Never receive Order Ready for Pickup notifications.

For the second order in a row, I received an email stating: Please wait to pick up your order
We will send another e-mail notifying you when your order is ready for pickup. This notification will arrive in less than 45 minutes, as it takes us just a little time to get items ready for pickup in our stores. …but never receive any follow-up email stating the order is ready.  Logging into BB website, the first thing shown under Orders is "Order In Process", which implies it’s still not ready.  However, clicking on the order number shows that the order is Ready for Pickup. I sent an email about not being notified of order pickup status back in December and never received the courtesy of a response.  Best Buy needs to get their order notification system fixed.  I will not place any further orders with Best Buy until I receive communication on how this problem is being addressed. BTW- the bestbuy.com domain is whitelisted in my spam filter and it is not being caught in any filters.

In looking into your situation, I noted that a reply was sent to your recent email message. As stated in our reply, the issue has been escalated as of this morning. It's my understanding the there is currently not a problem with notifications affecting a great number of customers, but we will look into it and resolve any issue we discover.

    Pre-ordered Hardline Deluxe (PS4).  My order details says it's ready to be picked up in store (Montebello, CA - 1537).  I go to the store location and the sales rep says they haven't recieved any Deluxe Editions.  I was instructed to return later or Friday. (3 days from now). How does this happen with a pre-order?
    I called another location and they have received their allotment of Deluxe Editions (Glendora, CA).
    Should I cancel my current order and try another location?
    Is it possible to transfer the purchase to the Glendora, CA location and have them save a copy for me for pickup?

    You'll find your notes under Mail in iCloud. There's a separate folder on the left that's labeled notes so you can access them anywhere. And your me.com account will have the same password as your Apple ID (in fact, you can log into iCloud with just your Apple ID, as the two accounts are permanently linked).

    i just bought myself an iPad 2..i had succesfully register an account via iTunes but never get the verification email. Already resent it a couple of time. What i should do?

    If your account is working for you, just go ahead and use it.  If you do some searches on here you will find this topic raised a number of times...seems a lot of people did not get verification emails the site said they would get.  When the iCloud roll out occured, I never received a verification, either.  But the account works fine and has never been a problem.
    So, as long as the account works, use it and I would not be too worried about an email verification.

    i think if the sales order is order-relavant billing, then  it will appear in Vf04 Billing due list.
    if not updated they might be a problem in Billing Index needs to run a program SDVBUK00 note: 301254/128947
    before this check the table: VKDFC table wether SD index billing indiator sales order is upadting or not..  this i have done in one of my  project.

    I bought a Mac Book Pro from an Apple retail store. I went to Apple's free upgrade website. Successfully went through the verification process and received on-screen confimation that I was approved and an email would be sent to me. I never received an email. What do I do? How do I upgrade?

    Apple Support just informed me it can take up to 72 hours after submission to receive your code, even if the request has been already approved. I have been told "they are very busy sending out all these codes to so many people, so will take up to 72 hours to receive yours".

    For some reason is not working for a lot of people last couple of weeks, probably some code changed with Whatsapp and is preventing the FirefoxOS clients to conect.
    If you had the SMS before this problem arised then you wouldn't have notice the situation.

    I ordered a MacBook Air 11in upgraded so it won't come till the 12 of this month so I got a $100 iTunes gift cards with it. When I go to ordering select in store pickup for both items not thinking if they had a limit on the amount if days they will hold an item.  So I finished my order and then I get a notification later saying that my item is ready for pickup...then I realize my MacBook Air isn't going to be ready till the 12 so can I wait for my MacBook Air and pick them up on the same day or do I have to pick them up on separate days... Thanks

    they generally hold items for 5 days.  But if you call the store and explain the situation they will probably hold them longer, within reason.

    Hi,I placed an order for an Amazon Fire TV Stick yesterday to pick up at the Clarence, NY Store. When I completed the transaction, I got a page which thanked me for my order, but had no other information on it ( I checked out as a guest). In the past, I always got an immediate confirmation by email, followed later by an "order ready for pick up" email. Unfortunately, as of 23 hours later, I've still not received any confirmation or pickup emails for my order, but my credit card was charged for the transaction. Now what? Please advise. Ken

    The update is not automatic.
    You can either update over wifi by going to Settings - General - Software Update.   If you have enough space on your device you can upgrade.
    OR
    Update via iTunes.   You will need to update iTunes first, then you SHOULD perform a complete backup (just in case) then update your phone.

    I placed an order online with BestBuy.com today and, after checking the inventory of my closest Best Buy store, selected "in store pick up today" to fulfill my order and receive my items. Shortly thereafter, I received my order confirmation indicating that I should wait until I received an order fulfillment email - "We will send another e-mail notifying you when your order is ready for pickup. This notification will arrive in less than 45 minutes, as it takes us just a little time to get items ready for pickup in our stores."
    Now, maybe I am a complete fool for thinking that when I am told I would receive my order fulfillment notification in 45 minutes or less that I should actually receive that email...but after NOT receiving said email, I opted to go to the store 2 hours after receiving my confirmation email. Naturally, there is a COMPLETE disconnect between the in-store system and online and the poor in store folks had to hear my frustration with the order not being completed as indicated. When I returned home, I called Best Buy customer service to better understand why "Pick up in store today" does not actually mean today and that receiving an email saying it would be fulfilled in 45 minutes or less does not actually mean that would happen. After being spoken to like a complete child on the phone, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that I was in fact speaking to the supervisor. Imagine my surprise! This person had no explanation for any timeline as to when my order would be fulfilled and was belittling in her tone and verbage.
    This is the second time I have made the mistake of purchasing from Best Buy. And I will never make this mistake again. They should think about a re-branding as "really good deals but utter incompetency in customer service." When you indicate to a customer that their order will be fulfilled "today" and in 45 minutes no less, then you should actually see to completing that order.

    Placing an order online for store pickup should be a quick an easy process, so it's disheartening to learn of situations where that expectation may not have been met. I'd be disappointed too if an order I placed wasn't ready for pickup immediately, especially if in-store associates weren't able to shed any light on the situation.
    In most cases, orders placed on BestBuy.com can be fulfilled in a few short hours. From time to time, however, individual orders may be held for review by our support team if additional payment authorization proves necessary. When this occurs, it may result in a 1-2 business day delay before an affected order can be fulfilled. Additional processing time may also be required for select product categories, such as items requiring service activation (ex: mobile phones), special order items, major appliances and large-screen TVs.
    That being said, I was able to locate your account using the e-mail address you used to register for the forum and it appears you were able to pick up your order last night. If you require assistance with any other issues though, don't hesitate to let us know.
