Network Hearder to be craeted at Top WBS only

Hello All,
Please guide me in creating proj structure, as I am new to SAP PS.
My requirment is I want to create project structure like there will be only one WBS at level 1 (L1), and under this will have various WBS at level 1(L2). Now under each L2 level WBS i need to create activities. But the prob is the movement I create activity the system create Network Header on its own in background.
Already in OPSA i have set (Network asst : 1 For project definition)
My proj structure is required as follows :-
PD :- Office Building (Project definition)
L1 :- Office Building (WBS L1)
NW:- Office Building   (Single network at L1 WBS)
L2 :- Civil Work   (WBS L2)
L2 :- Mechanical work   (WBS L2)
L3 :- Electrical Work   (WBS L3)
Please guide me in this regards do I need to do any confic settings or Validation????
Any inputs in these regards will be highly appreciable.

Let me explain u in detail, Ya very correct as said by you activity are alway header assigned. My requirment is I will create only one network at TOP WBS (L1) and for rest L2 level WBS i will create activities were system should not create another network header at tht level.
Please refer the following Proj Structure :-

Budget Control at top level WBS only

Hello All,
I have a requirement from client where I need to activate the Budget control (90% warning and 100% error). I have done the setting accordingly.
Now the scenario is such that when client is doing budgeting, they are allocating the budget only at top level WBS (they have a different legacy, where they are doing there detail planning n budgeting, but since they want the feature of budget control in PS, they will do minimal budgeting in PS). As per my settings when I budget top level WBS and save the availabity control is activated (with no budget on lower level WBS). Now when I try to do some postings/or assign that WBS to PO, even with a value of 1 USD, i am getting an error of budget exceeded, which is fine as per the settings as that WBS is having 0 budget.
The requirement from client side is such that they want AVAC to be activated only at top WBS and do postings to lower WBS. But if the total of lower WBS exceed the budget of top WBS, they should get an warning or error. For example:
WBS level BUDGET ACTUALS
1               100
2                              50
2                              50
so as soon as the actuals touch 100, the system should give an error/warning. Note that the 2nd level WBS are not budgeted in SAP, so budget is 0 on them.
I have 2 questions:
1.Is it possible to activate AVAC only for top WBS ?(without any enhancement/development)
2.How the AVAC will work, if the total of 2nd level WBS exceeds the budget of top WBS (as explained in example above)?

Thanks Virendra, it was useful.
I tried other way round also i.e. by not marking the release tab in OPS9 and activating AVAC in CJ30.It works in that way too.
For my other question, regarding activating AVAC only at top level, we can achiebve that by using transaction control in user status.

IM-PS top WBS settle to AUC

Dear all experts,
could you help me on the following issue?
i am working on a capital project. IM and PS modules are used.
my key users want to settle lower WBS to the superior WBS and the top WBS to one AUC when they do the monthly settlement.
i delete the IM profile in the lower WBS, and maintain the settlement rule of them.
when i do the settle i found that lower WBS settle to the superior WBS but the top WBS doesn't settle to AUC
could you tell me what's the problem.

sorry, i didn't mean to close the question, as the problem is still there.
here is what i am.
AUC is created automatically when i release the project.
if i didn't delete the IM profile, all the WBS including the top one will be settled to AUC individually.
but if i delete the IM profile of lower WBS and maintain the settlement rule manually, the lower WBS will be settled to the top WBS. but the top one will not be settled to AUC that is created automatically.
the settlement type is not AUC,but GES.
i don't think it is correct.
could someone offer me some help or suggestions?
did someone meet the same problem?

Regardless of what heard you can do registration-wise, which you only need to do once, you are allowed to have two activated installations. There is no limit to how many times you might activate an installation, but you can only maintain two activated installations at a time. So if you have two machines you can have the software installed and activated on both. If you get a new (third) machine tyhen you would have to deactivate one of the other two machines' installations in order to activate/use the sfotware on the newest one.

Restrict network and activity to be moved between WBS

Can any one suggest which BADI i have to use to restrict the network and activity moved between WBS.
i have tried WORKORDER_UPDATE,WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE and PROJECTDEF_UPDATE
non of these BADI's are working.

Need to create a Network and assign this n/w to WBS

I was trying to create a network from abap editor using the 'BAPI_BUS2002_CREATE' but I have encountered a dump. Here is my entire code below:-

PS: How to get the hierarchy of a level 1 WBS only?

This corresponds to Projects System module.
If we have 5 level 1 WBS elements.Out of them if I want to get only the WBS hierarchy corresponding to a level 1 WBS element (say 2nd level 1 WBS element).
I know that we can get all the WBS elements' hierarchy from BAPI_PROJECT_GETINFO. But I want the hierarchy for only one level 1 WBS element not for all. How?

you could read them from SETNODE table with SETCLASS = '0110'

My Question:
If i do Strg+T with a layer (ie. image or shape) in previous version you have the width & height in top bar and can easily read it or change when typing a new value in. With right mouse (Win) you can change % in px or em etc.
In my Photoshop CC 14.2 i have only % and cant change this.
If i try to read the dimension i can only see it on the info-panel.
Its confusing. Is it a Bug or Feature?

I'm on a network with 2 printers and want to uninstall only one. How do I do it?

I recently added a Lexmark E260dn printer to my network (still want to have my HP 8550 connected).
The printer was faulty so took it back, but want to install another one. How do I "uninstall" just the old info for the Lexmark without losing my HP info?

For username and password, you need to use the username and password for someone that has an administrator account. If you have an admin type account, then just use your username (the short one, which is the name of your home directory) and password.
If not, you need the username and password of someone that does have an admin type account on your computer.
It need not have any relationship to any account used to set up the system or any software on it.
If you can do software updates using your name and password, then you are an admin user. Use your username (the short one, not your full name) and your password.
You can get your short username in Terminal:

How to make spry menubar top level only appear for browsers with java turned off

I was under the impression that just the top level of the horizontal spry menubar appears when someone with Java turned off views it...now I see that the entire unordered list appears vertically and takes up the whole page....is there a way to make just the top level menubar items appear when java is turned off in viewers browser?

When you disable Javascript in your browser...and it is Javascript not Java... if your menubar is properly constructed, the submenus do not appear, only the top level menu items.
It sounds to me as if you are turning off style rendering in Dreamweaver itself, or have not properly linked your CSS stylesheet to your page.
When CSS is linked properly, the submenus are "hidden" with left: -10000px; (a BIG distance) offscreen to the left of the Viewport. They stay there unless Javascript is turned on. It is Javascript that "calls them back" onto the Viewport.

Always on top works only on top of iTunes window

When running iTunes 8, the video will only play on top of the iTunes window, but I can put other windows above it. This is not ideal.
Is anyone else having problems with this?

I don't know what happened, no updates to iTunes, but videos will now play on top of other windows.
Edit: It seems that as soon as I posted this, it stopped working.

Audio problem after burned DVD on set top player only?

My burned DVD's play great on any computer PC or MAC but on client's (and mine) set top DVD player the first 3 seconds of the 30-min program don't play any audio???
Client's set top DVD player is brand new and has HDMI out puts, my player is old, 3 years maybe but both players do the exact same thing...the DVD's we're trying to play on the DVD players are all built and burnt from Mac using DVD SP. So the menus all work, even the audio perfectly, but when you choose the program it won't play the audio for 3 sec, then it kicks in, though the video plays perfectly from beginning. I've got 1 sec of Black at the head of program, then it fades up to first shot. I've got that same black slug on both audio tracks for 1 sec as well...tried with and without the black in the audio tracks, no change. Now on a 4 year old Panasonic EM-50 something DVD recorder/player the DVD's did work.

Welcome to apple discussions. Sorry to hear you are having problems navigating a burned disc. In most cases on apple discussions it's the result of the media and not of the hardware / software.
Please tell us which brands you have tried. Include speed of the media itself and if it's plus or minus media. Also when you used Roxio Toast, what speed did you burn at within Toast?

IPhone 4s 5.0.1 problem - Signal full but 3G network keeps dissappearing inside the house and showing only 'o'.

I keep having the above problem that annoys me a lot. Although signal is showing at full bar but 3G network is almost always dissappearing inside my house, leaving me with an 'o' symbol. This doesn't happen with the iPhone 3G and my 4 y/o Nokia where the 3G symbol is always there. I've done all, restore firmware to 406, reset network settings, etc. But those don't seem to work.
Any ideas how this happen? Any suggestion is much appreaciated. Thanks.

So I am guesing probably the iPhone signal reception issue came from the iPhone SIM card reader itself not adjusting to the SIM chip.
