Never received gift card

I ordered the triple play through the website before it expired and I never received an email about it.  It has been about a month.  I'm guessing it is because when I placed the order, it actually put me through to a chat session and they didn't apply the promotion.

Have you contacted Verizon to try and get that corrected?

    When I became a Comcast customer back in Feb. 2010 I was told after 90 days I would receive a gift card for $150.00.  We are now in mid August and I have yet to receive this Gift card.  I have called comcast reps several times and have been told someone would get back to me, yea that never happened.  Called again tonigh and was told I had to call 1-877-220-3549 called that number to be told I was calling the wrong number, was told I needed to go on line to www.comcastrebate.com which I did. And was also told that Comcast them selves are not the ones that actually give the gift cards and do I know who was offering the promo. I said I was told that it would be a Visa gift card. The girl then said well good luck with that. Once on that site the are a bunch of sub catagories, I went into each one of them and in doing so on the other side of the screen about 25 show up with plenty of other pages to click onto. So do I call this a complete run around or what.  Has anyone else been going through the same thing? And if so what has your luck been in handling the situation.

    Still have not received my gift card. Ticket was opened and the notes read that I am due a gift card but that they could not process....? Was told I needed to contact their president in order to get it. WTH??? Comcast is a fraud

  • Didn't receive gift card

    On august 22nd i ordered 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill for - best buy exclusive steel book'. For some reason my order was  switched to the standard blu ray release.I had to re-order the steelbook but at a higher cost. I talked to a customer service rep and was told that they would mail me a $10.00 gift card to cover the price diference. That was on Oct.11th and i still havent received it. I called best buy customer support 4 times today but each time i kept getting disconnected.

    I've had the chance to review your account, but regrettably wasn't able to locate records of the gift card offer you mentioned. I did, however, see that a rep you spoke with in early September offered to apply a $5 credit to your order for this same issue. Rather than applying that credit directly to your order, the rep providing follow-up assistance on October 11th instead applied an equivalent number of points (250) to your My Best Buy membership. Those points posted some time ago, so I'd encourage you to review your points history on BestBuy.com for full details.

  • DId not receive Gift Card for a cancelled order

    Hello,
    A month ago I placed an order for in-store pickup at store 536 in Manchester, NH.   The store had an issue with the order and sold the item instead of holding it for me to pickup.  I called the CS line and after explaining my frustration the order was cancelled and refunded and the customer service representative agreed to send a $5 gift card for the trouble, even providing me with a confirmation number.   He said the gift card would arrive in 8-10 business days.  It has been a month now and the gift card has not been received.  I would like this issue to be resolved.  I have the confirmation number as well as the order number it is related to and would be happy to provide this info to a Mod.

    I am sorry to hear that a gift card we may have offered you as a one-time gesture has perhaps not arrived yet.  It can generally take 10 to 14 days (7 to 10 business days) for something like that to be delivered, so if it has been a month, then we definitely need to take a look and see what might have happened.  To further discuss the issue at hand with you, I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope icon located at the top of the page.

  • Signed up for $50 Gift Card Reserve but didn't receive gift cards.

    I signed up for the offer ages ago when it was first mentioned. I had even received an email confirmation and I had signed up both lines in my family plan to make sure would be no mistakes. I went last week and added got 2 more phones added to my family plan both with new 2yr commitments. No representative knew anything about the offer which is normal from my local Best Buy. I had assumed maybe cards got mailed to me but while reading details page on offer I just saw that I should"ve gotten my cards right after I purchased phones. How do I get my gift card? I added not just 1 line but 2 so no reason I shouldn't have received. I was even asked at the Best Buy mobile department what were both the numbers to my account were. Anyone know what I should do in this situation?

    The promotion applies to the specific number you registered, whether you upgrade or port the number to a different carrier as a new line. But as Neihn mentioned, adding new numbers to an existing account was not part of the promotion.

    I had purchase Skype gift cards several weeks ago. I just found out that I didn't receive the email when I tried to use them today. I had checked the spam box and there are not in it. Could it be possible to resend the gift card to me again?

  • HT201382 Our family all bought each other gift cards for Christmas and set up our iPads to family sharing.  When any family member makes a purchase, it will only be charged to the credit card and NEVER the gift card amount! WHY? Is there a way to fix this

    We just set up family sharing on our iPads and we all have$50 of iTunes cards that have been placed on our accounts.  Why can no one in the family redeem the money from their itunes cards... Instead being charge ONLY to the "organizers" credit card? This is driving us crazy? Now all our Christmas present have gone to waste? Can anyone help?

    Family Sharing purchases do all go to the Organizers credit card by default, that is unless there is an existing credit or balance on the account requesting the purchase according to this article:
    Family purchases and payments
    After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card. As the family organizer, any receipts generated by the transaction will be sent to you. Learn more about how iTunes Store purchases are billed.

    I was supposed to recieved a $50 Visa card for becoming a customer and purchasing an Internet package. My account says it shipped July 17th and it is now August 4th and I haven't received it. I would like an explanation. I have seen where other customers haven't recieved their's either.

    I did received my ecards. After so many days I get the codes of PM on skypecomunity.
    I know also where is the problem. I am from Poland. I have en email acconut on polish website, not any gmail or yahoo. My friend, who I bought the ecards also have en email address on polish website. For some reaseon I don't get the message from chatandvision on this polish email address.
    For many times I did't contact them through there website, I can't. I don't received the automatic message with your case (ticket numer). After days I decided to try another emails address( @yahoo.com). And it worked. I did get autoamitic email and after day email from them. But and the end THEY - chayandvision support did't help me.
    on Skype community there is a memeber named czatandvision. He or she helped me so if you did't get en email with codes write to that member.Write on PM.  Try, don't give up. There is an solution for your problem.

    My friend gifted me an app... paid for it already and everything.. but nothing ever came to my email and it still wants me to pay for the app.  How exactly does this work?  o_O  I figured it would come to my email if anything,  but nope..

  • Verizon Deal / $100 BB Gift Card

    My husband and I went into two separate locations to activate Verizon service through their EDGE program. We were hoping to take advantage of the current deal Best Buy has going to receive a $100 gift card for each new line activation and a Samsung gear headset. Unfortunately, both locations give us an error of “110 Best Buy is not eligible for phone in activation. Customer must contact provider directly for account management.” The blue shirt at the San Tan location (who was no less than irritated to even help us) told us it wasn’t Best Buy’s problem and that we needed to go through Verizon for a “credit check”.
    Well, I contacted Verizon, who in turn gave us flawless approval and gave us an application number to give to the guys in blue the next time we tried it. Second time was still a no go and still we are getting this ever-mysterious error code that NOBODY at Best Buy has been able to explain. We ruled out it being Verizon’s problem with us, so I am writing this under the pretense that I doubt there’s an error code that a manager wouldn’t know the meaning of. Either there’s a serious lack of competence (if it’s “unknown”) or there’s a serious false advertising campaign rigging (nobody tell the customer the real reason). My guess is corporate sent a memo downstream and this is all supposed to be a hush situation, everybody play dumb.
    From my research it appears that Best Buy has no viable reason for this to happen. I found someone online who had the same issue and pretty much had to yell and scream at Best Buy management before somebody “undid” the error and it magically let them activate service. I’m expecting the same result here and I am willing to escalate this, regardless.
    The curious thing is that I am able to activate a non-EDGE Verizon plan pretty easily. Best Buy will let me do that, even over the phone! You guys are more than happy to do that and let me pay full price for my phone! But when I want to do a discounted EDGE plan AND get $200 in Best Buy gift cards using YOUR BEST BUY promotion?... That leaves the only explanation for the error as “Best Buy won’t make money on you so we made up this glitch that nobody on our team can explain.”
    There’s no reason for this to not go through, which leaves this borderline extortion as the only plausible cause. I’m disappointed that nobody in either store could give me a viable reason for the code and instead tried to put it on Verizon, as if no employee had ever seen that come up or asked for clarification. I’m more than willing to activate my EDGE service through Best Buy and only ask that customer relationships be valued as highly as I think Best Buy wants it to be.

    And for more clarification, here is the actual Terms and Conditions of the promotion which I pulled straight from bestbuy.com. It clearly says Verizon EDGE is an eligible program for this promotion. Verizon gave me complete approval, zero deposit, even gave me an application number.

    Then you should be calling the online Apple Store and let them know you never received the gift card!  There is nothing anyone here can do for you.

  • Gift Card Never Received - False Advertising

    Like many of you, I also was promised a gift card when signing up for the triple play package.  As I was told that this would be received after having service for 90 days, I waited and even allowed an extra month for processing and delivery. Of course, this did not come and when I contact Verizon, I spoke with several unhelpful agents. I have spoken with one person who was actually helpful and told me she could put the order in, but I was at my wits end after talking with clueless and rude representatives that wasted my time and Verizon's time. Have any of you had a successful resolution?  I am planning to file complaints with the BBB about the false advertising and send them the copies of conversations and my documentation that I have.  In anyone's experience has this been helpful?
