Network keeps switching to Apple Net work

How can I prevent the wireless from switching from my network to Apple Network. When trying to connect to internet I find that my network has been changed
to Apple Network. Never experience any thing like it. Can somebody explain what's causing it?

Sounds like you are still set to the Apple demo network from the Apple Store.
You can check and remove this by:
System Preferences > Network > select 'Wi-Fi' from the left hand pane > select 'Advanced...'
Here you will see a list of preferred wireless networks.
Click to drag and drop and re-arrange the order of these networks; you will need to make sure your primary network is listed at the top, if it is not, the device will attempt to find and connect to the network that is.
Click to highlight a network from the list, then remove it from the list using the minus '-' button.
Click OK, if and when prompted, click apply changes.

Where are you located? Are you connected to a WiFi network when trying to use it?

Extend a non Apple net work

Is it possible to extend a non apple wireless net work using an apple airport express. If so how.

Your "conundrum" is not really similar at all, since you have two Apple wireless routers.....and the OP has only one.

There will probably be no problem at all, as long as you remember to keep the Cisco and Apple devices 6-8 feet, or a few meters away from each other.
I thought I would connect the AE via ethernet to the Cox/Cisco router and then use the TC as an "extender" upstairs. Should I put the TC downstairs and use the AE as an extension?
The TC has much better wireless performance than the AirPort Express, so the better performance option would be to locate the TC downstairs and locate the AirPort Express about half way between the TC and upstairs area.

Audio output keeps switching to Apple TV

My MacBook Pro 2.8 GHz doesn't support Airport Mirroring, yet every time I wake up my computer or come into range of my Apple TV it switches the audio output from my internal speakers to Apple TV. Only about 1 second of audio comes through the Apple TV, and then that stops too. I have to go into System Preferences, select a different output, then reselect "Internal Speakers" before I get audio back.
It's getting really annoying to have to do this half a dozen times a day. Any tips? Thanks!

Many websites also have an app available to use instead of the website. There is often a link on the page that will take you to the app in the App Store so you can download the app. Be careful you tap while on the website to avoid those links. Unfortunately sometimes the website will take you directly to the App Store instead of keeping you on the website. Not much you can do about it except to ignore those websites if they irritate you.

Try to Reset your device.

Are you using a v6 uitlity.. because it is a toy.. ??
Get v5 utility and then you can hold down the option key and select the right mode.
If you have lion, just install it.. For ML follow this.
How to load 5.6 into ML.
1. Download 5.6 for Lion.

Click to open the dmg but do not attempt to install the pkg.. it won't work anyway.
2. Download and install unpkg.

Run unpkg on the desktop.. it is very simple.. drag the AirPortUtility56.pkg file over to unpkg.. and it will create a new directory of the same name on the desktop.. drill down.. applications utilities .. there lo and behold is Airport utility 5.6 .. drag it to your main utilities directory or just run it from current location.
You cannot uninstall 6.1 so don't try.. and you cannot or should not run them both at the same time.. so just ignore the toyland version.. the plastic hammer.. and start using 5.6.. a real tool.

If you need to restore your iPhone at all, use http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766?viewlocale=en_US and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414?viewlocale=en_US and set it up as new to see if this still happens. If it does, you might need a replacement

I have a 3G plan but most of the time it switches automatically to EDGE. Thats when i have to either switch Airplane mode - On/Off and then it acts normal. Any permanant solutions to fix this problem?

Return the iPhone personally or via friend/relative/co-worker who is in
the US. The warranty is valid only in the country of original purchase - the USA
in this case. Apple will not accept international shipments for evaluation nor
will Apple ship out of the country after repair/replacement.
How did the iPhone from the US get to you in India? Reverse that process to
get it back to the US so someone can take it into Apple.

Try restoring the iPhone. If a normal restore doesn't work, try setting it up as a new device.
