hi sir i have a compaq prasario cq42 notebook and i am unable to access wifi on my laptop i need a wirless and a lan driver i tried but i didnt not found any matching with my laptop, can you please help me out with the drivers so that i can use wifi on my laptop and also i dont have a webcam driver i need that one as well

I would like to check if the needed drivers (one or both) are included in the installations CDs (netinstall / core).

HP Probook 4440s WIFI Drivers Not Working After Windows 10 Update

I updated my Hp ProBook 4440s from windows 7 32 bit to Windows 10 32 bit, everything is working except for my WiFi it says 'Windows did not detect any networking hardware' Can you please provide me with the compatible wifi drivers for Windows 10 Pro 32 bit. I hope you can help

Hi: I guess what I meant to say is that you may want to play around with some of the advanced settings for the card in the device manager. It seems that reading the article you posted, that procedure may have been for folks that have Cisco software to allow for Virtual Private Networking (VPN) and I don't think the drivers you have include any Cisco extensions. You can see if there is Cisco networking software by going to the Programs menu in the control panel and see the list of programs installed. There are usually 2-3 Cisco networking software items listed if you do. Sometimes tweaking those advanced settings help. Set Roam tendency to conservative. Roam decision to optimize distance. I had to change some setting on an old Intel 5300 wireless card to allow it to connect in W10. SM30-304 Wireless/WiFi drivers

I have recently had problems connecting my SM30-304 laptop (part number PSM30E-0QKJ1-5U) to my home wireless network which uses PSK securtiy. The router is Netgear and I am running Windows XP Home SP2.
The network is visible, however when I try to connect to it, Windows does not prompt me to enter the password for the network and refuses to aquire an IP address from the router. The drivers installed for the network adapter date from 2003 and do not support PSK security?

however upon attempting to install them, an error appears claiming that they are the wrong ones for the card?
I am not sure where to go from here as I am not sure WEP will be usable in this instance. Did I get the correct drivers for the device or is there another problem?

Hello
In my opinion problem is something else. If your WLAN is visible that shows that WiFi card works well. If you can not connect it to your local WLAN it is because of settings.
Try to remove WLAN protecting for a short time and check if you can use it in this case.

No network, WiFi, 3G after iOS 7.0.6 Update (iPhone 4s)

Following my update to iOS 7.0.6 which completed with no apparent problems, my phone has lost all connectivity to my network, WiFi and 3G services.
'Carrier Settings' no longer appears in my Settings menu, and in 'About' I cannot view IC, or IMEI number - they appear to have disappeared. Furthermore, Network appears as "Not available".
Instead of 'Sim Fault', 'No Sim', or carrier information in the top left of the screen I have 'Searching' instead.
I have spoken to my network provider who cannot provide me an answer, and instead have pointed me in the direction of Apple.
I have attempted the following thus far with no result:
Soft reset - same result
Recovery mode reset - same result
Reset all settings and content - Not possible as cannot verify Apple ID password with no internet connectivity
Reset carrier settings - same result
Restore iPhone via iTunes - Not possible as cannot turn off Find My iPhone, cannot verify Apple ID to turn off function without internet connectivity
Attempted different sim in same phone - no change, 'Searching' still present in top left and no WiFi / 3G
Please if anyone can offer any support in this matter I would greatly appreciate it.

I just updated from iOS 7.0.4 to 7.0.6 and now my carrier signal is UNSTABLE. It will have a complete signal with 3G, and then after a few seconds the 3G signal will be lost and then the carrier symbol will be lost, and then the signal bar will decrease from 5 bars to no signal at all and then just repeat the cycle. I can receive messages but only when the signal is complete. I'm very frustrated coz i also use mg 3G connection as my internet through tethering but since the signal is unstable, i can't use it properly!

Do I need to reinstall my network card drivers?

I just got off the phone with a second level tech from Adelphia. I called because webpages are taking a long time to load (among other things). All the tests he ran checked out fine. He said that I needed to contact Apple and have them help me uninstall and then reinstall my network card drivers.
Has anyone heard of this? If so, can someone step me through it? Thanks

That's not the way wifi works.
You may see the other networks but you are not connected to them in any way.

[W520] Can't install updates for Intel WiDi or WiFi drivers

The Lenovo ThinkVantage System Update is telling me there are Intel WiDi and WiFi drivers available. When I try to install them they seem to install fine, I get a Windows pop-up saying 'you're new hardware has installed correctly', then my system restarts and the updates are still listed as new available updates. In the ThinkVantage update history it says for both "Did not install". When I look at the driver version for the WiFi driver it is 14.03.0000.0 but I already have version 15.1.0.18 according to the ThinkBantage Toolbox System Information. So I already have the newest drivers? Why is the Update tool prompting for these updates? Should I just hide these updates? I don't care about WiDi but I'd like to have the newest WiFi drivers.

I understand the frustration this must cause you. If You uninstall and reinstall the System update and the WiDi and WiFi drivers. This could fix your problem.

Refreshed pc and lost all network controller drivers

Upgraded to Windows 8. Made file history backup then clicked Refresh My PC & it uninstalled ALL of my Network Controller Drivers, so no more Network connections or settings of any kind. The only Recovery DVDs are for W 7. Do I have to reinstall 7 & then 8? With my 3 System Recovery DVDs, I also got an Application and Driver Recovery DVD. Can I Use that one to recover just the drivers I need without reinstalling the whole W 7 system from the other DVDs? Much Thanks in advance!

How to update my wifi drivers

I have a macbook running Vista Home Premium (2gb RAM), the sound is awful and stutters, skips...etc, ahhhhh Windows, we love you! Anyway, I unfortunately need to use it, and a suggestion has been to upgrade all wifi drivers.
Firstly, wont they be upgraded automatically by my apple software updates?
Secondly, if not, how do I find out the makes so that I can upgrade. I've tried "About My Mac".

I have similar problem to above, but a different wireless adapter. Using T440s. Upgraded to windows 10 pro x64 and most things are working well however the wifi is very wonky. The T440s is in the same room as the router so signal strength is not an issue, and all was working well on windows 7 before upgrading. While there is connectivity, the throughput is fluctuating. It will be ok for a few seconds (6-10MB/s) then the connection will die and drop to 0MB/s. Then it will go really slow, 30-60KB/s, then perhaps it will climb back up to normal speeds. Sometimes it will just stay dead. I have noticed in the connection properties window the value for Speed is changing, this is something that I have never seen before. In the past, it was always "Speed: 300.0 Mbps" Now it's fluctuating to all sorts of different values, I've seen 300, 270, 150, 235, 27, 36, 210, it's all over the place. The adapter is "Intel Dual Band Wireless 7260AC with Bluetooth 4.0" Have tried driver 18.11.0.8 from lenovo and also one from the Intel site, happens on both. :UPDATE: After looking at the readme for these drivers i seen this in the 'limitations' section: "Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radio are both operating on the same 2.4 GHz band. When both of them are used simultaneously, you may see slower communication speed and/or reduced communication range caused by radio interference." I have confirmed this is my issue, extensive testing shows consistently that when my bluetooth mouse is off the issue does not exist. Not sure how to proceed, I can't change my router to 5ghz as there are incompatible devices in the house.

Is there a maximum number of Network Filter Drivers in Windows 7?

I recently tried to install Windows XP Mode on my Windows 7 laptop, and experienced a number of failures...
According to a post elsewhere on this forum (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-GB/w7itprovirt/thread/00c74bd9-da7b-4acb-ae5a-7112377bc7e2), one of the possible causes of this is if the maximum number of network filter drivers is installed - from Thayu:
"From your logs, the error is 0x8004a029, which basically indicates that the maximum number of network filter drivers has been reached.
Could you uninstall any other network filter driver that you think is not necessary and try installing VPC again?"
So, I uninstalled Cisco VPN, and retried the XP Mode installation, which now worked... However, I am now unable to re-install Cisco VPN - presumably for the same reason...
The software I have installed that seems relevant is:
Symantec Endpoint Security
Checkpoint VPN-1 SecureClient
Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 (XP Mode)
So, am I right in thinking the maximum number of network filter drivers in Windows 7 is 3?? Is this configurable??
This is a really worrying limit for me, as I have a number of customers that I have to be able to connect to, requiring both CheckPoint and Cisco VPN software to be installed... I also require XP Mode to connect by VPN to legacy clients that don't support the MS-CHAP2 protocol, and I'd be stupid to run without Anti-virus...
Any suggestions?

Based on my research, I would like to answer you that the maximum number of network filter drivers in Windows 7 is 14. However, it is hard coded to allow 14 filter drivers. By default, the number is 8. To view the number or modify the number, please access the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\MaxNumFilters
Usually, the network filter drivers are listed in the Network Connection’s Properties. Also, it can be located by some third party programs, such as antivirus program.
