Network Unavailable Galaxy S3

I setup all of my emails. Gmail, Yahoo, Pop3 settings are all correct. Incoming, outgoing correct. I can check my emails all day on wifi...but when I switch over to Mobile data... my emails are unavailable. It says "Network Unavailable" at the bottom of the screen. Why? What do I do to fix this? I'm able to browse the internet on mobile, but emails nada. Once in a great while if I refresh my emails a half dozen times, it will finally load one but then it goes back to unavailable.
Errors:
Connection Error
Network Unavailable
Please help!

Are you close to your data limit or something? Also if you go into your settings and scroll down to Accounts and Sync you can manually sync all your accounts and tell it what you want to sync and not to sync.

    IPHONE 5:  can't receive calls and random error messages, such as "could not activate cellular data network" and "no connection - network unavailable, please connect to wifi or cellular network."  This occurs even when signal strength or wifi is operational, and it does not matter whether wifi is on or off.  ATT went through the standard protocol - resetting network, resetting sim card, etc.  No changes.  Other phones working fine in same region with same carrier.  Apple's solution is to restore software, but haven't gone there yet.  Anyone successfully addressed this/these issues?

    I should point out that it worked when the iPhone was set back to factory settings, but when restored with the backup, data/internet no longer works again, and I get the "Could not activate cellular data network" error message yet again.

  • Adobe 9.3.4 won't uninstall-network unavailable-need msi file

    My OS is XP.  I've used Adobe Reader for years.  It was working just fine until about a month ago.  When I attempt to print from Primopdf,  I can get the screen that says "Create PDF"--once I click on it nothing happens. That happened a time or two before.  When I uninstalled & reinstalled the Primopdf program it took care of the problem.  (I can still create pdf files from scanned documents.)
    Next I uninstalled the Adobe Reader program, and installed the updated version, Adobe Reader 9.3.4.  That still didn't work.  Now Adobe Reader 9.3.4  won't uninstall. I get a message that says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resouce that is unavailable."  I've checked in my 'Program files' to see if Adobe reader is there--I find a 90.3 MB Reader folder, (with several folders & files) indicating it does exist.  Though I see an AcroRd32.exe that shows its a 9.3.3.177 file. (So evidently I don't have the upgrade, but the previous version, right?)
    After the 'network unavailable' message appears, a prompt gives an option enter an alternate path to: AdbeRdr930.en.us.msi file.  If I had that file, would that solve my problem?  I've read complex instructions, and not sure how to obtain that file.  Is there some way I can obtain & download that file?
    I've run registry cleaner programs, the Advanced SystemCare Diagnositic program, etc.  I've read about forced program deletions--though not sure about that?  I downloaded the Microsoft Windows Installer Cleanup Utility--then it said was for Window 95/98--couldn't find for XP.
    OK computer gurus--what should I do, short of reinstalling my OS?  This is like 'gum on shoes' and it's really annoying.
    Thanks for some recommendations to hurdle this problem.

    Check the version of AcroRd32.dll - that should show you the 9.3.4 version.

    The Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html) works on all Windows versions; you should be able to remove your current Reader with it.

    Attempting to connect my MacBook to my 4s iPhone.  I have had them connected in the past to use the "hands off" function. Today it tells me "network unavailable"  make sure network access is enabled.  I don't know what to do. I love the hands off feature as my iPhone is never with me when on my mac! I'm not sure what to do.  Both are "discoverable" via bluetooth and show up on each device but when I try to connect it says "network unavailable".  HELP!

    An iPhone will not pair via Bluetooth to a computer (Mac or Windows) except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-7722
    If you are attempting to use Handoff/Continuity, that does involve Bluetooth but the devices are NOT paired; Bluetooth just needs to be on and the devices in range of each other. The following may help with Handoff/Continuity issues: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5458

  • [Solved] netcfg Network Unavailable.

    Hi,
    When trying to connect to a wireless network with netcfg it always fails with 'Network Unavailable'. Everything used to work with network-manager under Gnome.  Lsmod says the iwl3945 module is loaded and iwconfig says;
    wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"@Home94004"
    Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: Not-Associated
    Tx-Power=27 dBm
    Retry min limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr=2352 B
    Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
    Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
    Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0
    iwlist doesn't give any scan results but the XP laptop 10cm away can find the network. Network-manager also used to find the network.
    this is my profile;
    CONNECTION="wireless"
    INTERFACE=wlan0
    SCAN="yes"
    SECURITY="wpa"
    ESSID="@Home94004"
    KEY="*********"
    IP="dhcp"
    TIMEOUT=30
    I'd appreciate some pointers on what to check next.
    Thanks.

  • Network unavailable / OfficeJet 6500

    I am on Mac Os X 10.5.7 and just bought an Officejet 6500 Wireless.  Trying to get that printer to join my wireless network.  The network is through an Airport Extreme Base Station.  The HP Setup Assistant finds the network, displays the correct SSID, and correctly tells me I am set to Infrastructure.  But when I type in my password / WPA2 Personal code AKA Network Security Key, I get the message "Network Unavailable.  The selected Wi-Fi Network is not within the reach of the device."
    It is sitting right next to the AEBS.
    Please help anyone.  Thank you.

    I have same problem with new HP officejet 6500 wireless. Your suggestions to others so far have not worked...
    Have LInksys router.  have tried disabling security have tried wireless modes g  b n all with no security or with WPA2 which is what originally was on the router.
    Apple laptop works fine on wireless net no matter the settings.  ful signal strength at location of printer.  HP  software run on macbook will only say "The selected Wi-Fi Network "Wireless" is not within the reach of the device.
    Manual or wizard settings at printer control panel will only give  "Error  cannot connect to network press cancel to exit"
    Any suggestions?
    thank you

  • Network Unavailable "not within reach of the device"

    I am trying to connect my HP 3050 to our router via my MacBook (v.10.6.08).  I have installed the HP software, and when I got to Network SetUp and put in the password, I get this message: "Network Unavailable -  The selected Wi-Fi Network "XXXX" is not within the reach of the device."
    What do I need to do?  The printer is literally 2 feet farther away from the router than the laptop I am currently using with   no problem.  Is that enough to make a difference?  Any help is appreciated.

    Hello FLTEACHER2010,
    Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
    I see you are having a hard time installing / setting up the Deskjet 3050 on your Mac 10.6.8. The error, in my experience, is given when the router has a guest network or the Mac is on a different network than the network the printer is trying to connect to.
    I typically recommend to have the router, at minimum, 6 feet away from any device that it is to be connected to. This is to prevent the network from over looking the device.
    Try moving the printer or router, power off or disconnect the power cord from the router for one minute (allows the router to reboot), ensure the Mac is connected to correct network and attempt the setup again.
    Cheers,
    JERENDS

  • Samsun Gusto 3 Unable to access My Verizon- Error, Network Problem, Network Unavailable

    I have a new Samsung Gusto 3.
    When I click on Settings- My Verizon, I get an error -  Unable to access My Verizon- Error, Network Problem, Network Unavailable. My wife has a similar phone and hers works just fine.
    I have had the phone now for about two weeks and the problem is still there.
    John

    I do not know what ‘data blocks’ are. This phone is brand new – now only two weeks old. I brought it to replace an older phone. That older phone had no problem accessing ‘My Verizon’ – so when I did a simple ‘replace’ of my old phone with the new one – everything should continue to work as before. BUT it does not access My Verizon.
    That is all I know. When I bought the new phone, I just followed the prompts to transfer my account to the new one.
    My plan is Basic pay as you go.

  • Xfinity tv iPad app: Play Now gives "Network Unavailable" error

    When I try to use the "Play Now" function on the xfinity tv iPad app, I get this error whenever I try click "Play": "Network Unavailable. Please check your internet connection or proxy settings and try again." This is on an iPad sitting on my home network -- no proxy, strong signal. No other network issues on the iPad (I can browse, use Netflix streaming, etc.). I tried signing out and signing back in, tried deleting the app and re-installing. I can browse all of the other content in the app, so the app itself is clearly connecting to the network just fine -- it just can't play any content. Any ideas? Anyone else see this error?

    There are two problems mentioned in this thread. Mine was mostly that the "lock orientation" slider is now the "mute slider". Last I checked, I could watch a few movies using Play Now even though I don't subscribe to any premium channels. However, I do need to sign on to my Comcast account.
    I did remove the app from my iPad and reinstall it from iTunes on my computer.
    The other user, jburst, was getting a "Network Unavailable" message after doing various troubleshooting. I don't know if they are still experiencing that.
    dragynx, are you saying you are getting that "Network Unavailable" error? Have you totally quit the app? It's my understanding that the Play Now feature is available throughout the country.
    I'm a customer like you trying to get it to work.

  • Receive network unavailable on c4780 wireless printer

    I have recently installed an Airport Extreme and cannot get my C4780 printer to connect to the network wirelessly. Have verified the printer is working correctly via a usb connect to my iMac. Have downloaded the HP suite of applications to support the printer. Have installed and reinstalled software and drivers several times. Message when I attempt to connect to one of the listed networks is that the "Network Unavailable" however they are 3 feet from each other.

    I looked up the specifications on the HP printer and found that it does not support "n" wireless.....only "b/g".....very surprising....and I could not find anything about what types of wireless security it supports.
    So, you are probably going to have to drop down in performance on the AirPort Extreme to allow the HP to connect and experiment to find a compatible security setting for the HP.
    Open AirPort Utility - Click Manual Setup
    Click Wireless just below the row of icons
    Hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the Radio Mode selection box and select the following Radio Mode:
    802.11 n only 5 GHz --- 802.11 b/g
    Temporarily, change the setting for Wireless Security to None and click Update to save the settings.
    See if the HP will connect. If it will, then you have the correct Radio Mode setting.
    You will now need to experiment with different settings for Wireless Security to find a compatible setting for the HP.
    Open AirPort Utility - Manual Setup
    Click the Wireless tab
    Wireless Security = Try WPA2 Peronal first, then WPA/WPA2 Personal, if WPA2 Personal will not work.
