is on. If you are frustrated by this the extended mac keyboard scroll lock is toggled by the F15 key.

  • Excel scroll lock problem

No matter what I do, I can't turn the scroll lock off on Excel. It was all working fine until today. I assume I accidentally hit a wrong combination of keys.
In any case, it is driving me mad. I have wireless keyboard with buttons up to F12, so the F14 fix that I have read about doesn't work for me.
Please please please help. This is consuming me.

    Hi,
possible solution - worked for me
I had the same issue on a macbook pro.
As the macbook keyboard has no f14 key I had to find a workaround.
    Here we go:
I downloaded "big screen keys" (virtual keyboard), installed, hit f14 on the onscreen keyboard and saved a few thousand mouseklicks.
Big screen keys is freeware. I hope it works for you.

  • Scroll lock not seeming to work

When I'm trying to open a JavaScript game that requires pressing arrow keys it moves the page that the game is on. I tried to resolve this by pressing the scroll lock key. It did not work. If you can help me please do. To press the scroll lock button I press function (Fn) and then the delete (Del) key [which in function mode is supposed to be scroll lock (ScrLk)]

Is there a plugin like Flash or Java used for that game?
Did you try to click with the mouse in that game to give it focus?
