Network says Searching and connect to iTunes
The oriblem started about a week ago, all of a sudden the phone got extremely hot so i turned it off. When i got home i did a restore of the phone and now all i get is that it is searching for a network with or without the sim installed and it tells me to connect to iTunes at the activation stages. Once in iTunes i have had a message saying that the iPhone is damaged and cannot be activated for service and another saying something about the sim card although i have tried using various sim cards with no success. Any suggestions is highly appreciated.
u have to put the iphone into recovery mode and restore
STEPS for Forced Recovery:
a. Power the phone off completely
b. Hold down the HOME BUTTON
c. Reconnect to the cable while holding down the home button until iTunes shows up on the iPhone screen...then LET GO of the home button.
d. Then, iTunes on the computer should have this message:
ee. Click OK > Restore

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Power cycle the router.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. -

Can't connect to the iTunes Store - Apple Support
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

I've downloaded the app clash of clans and I want to purchase an item on the game but when I go to purchase it something pops up and says I cannot connect to iTunes Store. Having said that I have a valid credit card entered into my iCloud account.

I bought my son a 1st generation Ipod touch off of Ebay. We set it back to factory settings and downloaded the newest version of itunes. Whenever he tries to download any apps it says "can not connect to itunes" I have checked the wifi connection and that is working (he can get on safari) and we have the newest version of windows. He was so excited to finally get his first Ipod and now cant do anything with it...please help

I have a iPod touch and i installed it on my other laptop until i had just got another one it says unable to connect to iTunes and i forgot my password and i delete the email and i don't know how i can get my i pod touch to work with my new one email.
I JUST NEED HELPI would contact Apple under your warranty. I doubt you received a new iPod since Apple's policy is to give you a refurbished iPod.

I forgot my iphone's password and it is disabled now because i tried so many times to open it. Now it's saying "your iphone is disabled and connect to itunes" i connected it to itunes and clicked restore. How long will it take for my phone to restore? Is it gonna be 24 hours?
It appears like there is maintenance or something affecting the iTunes server today. I recommend giving it a few hours and trying again. It shouldn't take that long to restore but from what I hear, there is definitely something going on with the iTunes server today.
