Network Magic can't even solve it's own licensing problem?
What's the deal with NM and Cisco?
So I try and install NM and it reports it can't connect to it's own licensing server.. Brilliant.
Then I try to open a ticket and it tells me I need to download the .2 version of the app and does not open the ticket...
So I follow the link, download and install and yes, I guessed it, it's the same non .2 version... Brilliant..
Very not impressive folks...
What is the deal?

How can a I solve and GPIB/VISA compatibility problem?
My Labview (version 5.1 on a Macintosh) application talks to a variety of instruments over GPIB. In one mode it communicates with both 1) a LakeShore 340 temperature controler (LS340) using VISA-based drivers and 2) a Linear Research LR-700 AC resistance bridge using low-level GPIB functions. My application can query these instruments a couple of times per second, usually without trouble. However, periodically (about once an hour) the GPIB Read will cease to work with the LR700 or any of the other instruments on the same bus, returning error 6 (I/O operation aborted). GPIB Write still works fine. Querying the LS340 when the system is in this state produces the VISA error Hex 0xBFFF003C (Insufficient system reso
urces to perform necssary memory allocation). Querying the LS340 a second time is successful, and thereafter GPIB Reads are also successful.
I think somehow the GPIB and VISA protocols are interfering with each other. (Although the data dependency requires that the VISA Write/Read be complete before the GPIB Write/Read begins, I am not opening/closing the VISA session with every iteration. The VISA session is opened on the first iteration and stored in a shift register.) However, the maddening infrequency of this problem makes it very difficult to troubleshoot. Write two seperate test routines that each use only one method or the other.
Test the H*&#$ out of each to attempt to determine if the issue is associated with the high level or the the low.

Can't activate my Network Magic software after reinstalling
After a clean installation of Windows 8 Pro I've installed my Network Magic software. After the setup I've tried to activate my legal version but it won't accept a connection to register and to activate. I've found out that Cisco no longer supports Net Magic so activation is no longer possible in The Netherlands. Cisco says that there is no other replacement network tool from Cisco for my WRT 320N and other Cisco devices. Is there any possibility to activate my software of Network Magic on a other way (in the USA or in the register of Windows or Network Magic)? Thx Martin

Go to Solution.One possible reason why the software can't be installed is because of the firewall on your computer or an antivirus software. Try to turn the firewall off or disable your antivirus software temporarily and activate Network Magic again.

Network Magic or Home Network Defender is Blocking Uploads
I removed my primary hard drive and installed a new, faster larger one. When I installed Network Magic I have been getting some significant problems:
1. Speed test shows 0 Kbps upload speed and the gauge shows nothing uploaded on the Network Magic Speed Test
2. I can NOT upload my videos to my external video publishing site - the Vimeo uploader is erroring out and crashing. When I try the browser tool, I am getting an error that says I can not upload the file.
I did not have this problem before I reinstalled Network Magic. My other computers do not have this problem.
I am using:
Network Magic Pro Version 5.5.9195.0-pure0
The OS on this computer is Vista Ultimate Service Pack 2
The internet connection is CABLE via Atlantic Broadband
The Router is a Linksys WRT610Nv2 Fireware 2.00.00 B05
The computer's virus software is NETSAFE Security Suite from Altantic Broadband - Firewall is NOT active. Network magic is recognising my vonage device as the router.
I am trying to add a laptop to my network and get the message that I can not add the device wirelessly because network magic can not change the security settings of my router. When I go to the map my Vonage device is being recognised as my router.

Can't even hit agree for the security agreement
I have downloaded the Itunes software, but I can't even sync anything to my new Ipod nano because I can't even agree to the software license agreement! There is no scroll bar on the bottom of my screen when I look at the software license agreement page, so I can't scroll to hit the button on the right, bottom of the page to agree to the terms of the software agreement. So by not being able to do that I can't sync my ipod. Can anyone help with this?? Thanks soooo much!!!

I can't open iTunes...very BIG problem
I just downloaded the newest iTunes (6.0.5) and can't even use it. Everytime i open iTunes, I must first agree to the software license agreement, and then i get a message stating "The iTunes Music Library.itl file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is the 'iTunes' folder in the 'My Music' folder."
I have tried everything. I have reinstalled iTunes, uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it again and again. nothing seems to be working though, i just keep getting the same message. Please help me, i can't even open my iTunes untill this problem is solved.have you tried to restore your library?

Can't even connect to my home network.
Title says it all, bought a 64gig iPad wifi today...little did i know tons of users are having wifi problems...my problem doesnt seem to fit the others though. Most of what i've read people can connect for a bit, and after being in sleep mode then it has problems. I can't even connect to my home network. Works fine with my ipod Touch, laptop, etc. I dont have any form of security set up on my router what so ever. I plan on buying a new router soon (for reasons other than this iPad crap.) I'd really like to see some kind of resolution to this problem before i need to do that though.
I tried all that i could out of the trouble shooting stuff. nothing worked. I even tried setting up a static IP for it. What else can be done? i really dont want to have to return it since its such a nice piece of tech.Umm... one of the questions that's been asked is whether his iPad will connect anywhere else, If it will, the issues is between the iPad and the particular configuration he has at home. If not, the issue is with the iPad.
Since we don't have an answer to that question yet, your inference that anyone is telling him to "phone ahead to every business or hotel he plans on visiting to request that they replace their "clunky old router" " is unjustified and unhelpful.
Please, continuously blaming every ipad wifi issue on the same router that happily works with every other device is getting old. What standards does iPad support that these clunky old routers do not?
Since, as you've said in another post, you're experienced in the ways of the internet, you will know that it's quite common for new kit to have problems connecting to old kit. -
The wi-fi in my iphone 4S is 'greyed out' and i am not able to switch it on. I have tried resetting the network settings but nothing happened. I can't even download the new iOS7 version as it requires WI-FI to do so. Please help.
I had same problem. I removed the back cover, and warmed wi-fi module by hairdryer of my wife). five days wi-fi works great. I do not know what will happen next.

IPHONE 5: can't receive calls and random error messages, such as "could not activate cellular data network" and "no connection - network unavailable, please connect to wifi or cellular network." This occurs even when signal strength or wifi is operational, and it does not matter whether wifi is on or off. ATT went through the standard protocol - resetting network, resetting sim card, etc. No changes. Other phones working fine in same region with same carrier. Apple's solution is to restore software, but haven't gone there yet. Anyone successfully addressed this/these issues?
I should point out that it worked when the iPhone was set back to factory settings, but when restored with the backup, data/internet no longer works again, and I get the "Could not activate cellular data network" error message yet again.

I Removed itunes from my pc, and tried to redownload/install it, now i can't even get it installed, it says " The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" What do i do to get itunes back on my pc?
This kind of problem can often be fixed with the microsoft Installer cleanup utility.
Unfortunately the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility has been withdrawn by Microsoft because of compatibility issues with Microsoft Office so you will need to find a copy elsewhere – the installer is msicuu2.exe. You need version 3.

Check for malware before installing it.
After installing, To run the program – All Programs>>Windows Install
If you get permission denied error, Try Run as Administrator – an option if you right click on the program.
When you run the cleanup utility, look for any instance that you find of iTunes and remove it.
It is possible that you will have to remove other apple programs if removing iTunes doesn't allow you to install iTunes. Post back with any furtyher error messages if there is a problem. -

Don't worry, just follow these steps to fix iPhone stuck on Apple logo
=> First of all Start your Computer and then connect with Internet connection, now Download the latest version of the iTunes application
=> Now install the iTunes application in your System and connect your Device with computer via Data cable
=> Now connect your Device with iTunes application and then Tab on summary option, see in the left side bar of iTunes
=> Now Select restore option from iTunes and then confirm the Restore Message for better results. After this unplug your Device and Restart it

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever. -

can you see the wi-fi address in the about? if it show N/A, your iphone needs to be repaired.
if your ios is 5.1.1 or you can see the wi-fi address,you could try to connect your iphone to the itunes to restore and update.
