Network error 3259 only on one specific file

I think the 1:00-2:00 p.m. file of 24, Season 6 may be damaged on the itunes Network. When I try downloading, it always gets to 116.2 megabytes downloaded, then gets "Error -3259: Network Timed Out". I've deleted temp files, and tried repeatedly from two different computers and the same file craps out at the same place. I downloaded 2:00-3:00 p.m. with no problem.
Who do I report this to to get the file fixed for downloading?

This time, I'm going to dispute the charge on my credit card. I've spent an hour like a trained monkey clicking the same stupid button over and over in hope of getting the reward for which I've already paid.
I would encourage others to do the same. It will cost Apple a lot more than $1.99 to resolve all of the disputed credit card charges than it would for them to fix their crappy network.

I want to upload one and only that one specific file

Hi everybody,
this may sound like a silly question, but I got a problem which is driving me mad I can't figure out a way to solve it.
So here it comes.. :-)
Every time I upload files within my DW file manager it not only uploads that specific file but also all the others files. For example I change one html file, upload it and when its done it also loads all the embeded mp3s and videos and css and all that crap which takes hours.
I'm sure there is a way to tell DW to only upload the file I want to upload, but I can't find it in the setup.
By the way, I'm using DW CS4.

I don't have CS4, but if you look in the Preferences in the Site section it may have something there to adjust in that regard (Edit -> Preferences -> Site). In CS3 it provides for allowing one to select whether they want to be prompted to upload dependent files. In CS3, deselecting these options is supposed to not transfer any dependent files (mine is unchecked, but still prompts). It may be different in CS4, but in that section there is a Help button that leads to explanations of the settings.
The wondering I have is whether you are getting a prompt or not regarding uploading dependent files when you try to upload the file. If so, then that would be where you indicate not to do so.

When I updated my Apple TV it shows about 10 computers on my network when I only have one computer on my network and they are all the same....why did this happen? I only have one computer linked to the Apple TV

It looks to be a bug. A reboot to computer and/or Apple TV may resolve it.

ITunes 9.0.1 will only play one specific playlist

itunes 9.0.1 will only play one specific playlist, and freezes when I try to do anything else. Had 9.0.0.7, then upgraded...said would fix the problem, but didn't. When I sync iPhone itunes freezes as well. Tried to delete podcasts...froze. Tried to delete duplicate songs...froze. Tried to...you get the picture.
Any help?

Problem has been resolved...had to reinstall, then go to add/remove programs and repair iTunes.

In the pop-up screen, have you tried licensing it and signing in? Signing in is crucial, so it knows what you paid for.

File Sharing on a Network and it only works one way

I recently configured a new wireless network, and want to fileshare between my Mac and old PC. I have followed several tutorials, and I can read/write to the Mac from the PC. However, when I try to connect to the PC from the Mac, it asks for username and password. I type in the only user name and password setup on the PC, and it says I do not have access to that server. Any ideas?

There is a "Server" service, and it is running on the laptop. The file I needed to move was ~150GB - wifi would be faster than OneDrive. You can appreciate my desire for full gigabit speed :)
I can connect to the laptop from the desktop over wifi. So the functionality of sharing is all there for me. But I am completely unable to set the wired network's location to "Private", which essentially enables Windows Firewall rules under the hood that
block any file sharing connections.
I can manually edit the firewall rules, but these apply only to network location profiles, i.e. "Domain", "Public", "Private", or "All".
I'll post a few screenshots to try and make this more clear.
Here is my wifi connection. Highlighted in red you can see the option to enable file sharing. Prett slick.
Here is a screenshot of my wired connection. As you can see, the option to enable sharing is completely missing.
The only explanation I can come up with for this is that it is an "Unidentified network", however on the other end of the cable is a desktop with the same connection settings running the same OS with the same updates and on that machine the network is set
to "Private" and has file sharing enabled. The option to enable or disable file sharing does not appear on the desktop either. The only difference between the two is that the network was enabled on the desktop prior to updating to Windows 8.1 (from Windows
8), the laptop had Windows 8.1 clean installed.

Weird open command stuck under menu bar for just one specific file

I'm having a weird problem where a little arrow in a small grey box sits under the menu bar, no matter which program is active. If I roll over it, an icon for a quicktime file shows. Clicking it open a specific file. It's one I had dragged to the desktop from the trash. If I click the icon, it opens the file from the trash. If I delete the trash, the little grey box and arrow stays there, pointing to the file in the trash even though it doesn't exist anymore. I cannot get rid of it!

How to only synchronize one specific LDAP user group with SAP?

Hopefully this is the correct forum to post this in. I want to have continuous one-way synchronization of users from my LDAP server to my SAP central system. I've started configure in SAP using transaction SM59 and LDAP. Can I somewhere set that only one specific LDAP user group shall be transferred to SAP (they do not need to be assigned to any specific group, profile, role in SAP) - or should this be done on the LDAP server side (or is it at all possible)?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the User Group field in the report RSLDAPSYNC_USER only concerns SAP user groups right? This would therefore not be sufficient since I want to select the users to synchronize based on user groups in the directory.

We've used a repository constant to specify the LDAP filter for reading users / groups from the LDAP target.
E.g. LDAP_FILTER_USERS (&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user))
Then we also have a constant for the LDAP_STARTING_POINT
For our AD Group Initial Load we filter according to these settings:
LDAP_FILTER_GROUPS = (objectclass=group)
LDAP_STARTING_POINT_GROUPS = ou=IDMManagedGroups,ou=Groups,dc=cfstest,dc=le,dc=ac,dc=uk
The above example only reads AD groups starting at the specified OU
Then in a Job From LDAP Pass the LDAP URL looks like this:
LDAP://%$rep.LDAP_HOST%:%$rep.LDAP_PORT%/%$rep.LDAP_STARTING_POINT_GROUPS%?*?SUB?%$rep.LDAP_FILTER_GROUPS%

Audiobooks only as one single file - Why why why?

Hello everybody!
For me it is a serious problem that the iTunes store only provides audiobooks as one single file regardless if the running time is 10 minutes or 10 hours.
I have neither received a reasonable answer from the support team nor can I think of any other reason than just refusal for economic reasons.
What is the difference between musical and spoken content???
In the end these are all the same file-types and the recordings originally were all published with indexes - so why do they reduce only the audiobooks to a single file???
Every audiobook with a length of 30 minutes and longer should definitly be provided in seperate chapters or segments - otherwise the handling is totally unpractical!
There are some audiobooks with over 10 hours runnig time that I would love to listen to but still they offer it as a single file - are you kidding me???
Even if I have my eyes non-stop on the counter - One interruption and I am forced to fastforward for hours!!!
APPLE - THINK! (Anyone remember the commercials?)
Who buys this crap so Apple did not have change it, yet?
Is there anybody who shares this problem?

Honestly, nobody around here thinks that this is somehow problematic and that it shows a lack of intelligence or at least ignorance???
By the way, in the meanwhile I have found several other online stores that provide a great range of audiobooks at the same price (or less) and guess what - they are all able to offer them in consumable segments!

Itunes error 3259 AND lots of "other" files

first things first, I have read this article: Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store - Apple Support I am NOT running windows or any of the other programs listed. this article did not help my problem. so please don't tell me to read it....
okay, so the problem: I'm trying to restore my iphone 5c because I have a lot of "other" on my iphone's storage... and it also needs the software update.
I get the error 3259. r
estarted both iphone and macbook air. (ejected iphone from macbook air as well.)
disconnected and re connected the wifi on both devices.
could this be related to my massive amount of "other" files in my macbook air??? question asked about it on here: mysteriousdisk space, gibberish files?
should I just wipe my whole computer and iphone or what? this is a nightmare.

All of your messages, whether they be text, image, audio, video, are all part of "Other." My daughter had 6 GB of them.

Error message "network connection reset" only affects one user

I'm running 10.3.9 on a 400Mhz iMac. I have 3 users, myself and my 2 kids. When I try to access a web page using Safari on one of the kid's user accounts I get an error message saying that the server cannot be contacted because the "network connection has been reset", and says to try again later but never works. The odd part is that the other two user accounts can access web pages with no problem.
I have checked my network settings, all user settings/limitations, restarted the computer and modem, tossed all cache and bookmarks for the affected user and placed the com.safari.plist from the user/library/safari folder on the desktop. Still get the same error message.
I would create a new user name but had a hassle with file permissions when I put the old user files in the new user folder.

I see you have Windows Firewall turned on. Do you happen to have any other firewalls or anti-virus in conjunction with this? Sometimes having both turned on will cause issue. Try disabling all of your anti-virus and firewall software and trying again.

Network printer will only print one time

the printer ( HP Laserjet CM2320 MFP) (Driver PCL 6)is networked on a print server running server 2012, the computer operating system is Win 7 fully updated, other people can print to it without issue.
the user can print to it one time. after the first print, you can no longer right click and chose printer preferences or printer properties. Then she needs to log out of the computer and back in to print again. if i have tried to open the printer properties,
they will open just before the computer logs out. this is the only printer she has.
things i have tried are removing and re installing the printer, uninstalling the all the print drivers on the computer, using the most updated drivers on the server and the computer. i also went into Printer Properties, ports tab, unchecked Enable bidirectional
support on both server and PC. checked after each change. also under the advanced tab i unchecked the Enable advanced printing features. both server and PC. checked after each change. when i tried to un-install the print drivers on the PC, i needed to rename
the reg keys because they were in use, remove the drivers and rename the reg keys back to the right name. i am sure i forgot some things i have tried, but if you need any other information let me know.

Search Webserver and only follow one specific hop

Hello,
we want to crawl our external website with sharepoint 2010 search. the files that are linked on the website are stored on another server.
in order to crawl these files i have to set the content source to do one server hop. by doing this the content source will also include content from other servers - but i only want to have the content from a specific one.
can you help me archiving this?

Hi Marco,
It is by design that other servers will be included with one server hop in the content source.
If you can ping the server where the files exist from SharePoint server and you only want to crawl the files, then I recommend to use file shares as the content source type and give the URL of the folder where the files stored. (remember to grant permission
to the crawl account on the folder)

Error 0x80070035 only on one of 20 remote machines, after months of use... strange!

I have been using a Windows 7 Server on my network for Quickbook for 2 years without a hitch. Since the weekend I started getting error code 0x80070035 'network path was not found' for the server only. I can see the server on my mapped network,
I can see my computer from the server, I can open every remote computer on the network except the server. My admin team still can access the Quickbooks Server. I can open the server from every other computer on the network... just not mine.
I have tried system restore, no luck. I've turned off TCP/IPv6 with no success. I've checked for multiple 6to4 adapters, none. Again, my network works perfectly on every remote unit, from all work stations except for me
now connecting to the Quickbooks server.
I'm sure this is a strange occurrence with a simple solution... I just can't figure it out with all the posts I've read.... suggestions?

The error code 0x80070035 can be caused by multiple reasons, it would be better to capture a network trace to identify this problem. You can try to use Network Monitor for test.

Stream multiple bitrates but only save one to file?

I have configured FMLE to stream 2 bitrates to Ustream.
For 'Save to File' the manual says add "%i" to name which saves both bitrates to disk.
Is their a way to choose one bitrate to save to disk?

Hi Kosta,
I think that the counts only get updated if you automatically sync your iPod. If the iPod is on manual update the count shouldn't change.
Shouldn't be too hard to test but I'm not near my iPod at the moment.
