    Hi,
Just use Trinidad's, I don't think 11g has an equivalent and Chris suggestion won't really work in this case as visible="false" is the same as rendered="false" for decoding purpose and you want it to be decoded in your case. Another poor man's solution would be

  • Content Engine Network Module for Caching File Server Objects

We have a content engine network module for a 2821 router located at a branch office that we'd like to use for clients to obtain locally cached file objects from a Windos server located at our headquarters or corporate office. I've been looking for some sample configs or documentation that will show me that this is possible and on how to do it since this is my first time ever doing. All I was able to find so far was the link below under "Support of Preloading of NTLM Authenticated Objects", but it seems incomplete in providing configuration tasks that most CCO doc's usually provide. Has anyone else had any luck finding some useful doc's or sample configs to get this accomplish? Thanks in advance.
    http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/webscale/uce/acns55/55ldg/urlfiltr.htm#wp1158213

You can't cache Windows Files using the Cache Engines.
You CAN do this using WAFS though. I'd suggest looking at the WAFS (or upcoming WAAS) products, which use WCCP like the Cache Engines to transparently redirect Windows File Sharing requests.

  • Network sizing for SAP printing

    Dear all,
We are in the midst of sizing network bandwidth requirement for SAP implementation which involves some remote locations. Actually Iu2019ve gone through the documentation (Front-End Network Requirements for SAP Business Solutions), and found the way of calculating the network requirements based on number of users (C = N * D * X * 0.25 formula), however Iu2019m not sure if the formula does include the SAP printing bandwidth requirement. Appreciate if you can shed some lights on SAP printing network sizing guide or sort.
    Best regards
    Rolando

    Thanks Susanne,
Understand we need to rely on the information on how much the printing requirement is to come up with the estimation on SAP printing bandwidth requirement.
Perhaps you have some experience on the size of 1 page of SAP printlist (plain text) ? Is it safe to have assumption that 1 page of print list would have 20-30 KB in size? And ones with pictures/logos are 100-200KB in size?
    Best regards

  • Limiting network bandwith for SAP printing

We are usinge ERP 6.0 (Win / MSSQL).  One of the issues we are facing is that SAP printing take too much network bandwith.
Our network bandwith between Datacenter and office is 1Mbps.
Is ther any way to limit the use of network bandwith for SAP printing. Let's say up to 30 % of bandwith is assigned to SAP printing.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I am not aware of such way to "assign" bandwidth. For this reason you need to do precise network capacity planning and start the printing only when you do not have a peak of other important activities.
    Best regards.

  • Network speed for spatial oracle-Arcsde databases

    Hi all
I am working in a oracle -ArcSDE production database environment. The data size is huge and more than 100 users are connected to the database. Wht should be the Reccomended Network speed for the database?
    Thanks in Advance
    Albin

    Albin,
Obviously the faster the network, the quicker you will move data from the database to the client. However, in most cases (at least with a 1Gb network) I find that the neither the database or the network are usually the bottleneck with ArcMap, but instead the client-side "SDE"/rendering process. This is especially true when returning large numbers of geometries. The 10.x engine just chokes on anything more than a few thousand objects, and unfortunately the render model they use causes a full refresh on any movement / zoom, repeating the painful process over and over.
In a nutshell, it is simply a poorly designed architecture for today's loads. Our custom Java WebStart GIS client runs circles around it. Hopefully the new project they are working on will improve performance, especially when using native SDO_GEOMETRY data - but I haven't really had time to pound on it yet to verify that one way or another.

  • HP Enterprise Integration Module for SAP - Windows Server 2008

Is there a download for the HP Enterprise Integration Module which will run on Windows Server 2008 for QC Version 10?  HP Support has directed me to SAP Support for the Integration Versino 2.5 and above.

    Hello John,
    now I have a resolution.
I have deinstalled the MS SQL 2008 and install MS SQL 2005 plus SP2 at windows 2008 64bit VMware.
After reinstall HP Quality Center everything works fine.
( SQL 2008 is not official supported )
But there is another problem with the HP Enterprise Integration module 2.50 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EhP1,
the installer has a problem and does not work at windows 2008.
    - this is a known HP problem and they should be published a newer version without the installer problem.
Today (april 6) I can't find an update, takes a while ... the "bad" version "setup_win.exe" has 132.327 kb.
you can only download the package from:
    http://update.external.hp.com/qualitycenter/qc100/ent/enterprise_integration/index.html
you can find all add-ins at:
    http://update.external.hp.com/qualitycenter/qc100/index.html
You should patch HP QC 10.00 with patch 10, see note 1329891 for details, takes 10 minutes or so.
    With reards,
    Michael

  • Function Modules for SAP FSCD

    Hi All,
Can anyone provide me with the standard Function Modules for FPE1 and FP08 Transaction code respectively. Actually I need to create a payment request based on the user requirement and cancel/delete the same payment request if he/she wants to cancel it. To do this FPE1 and FP08 are used, but I need their functionality in the code, so I need some Function Modules, which can take care of this.
Also you can suggest some alternative ways of achieving my objective.
    Any suggestion shall be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Chandan

    I found out the solution.

I think the Invision Power Board supports Oracle, but you have to have a driver for it to work.

  • Compile module for Oracle VM Server

I need to install the the RDAC multipath driver.
To do this I need to compile the driver module. I have installed kernel-ovs-devel-2.6.18-8.1.6.0.18.el5.i686.rpm but when now I need the gcc compiler --- and propably other stuff as well.
How can I install the gcc compiler on the ovs system ? Or how can I compile the rdac module for the Oracle VM server ?
I have read somewhere that the Oracle VM server is based on EL5 --- but how can I use this information to compile the driver ?

I don't like suggesting thing "a" when people like to get an answer for "b" - however, lets go :)
OracleVM comes with device mapper multipathing. This is a general multipath driver. You can use this as an alternative to RDAC.
Advantages: Runs on most stoarges and you don't need tom compile modules.
Setup is also very easy. Just install the device-mapper-multipath package from the OracleVM CD. run "chkconfig multipathd on". Comment out the "blacklist" section in /etc/multipath.conf. Reboot. And then you should see devices in /dev/mapper.
Just use those devices instead of /dev/sdX and you have multipathing. You can verify this by cable pulling. Also execute "multipath -l" so see what's happening.
    Regards,
    Robert
p.s. For GCC you probably need gcc, glibc-devel, libgcc, libgomp and maybe some more, but just try to install gcc - it tells you what packages are missing. Then just install those from the Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 CD.
