Never Ending Authorize loop

I'm now running into the never ending authorization loop.
I've found the KB Article and have followed all of the steps, but am still not able to get passed it.
I am noticing however that there are some discrepancies, even when I attempt to login to this site.
My Apple ID doesn't follow an e-mail address format [email protected] When I go to authorize however, by default, the system puts in the @xxx.com extension. I remove it and the system tells me that the computer is already authorized.
I'm using Windows7 x64 with iTunes 9.0.2.25 and a 3rd Generation Nano.
I've sent an e-mail in to Apple for guidance, but am looking for any other ideas.

Here is some additional information that I find questionable / lead me to believe that this is a bug in the system.
As I continue to look through the list of files that are "Not Authorized" I find that some of them are files, I didn't purchase through the iTunes store, but rather music that was imported via a CD from my collection.
What's going on Apple?!?!

  • SOLUTION for the never ending reboot loop when charging

I used my iPad until the battery was completely flat, then when I went to charge it, it got stuck in the never ending reboot loop where it shows the Apple logo for about 30 seconds, then shows the home screen for a split second before shutting down and repeating the whole process again and again.
So here's what you need to do to fix this problem without having to restore or plug into iTunes.
    1. Plug in the charger
    2. When the Apple logo appears, unplug the charger
    3. As soon as you see the home screen appear, plug the charger back in. You need to do this quickly as the home screen only shows for a split second
    4. The loading wheel should appear and shut down the iPad
    5. Leave the iPad for a good 30mins or so just to get some battery life into before you start using it again.
    And that's it!

Figured I'd start recording the errors I get in the Installer Log:

  • The never ending installation loop - Help!

    Dear Apple Forums,
I can honestly say I used to hate apple, but since buying one for university use I've come to love my little MacBook Pro. However, it has recently suffered a massive problem and I've run into a very difficult situation. My macbook pro started giving me problems a couple weeks ago with the mac screen of death ("please restart your computer" in 3 languages) and I attempted to fix it using the mac troubleshooting guide online to no avail. Things only got worse as it took up to 7 attempts to get to the desktop. I finally decided to reformat this bad boy in hopes that whatever was wrong with it would go away.
However, I've run into a major problem with the installation process. It seemed to be running fine through the first Mac OS X install disk, and it asked me to restart my computer, which I attempted when it showed me the screen of death. I just ignored it and continued on by inserting the second disk when prompted. Now I seem to be stuck in an endless loop of installation. I get to about half way through the installation when it tells me there was an error and that I should try installing again. I've attempted to install the second disk about eight times now, and I don't know what I need to do next.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live in Maine, and I don't want to have to drive to New Hampshire to fix my precious computer.

Figured I'd start recording the errors I get in the Installer Log:

  • Safari (and other browsers) go into never ending crash loop

Since I got Lion, by default when you open an application, it remembers its state when it was closed last time. So what happened was my wife went to this malicious websites that opened hundreds of windows automatically and crashed her safari. Now, whenever he opens Safari, it again opens all those window and crashes immediately. There seems to be no way to stop this loop. I tried restarting the machine without checking "reopen windows...." option, but this state-retention is application specific, so Safari itself remembers what to open every time.
This is true to Chrome too.
Then I also notice that when I open a PPT document for example, the first docuemtn it shows is an old one I had. In fact, I don't like seeing half dozen documents opened whenever I want to open just one.
Is there a central way to stop my applications from opening all these documents that were opened while I closed the application last time?
How do I get out of the Safari/Chrome crashing loop?
    Thanks

    Hi..
    Try this on Safari first...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
    ~/Library/Safari
    Click Go
Move these files from the Safari folder to the Trash.
    History.plist
    Downloads.plist
    LastSession.plist
Quit then relaunch Safari to test. If that didn't help, post a crash report so we can try and find out why Safari is crashing for you.
If Safari has just crashed, press the Report button on the CrashReporter dialog box to view the crash  information.
Copy/paste the entire contents of the Crash Reporter window into your reply. If the crash report dialog does not appear or the crash is hard to reproduce, crash logs can be retrieved from the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter> folder.
Whatever is causing Safari to crash may affect Chrome as well.

  • Fstab to mount/fsck DOS partition results in never-ending boot-loop

    Hi,
Last time I restarted my computer, I had added a line to fstab:
    /dev/sdc /mnt_usb vfat users,noauto,umask=0000 0 1
    /dev/sdc1 /mntc1 vfat users,noauto,umask=0000 0 1
Previously, I had only the first one, but then I added the second one just for ease of mounting a thumbdrive. When I restarted however, dosfsck would throw an error and say "reboot is required".. It would proceed to do this over and over. /dev/sdc was not in the computer at this time. I fixed it by Ctrl-Cing at the reboot prompt and then remounting everything to get a usable system and then commenting both of those lines out in fstab.
Is this expected behavior? Also, I'm still on the old rc.d scripts, I'm not for sure if this affects systemd(maybe a brave soul could try it)

That it makes no sense. You are trying to mount the /dev/sdc directly to /mnt_usb (btw, create subdirs under /mnt instead), but you are also trying to mount a partition under sdc under /mntc1.
Mounting a device directly is done only if you don't have partitions there, but if you do, you mount the partitions, not the device itself.
I did it this way because I wanted easy command-line mounting of thumbdrives, and other USB devices. I have a device that implements a FAT filesystem( http://mbed.org ) which can't have partitions... But, I also like to be able to mount a thumbdrive(with partitions) in a similar manner.
Is there a better way around this then? And also, should this really cause a bootloop? It seems it should fail a bit more... gracefully

  • AHHH! MacBook in never-ending restart loop!

After installing the AppleCare protection plan software and playing around with iDVD and iMovie for a couple of minutes, my MacBook randomly shut down. The last dozen times I've tried to turn it on, it goes through the white screen with the apple logo and a progress wheel, then goes immediately to a grey screen that says:
"You need to restart your computer. Press the power button for several seconds or press the restart key." in 5 languages.
I tried calling tech support - but they're closed for the holiday...

    Some basic steps to try...
Boot to the Install DVD (hold C key on startup) and when the top menu appears launch Disc Utility and verify/repair both permissions and the drive.
On the restart, try a SMC reset.
Failing this you might try booting into Safe Mode to see if things improve.

That would be the best thing to first do and then use the recovery media of which you will now have to order since the O/S seems corrupted beyond repairs. This way you can be sure the recovery media will restore it back to factory install and hopefully they will not do this again til they will consult first before upgrading the O/S.

  • AdamSync from AD to LDS goes into a continuous never ending loop... can't figure this out.

I THINK I've got this thing configured up to the point where it should be able to sync.  The XML config is set to just grab a single OU with roughly 12 accounts in it.
Everything seems to connect OK, then it does a ton of "Processing Entry", even though there are only a few accounts in this OU.

You don't seem to be using the cursor iterator variable "pitcher" when you print the data to the file. You are not even passing any parameter to the "konami_mlb_career_pit_crsr" cursor. As such the first cursor "konami_mlb_pitchers_crsr" appears to be redundant.
Maybe the loop is time-consuming (instead of "never-ending"), and if you wait long enough, it will end. In the meantime, you may want to tune your logic.

  • Min/Max never-ending loop

I am trying to stream data off a real time module and then perform some calculations on it. I am reading the data through a front panel on my PC. I want to find a way to measure the max and the min of each data stream. I constructed the attached VI to do that. Since the loop does not end, the data gets stuck in the loop and no more data is read from the real time module. I cannot end the loop because then the max/min calculations will end. I have thought about storing all of the information in an array and then using the array min/max VI to do my calculations, but this would be extremely inefficient because I need my model to run for hours on end. Is there a way to calculate minimums and maximums without a loop or storing everything in an array? Sorry for the newbie question.

    max test.vi ‏27 KB

You are close to your solution. You need to wrap you data acquisition code with something similar to this loop. The way it is now the data is only read in once, then as you note it is stuck in the array. Another thing is the initializing values. If you make both of them 0, and use the same type as the input data, they will immediately show the min and maxes. Additionally, you can make your comparisons G.T or L.T rather than G.E. or L.E. Another method, if you can't put the data acquisition in this loop would be to make it a "LabVIEW2 style global", consisting of three states, initialize, write, read. The vi is called, with the initialize method before the DAQ loop, the write is called right after your DAQ, and in another loop the read is called.

  • How to make a never-ending(looping) page in DW?

I want to make a page which repeats itself on the ipad when you scroll in any direction. In essense a never ending page.
Jus began using HTML5 for our app.

    Hi
You can do this just by repeating the code, but this is a sure way to stop anyone visiting your site -
The 'new' page is downloaded every time, (complete waste of bandwidth).
Your user will think that there is something wrong, so will go somewhere else.
On mobile devices bandwidth is now often limited and/or paid for.
A site that just repeats itself will on devices that can display the entire page download all the pages, ad infinitum.
