    I am hoping that the string of errors that I have encountered does not prevent me from getting the reward certificates that should come with pre-ordering Shadow of Mordor. Let me start my adventure with this....
    On August 6th, I preordered Shadow of Mordor, along with two other games, on the same reciept. Now, I wanted Shadow of Mordor for my PS4 and the other two for Xbox One. I didn't pay attention and the checkout person made all 3 of them for the Xbox One. After I noticed I told her about the mistake and she assured me that I can still use it for the PS4 version and that my reward certificates wouldn't be affected. Okay, so I bought into that.
    When I went to purchase Shadow of Mordor on September 30th I was assured again that it would be okay. Now, I thought I had nothing to worry about....but as I looked at the reciept yesterday I just noticed that the customer service person never used the pre-order credit towards the game....sigh. I didn't notice at the time because I used some reward certiciates, the gamers club discount, and a gift card. I didn't do the math in my head because I was rushing and just got off work. 
    Is there anything I can do to get the $10? What happens to my unused pre-order credit now that the game has been released? I don't lose it do I? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I greatly appreciate multiple games at Best Buy! I do however apologize as it sounds like there may have been a mix up with which versions of each game you wanted. I’m happy to hear that we were able to get you the correct versions upon the release dates!   • Destiny - $10 Reward Certificate for Pre-order and Purchase

    So as the title states, according to BB's promotion,anyone that pre-orders the Destiny game and purchases it, gets a $10 reward certificate. 
    I was one of the lucky few that actually pre-ordered the Destiny Limited Edition and did not have it get cancelled due to limited suppy. Regardless, why doesn't the Destiny Limited Edition have the special offer for the $10 reward certificate for pre-order and purchase? I am hoping this is just an oversite.

    I wanted to jump in and reiterate what enuf has said. The $10 Reward Certificate bonus should be credited to your My Best Buy account within 20 days after you receive your copy of Destiny, whether it be picked up in-store or shipped to you. If for any reason you don’t see the points after this time has elapsed, please create a post letting us know and we’ll be more than happy to help out.

    One of the reasons I preordered Elder Scrolls Online for the Xbox One was the $10 reward certificate promotion that was going on. It has been over a week since I picked up the game, and I still haven't received the promotion, but my points issued for the game. Can you please check in to this and issue me the promotion? I was trying to use the promotion to make a purchase, but if I can't get it soon then I'll likely make my purchase from Amazon. Thanks in advance.

  • Missing "pre order points" for Shadow of Mordor.

    I've recently received Shadow of Mordor, I had the game pre ordered, but I'm positive that I didn't receive the 500 bonus points for pre ordering. I can't tell if they're pending or what with the new system, and I can't report those points missing through the "report missing points" menu.
    Can I get some help with that?

    It can generally take up to 20 days for points to post to a member's My Best Buy™ and Middle-earth: Shadows of Mordor was only released a few days ago (9/30/2014), so it might be a few more days before any points officially post to your account.  As far as I can tell though, your pre-order should qualify for the "Get $10" pre-order bonus points.  If you do not see 500 bonus points post to your account within 20 days, then please send me a private message and I will see what I can do.  A private message can be sent by clicking on the blue button in my signature.

    I preordered Shadow of Mordor on 9/19 and picked it up on release date.  Purchase point was posted to my account today, but I'm not seeing bonus points pending or posted to my account.

    If your pre-order of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor met the terms of the "Get $10" pre-order offer, then the 500 bonus points should post to your My Best Buy account within about 20 days.  Please keep in mind that these bonus points may not appear as pending along side the base points.  I looked over your account using the email address you registered with the forum, and from what I can see, your pre-order should qualify.
    With that all being said, if you do not see 500 bonus points post to your My Best Buy account within 20 days, then please feel free to send me a private message and I will make sure they are added to your account.  You can send a private message by clicking on the blue button in my signature labeled "Private Message."

    I am more than happy to give your My Best Buy™ account a once over .  What do you think of Madden NFL 15?  I really enjoy the changes they made to the running game and the increased attention to defensive play.  Just talking about it makes we want to go home and play it for a few hours.
    As far as your pre-order, it appears that the 500 bonus points for the "Get $10" pre-order offer have already posted to your My Best Buy™ account.  Those bonus points, along with 250 other points, were converted into a $15 certificate and redeemed on 9/19/2014.  I would encourage you to login to BestBuy.com and check your points balance.

    Welcome to the Best Buy forum!
    If your pre-order of Batman Arkham Knight was picked up or shipped within 7 days of the official release day (6/23/2015), then you should qualify for the "Get $10" pre-order bonus.  It can usually take up to 20 days for points to officially post to a member's My Best Buy™ account.  After looking over your account, I can see why the bonus points have not posted and it has to do with the time of the day you placed your pre-order.  
    With that being said, your pre-order may not have actually been a pre-order.  I am going to send you a private message so that I can go over your pre-order and your My Best Buy™ account with you in additional detail.  To check your private messages, you will want to login to the forum and click on the little yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.
